A/N: Two awesome things happened within this chapter. One: I have not written two chapters in two weeks in forever man. I am proud of myself. Two: This is the tenth chapter! Double digits! And, with it, I break 40k in the filter. I want to thank all my readers for coming by and all the reviewers for telling me what you think. You are all greatly appreciated by me.

Sele: Nya~! Last time on Phoenix Eye. Erza and Seth were being held against their will by a magnet wizard, but Erza jumped in and finally started a fight. Natsu took out Stephen Red with a flame combo and sent him flying. Delnare took out the rest of Stephen's gang, from within and without. And, Wendy surprised us all and dealed some major blows to Blitz, but now she's out of steam! Luckily, Rueman and Arianna showed up from Phoenix Eye! That's great, but what's going on with Luna and Gray!?

Courtyard:

Rueman gave a graceful smile at Kento.

"Am I to presume that you were going to harm the fair Arianna?" He asked.

"If I was?" Kento asked.

"Then," Rueman said, while releasing a string from each hand into the air. "I would have to teach you how to properly treat a lady." Kento nodded and began to twirl his spear skillfully. Then, he pushed it into a magic circle that was created suddenly. That was when the spear grew in size and length. The massive blade shot at Rueman, but he crossed the glowing strings over each other in an x and the blade was deflect.

The blade went up into the air and Kento was forced onto one knee to keep hold of it. He pulled it back through the magic circle and returned to it's original form.

"You might want to go to a safer location, fair child." Ruemen said to Wendy. She responded by nodding and running off with Carla. Ruemen turned back to Kento, who was readying himself for another move.

Main Ramparts:

"You made a bad move bitch!" Astral said to Arianna, who was still standing in the air.

"Pretty sure you made the bad move with that horrible hair." Arianna remarked. Astral gritted her teeth in response. She then clapped her hands and brown dust revolved around her hands at superior speeds. She pulled the spinning dust back with her right arm.

"Meteor Dust: Orbital Saw!" Astral exclaimed and the threw it at Arianna.

"Twilight Force:" Arianna said as she quickly turned around and brought her hands together. She built energy between them and expanded the dull white beam with a black outlining. When it was three feet long she came back for a three-sixty and clashed the beam in her right hand with the dust. "Virtuous Saber." Arianna finished as she struggled in the impact, but eventually she forced it away. The dust then flew back and smashed into the wall of the ramparts.

"How..." Astral said in disbelief. Arianna crossed the beam over her chest and replied,

"I am a master of Twilight. Both light and darkness bow to me and so will all other powers in their might."

Rooftop:

"Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn, damn, damn!" Luna exclaimed with fury as she knocked thunder burst and lightning bolt away with heated punch after heated punch. When she found an opening in the barrage she built a mass of heat around her arms. "Searing Dragons Spearhead!" She thrust both of her arms forward and both builds of heat shot of at Kaminari in an arrow shape.

Kaminari reacted by rising his fists into the air.

"Thunder Lord:" Two small forms of his magic circle appeared over his fists. "Shatter Shield!" Then, with great force, he clashed his fists together and a powerful burst of thunder erupted and deflected the spearhead.

Rai then appeared seven feet to Luna's right.

"Lightning Lord:" He said as lightning built over his arms. "Sky Whip!" Then he flung his arms and two strands of lightning reached out to Luna. One wrapped around her right arm and the other got around her waist. With skill, Rai pulled the whips causing Luna to go into the air. With another movement, Rai pulled her down on the stone roof with a slam.

Rai then dispelled his lightning whips and crossed his arms. He was quite pleased with himself.

"See how I make even a Dragon Slayer crumble, Kaminari." He said.

"Do not forget that I took car of her attack, Rai." Kaminari replied with a grumble. Rai rolled his eyes.

"Yes yes, brother, you did handle her 'attempt', but I was still the one who inflicted the proper amount of pain."

"She would have fried you if it was not for me!" Kaminari rolled.

"Girls!" Luna hollered as she stood up slowly. "You both look pretty in your prom dresses."

"She just won't learn her lesson, Kaminari." Rai said.

"We need a different teaching method." Kaminari said getting on the same page as his brother again.

Courtyard:

Kento skillfully attacked Rueman with a flurry of twirls, jabs, and slashes. But, Rueman dodged one after another and, if he got the chance, he would swipe down his hand with one of his strings. Kento would side step out of the way, but the string would hit the ground and cut into the stone.

After another strike from Rueman, Kento had moved far back from him. Rueman just smiled at the spear wielder.

"That will not save you from fate." He said. Kento did not respond. Instead he held out his left hand, with his spear held back, and created a magic circle that was much large than the ones before. He then put his spear in at an angle through the center. It came out the other end as a much larger form.

It expanded out for several meters till it almost reach the end of the courtyard. Then, Kento began to turn the unaffacted end and the larger end began to sweep across. There was no lag between the ends, it was going as fast as Kento turned it.

Rueman was not phased as the spear came closer to him. Then, when it was only two feet away, Rueman jumped into the air and landed on the enlarged blade. Rueman then jumped again and extended strings from each of his fingers. He brought his hands together, flipped in the air, and, as string came together in one shining stream of light, dropped down towards Kento. Kento himself reacted by propping the giant portion of the spear into the air. The strings clashed with the blade and were thrown off to the left side of Rueman. They hit the ground and the impact caused stone to fly every where.

While Rueman was still in the air, he to the strings back apart and whipped them. When the strings snapped from the motion, they went straight towards Kento as if they were heat seeking. Kento undid the spell on his spear and twirled around like a true expert. Deflect each string that was sent to him by the blade. Then, as Rueman landed, he shot eight strings towards Kento. Kento made no move to deflect this time. He just held out his spear and stood his ground.

Just as the strings were about to hit him, Kento brought his spear down and tangled them up on it. This had caught Rueman by surprise. Kento pulled the string back hard like he had just caught a large fish on the line. Rueman was pulled toward them in this motion. He was flying through the air towards the end of Kento's spear. There was a look of fear on Rueman's face and all Kento could do was smile, but that was when Rueman smiled himself.

"I genuinely hoped you enjoyed to days performance." Ruemans said, and the the strings faded away. Kento was shocked, but he did not hesitate to make his next move. He took his spear up for a massive down slash, but Rueman had grabbed him by the shoulders before he could. Then, he pushed off Kento's shoulders into the air and landed behind him.

"Die, you worm!" Kento exclaimed as he turned around. Another magic circle appeared and Kento shoved his spear through forcefully through it. Out the other end came twenty copies of the spear. All of which were speeding towards Rueman. Kento grinned wildly as he lost sight of Rueman.

There was a moment of silence, then the sound of clashing metal was heard. Kento's grin faded quickly as the spears began to inch away from the area where Rueman was one after the other. Then, they all were flung away and Kento was forced to retract his spear from the magic circle. The cause of this sudden event was Rueman, who was spinning in the air with ten strings spread out and spinning like a great spiral.

The strings then stopped spinning and Rueman landed on his left knee and right fist. The strings slowly floated to the ground in reaction to Rueman ceasing his movements. He slowly stood up and turned to see Kento.

"That was pretty impressive." Rueman said with a smile.

Hallway:

Lucy was walking down the dark corridor with Sele on her shoulder. The sounds from the battles taking place outside echoed through the walls. Sele flinched at every crash and bang.

"Nya~! This is driving me insane!" Sele exclaimed.

"It is a bit unsettling." Lucy commented. Sele then shook her head rapidlly.

"Unsettling!? It's mind retching! Seth could be getting beaten to a pulp right now!" Sele stammered in a nervous rant that was bordering a breakdown.

"Is there nothing that can't make you over react?" Lucy asked with irritated look.

"I'm not over reacting!" Sele retorted, then there was a loud boom from inside the hallway. "Nya~! What was that!?" She yelled as she latched onto Lucy's head.

"I don't know and let go of me!" Lucy exclaimed as she attempted to pry Sele off of her. Then, there was another boom followed by a series of growls. That part freaked Lucy out and now, instead of prying her off, she was holding Sele.

Suddenly a hulking image came into form. It was monstrous and chains were dangling from it. Grave had come to demolish Lucy and Sele, who were stunned that such a man could exist. He slowly moved closer and closer to the two. His gigantic fists smashing the floor with every move. When he was a yard away he stood, the ceiling crumbling because of his strength and size.

"Raaagh, raagh, aargh, raaaaaaagh!" Grave growled at them. Lucy and Sele were a second away from screaming, but then that tiny elf appeared on Grave's shoulder.

"He says, 'I am Grave, today you shall meet your creator!', yes!" The elf said in it's high pitched squeky voice. Sele and Lucy reacted by shaking violently, then their faces twisted up as if they were holding something in. "They are frightened, yes!" That was it for them. Both of them fell over and began laughing uncontrollably. Sele was on her stomach beating the floor with her paws as tears flew and Lucy was on her back holding her stomach.

"Ow, ow, it hurts!" Lucy said through her fit. Then, Sele wobbled to her feet.

"Wait, wait." She said then cleared her throat, which sounded like a stifled chuckle. "They are frightened, yes!" Sele said in her highest voice, which caused both of them to laugh harder and Sele to fall over onto Lucy. Grave growled under his breath and then roared with fury at the two.

Main Ramparts:

Astral cracked her knuckles as she looked up at Arianna.

"I don't care who you are, bitch! You're going down!" She held out both her hands and the brown dust built up in both. "Meteor Dust: Armageddon Assault!" Then, a furious onslaught of dust orbs shot of at Arianna.

Arianna waved traced her free hand over the beam in her other. When, it was at the end, she brought her hand back with a new beam formed. She then to swing the beams in long reaching slashes, which blew away all the orbs that were shot towards her. When all the orbs had been destroyed, Arianna held her hands back and then flung the beams at Astral. Astral jumped to the side as the beams went trhough the ramparts. Leaving two three inch holes.

Astral crouched and built up a massive amount of dust.

"Meteor Dust:" Astral said. When the orb was completely solid, she threw at Arianna with high velocity. "Doomsday!" She exclaimed. Arianna then clapped her hands together.

"Twilight Force:" She said then pulled her hands away and the light with the dark edge build around her. "Guard Shell." She said as finished engulfing her in a perfect sphere. Then, the orb made contact with the energy and exploded in a massive out burst of dust.

Astral grinned like a maniac as the dust filled the air. Nothing could be seen at the point of impact, but Astral was sure that Arianna was gone as she began to laugh.

"Ha, haaaa, ha! Not so tough now are you, Twilight Wench! No one can stand against Astral! I am Alpha and the Omega! The predator of all! I..." Her rant was cut short by an upheaval in the center of dust. It was swirling around as if it was pushed by the wind, but none was blowing. Suddenly, the dust was violently forced away from the center. The removal of the dust revealed Arianna and her twilight energy had removed the dust.

This made Astral furious. She balled her fists tightly and then punched the ground beneath her.

"You think this means you've won!?" She screamed, then dust began to float up around her, but it wasn't the same dust as before. It was an extremely dull light blue. "This is the end!" She yelled the she began to rise up into the air as the dust covered her.

"Comet Dust:" Astral said as Arianna prepared for whatever it was she was about to do. "Striker!" Then she shot off at a blinding speed. Arianna tried to repel it, but she was to fast. Astral punched Arianna in the gut at full speed. Again, Astral thought she had her again, but Arianna's face showed no signs of pain. It was blank. Then, the area Astral hit began to decay into the twilight energy.

That was when Arianna exploded. The massive wave of twilight energy shot Astral back far. It took her a few seconds, but Astral did eventually regain herself. She hovered in the air as the energy dissipated.

"Show yourself!" She exclaimed.

"Enjoy my clone?" Arianna asked as she stepped out from nowhere in the air.

"Because," Arianna's voice said from the right. Astral turned to see another Arianna coming from nowhere. "they will enjoy you." The clone finished. That was when clone after clone appeared out of nowhere. When the show was over, twenty clones were standing in the air.

Astral cracked her knuckles and built a massive amount of the comet dust around her. "Comet Dust: Sweeper!" She exclaimed the she shot off with dome of dust in front of her.

The first clone she targeted braced herself. Astral hit it and exploded in the same twilight explosion as before, but Astral was not forced back this time. Instead she shot right through the wave and on to the next clone. Hit after hit, explosion after explosion, there was nothing stopping Astral in her mad dash. She was like a wild comet zooming through the sky.

When the last clone was taken out, Astral was far above the prison. She scanned the air for Arianna. Then, she faded in as she had been. Her back was to the ground as Arianna looked up at the dust wizard.

"I am through with your tricks!" Astral exclaimed. She then built dust into her palms. "Comet Dust: Deep Space Destroyer!" Astral exclaimed and clapped her hands and a beam was shot out at Arianna. Arianna created another shield, but this one had a slight curve in it. When the beam hit the shield, it reflected off of the shield. Arianna then moved the shield and the beam moved to hit Astral. Astral moved out of the way in response and stopped her spell.

Astral let a wisp of dust build until it was a massive orb with a tail at the end. Astral grabbed the end of the tail and turned to face Arianna.

"Comet Dust: Haley's Mace." Astral said, then she swung the dust mace at Arianna. Arianna dodged it as it went over her head. As she did, Arianna build yet another shield but also generated a saber. With one motion, she deflected the mace and threw the saber at Astral. It hit her in the shoulder and Astral's dust was gone. She slowly fell back onto the ramparts. Astral hit it with a hard thud and a cloud of regular dust filled the air.

Arianna watched slowly as Astral picked herself up and run into the prison.

"No one escapes me." She said and then gave chase.

Eastern Hallway:

Seth was walking along with his hands behind his head.

"This is getting boring. I haven't fought anyone in like...thirty minutes. I mean, what's the point of getting payback for not getting my money, if I'm not..." Then something crashed through the wall to Seth's right.

In front of him was an semi-conscious Astral in a pile of rubble.

"What the..." Seth began, but then Arianna stepped through the hole in the wall. She was about to say something, but she looked over at Seth instead. Seth had a generally freaked out expression at her sudden appearance. That was when Arianna smiled widely.

"Oh, my darling Seth! I have been looking everywhere for you!." Arianna exclaimed as she twirled around in a happy daze. "When I heard the news that you had gone off on a mission that could bring you trouble, I couldn't hold myself. Master said to wait, but I just couldn't!" She stopped and looked over at Seth and jumped to hug him. "Seth~!" But, she was cut short. Seth raised his foot, which Arianna's hit face first.

"I am not dealing with you right now." Seth said, then he let her drop and bolted. Arianna quickly got onto her knees and held her hand out towards Seth.

"Seth! Wait!" She exclaimed. She tried to go after him, but was tripped up by something. She hit the ground face first. Arianna then propped herself up on her hands and looked back. She had tripped over Astral, who had brought herself back to consciousness.

"Damn. What the hell happened?" Astral asked herself as she rubbed her head.

"You." Arianna said with a malice filled voice. Astral stood slowly and turned to see Arianna, with the twilight energy flowing around her. "I have had enough of you. I could have forgotten the battle we had before, but I will not forgive anyone for keeping me away from Seth." Astral looked at her like she was insane.

Arianna then held her hand in the air, and all the energy revolving around her condensed onto that one point. Then, she let the point go and it began to zip around leaving a trail behind. Whenever it made a corner it would leave a smaller point behind. When it's movement was done, a pentagram had been created.

Arianna waved her hand and the pentagram moved towards Astral. Astral attempted to escape, but she was suddenly caught in the center of the pentagram. Then, a force made her stretch out her hands and feet towards the points of the energy construct. Then, she floated until she was upside down in the air facing Arianna.

The twilight wizard then walked to her slowly. She bent down, grabbed Astral's hair, which caused Astral to groan in pain, and said,

"Twilight Force: Punishment Table." Then, she spun Astral by her hair and turned to walk away. As she did, the pentegram increased the speed of it's rotations. As it's speed increased, so did it's light. Astral screamed for it to stop. Begging so she wouldn't be sick and that her arms felt like they were going to be torn off.

Once it was so bright and so fast that you couldn't even see Astral anymore, it disappeared and Astral was still in the air upside down with her arms and legs spread. Then, all the energy that had build up came crashing back and hit Astral with great force. The onslaught carried on for a whole minute and Astral screamed through it all. When it was over, Astral fell to the floor defeated.

Arianna never turned around once during the event.

Unknown Room:

Erza was thrown threw the ceiling and landed on the floor hard. She was covered in cuts and bruises. Erza slowly stood herself up. She was so exhausted she had to lean on her staff. That was when Polaris lowered herself through the hole Erza came through.

"I will not give up!" Erza excalimed. "I don't care if you have forced me to use my weakest form, but I will defeat you. I'm a Fairy Tail wizard. Nothing can defeat a Fairy Tail wizard." Polaris gave Erza's speech no mind. She was to busy looking around at what was in the room. Erza took a moment to see for herself and was shocked.

They were now in the armory. Swords, maces, shields, spears, and all sorts of metal based weapons were there. They had just entered the one place Erza did not want to be. Here, Polaris had all the power. And, she was going to use it to turn the room into a meat grinder.

Courtyard:

Rueman was clearly dominating the fight at this point. Kento himself was covered in cuts that were caused by Rueman's strings. But, that did not mean he had given up. Kento was fighting with all of his might and skill. Though even with his excellent spear wielding, Rueman still landed hit after hit.

Kento jumped away from his last attack and held one of his deeper wounds with his free right hand. Rueman just stood where he was with his usual smile.

"This is fine dance. Isn't it?" Rueman asked.

"You think every thing is a joke." Kento commented.

"No, I think everything in this world is fate. Connected by an invisible string. We are unable to see these strings so every moment is fresh and unexpected. We are merely moving with the ways of the string." Rueman explained.

"I will have to disagree." Kento said. "We take what we want. That is the 'way' of the world. But, my master will use that way to correct it. We will see freedom destroyed. All uncertainty revealed under a blinding light. A world were everyone see's they're path." Rueman tilted his head with a bewildered look.

"But, that's much less fun." He said. Kento created another magic circle after he said this.

"The right way is never fun." Kento said, then he pushed his spear through the circle. Then, a magic circle appeared next to Rueman and the blade came out.

Rueman dodged and ran as the circle with the bladed end followed him. Kento then waved his spear as if it was still there. This was how he controlled it. The spear stabbed and slashed at Rueman, but he dodged every strike. When it got real unpredictable, Rueman jumped up and ricocheted off the wall to the ground.

Kento moved his spear as Rueman jumped. As he did, his foot movements eventually brought him to the center of the courtyard. Kento was getting very aggravated with how well Rueman was dodging. No one had ever survived this long against him.

"Give up!" Kento shouted. "This world is flawed and there is no good reason to protect it!"

"That's where you're wrong!" Rueman replied as he stood at one end of the wall. Kento jabbed and the spear reflected the movement. Rueman jumped into the air and spear became stuck in the wall. Kento attempted to pull it out, but there was no chance. Rueman then landed on the spear. "We have no choice, but to bow to the way of fate." Then, he plucked a string that was invisible before.

That string hit another, that one hit two, and it continued until it was shown that the entire courtyard was covered with hanging strings. And, Kento was in the center of it all.

"Now," Rueman said as an energy built between the strings as the vibrations intensified. "I introduce you to Harmonious Fate." The energy between the strings had now replaced the vibrations and they were being passed around everywhere. That was when the energy then continuously hit Kento.

Before they could do any permanent damage. Rueman dismissed the strings. Kento the fell over unconsicous with his clothes ripped to shreds. The two magic circles disappeared and the spear was now in two. Rueman gave another smile and said,

"That is fate."

Eastern Hallway:

Seth was still running. He did not want to be found by Arianna. His past with her has been nothing less than stalker/target. He looked back to see if she was behind him and saw no one.

'Better make a few more turns before I stop.' Seth though. Then, he looked in front of him again, and around the corridor came Wendy. Before either could react, Seth crashed into her and both went through the door that was in front of him.

Wendy fell there at the door, but Seth flipped and went forward a few feet to land on his back. Seth groaned for a moment, then he slowly stood.

'This is not my day.' Seth thought to himself as he patted the dust off his jacket. He then turned to see Wendy on her knees and rubbing her head. Seth walked over and helped her up.

"Sorry about that." He said.

"It's okay." Wendy replied. Then, Carla entered the room.

"Wendy? Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yes, I'm fine, Carla." She answered.

"Good." Carla said with relief in her voice, then cut her eyes at Seth. "Idiot." Seth rolled his eyes and said.

"Cool it, good luck." Then he turned to see where they had ended up. "I think were in the prison cafeteria. Don't feel like prison food."

"Uh," Wendy stammered as she looked into the darkness. Seth turned to see what she saw. It was cloaked man with the katana from before. He was walking slowly towards the three of them, while drawing his sword from it's sheath.

"Stay behind me." Seth said as he took a few steps to meet him. "Back away now and this doesn't end bad." The cloaked man stopped dead and raised his sword to point at Seth. Seth in turn grinned and tapped his fists together twice. "Fine, I'm all right with you eating some crow."
