Every word the demon god had spoken was true.
Rukifellth couldn't hear her words anymore, for he had become lost to the shadows of Sthertoth's mind.
Her side no longer had the power of the legendary Elemental Stones, for they now slept with Mihaele in eternal darkness.
And Sthertoth would destroy the entire Warship and everyone on it, for he was the master of destruction.
But despite the vast futility of any sort of resistance, Lilith had turned her back on one last chance at worldly salvation in order to return to Rukifellth.
I can't just leave him!
Now she stood before a surprised but amused Sthertoth in the decimated bridge of the Noah, her figure dwarfed by the shadow of his towering god form. "Oho, what's this?" he cackled. "Has the warrior princess come to save her charming prince?"
Lilith readied shining golden knives in her hands. "Are you jealous? You kind of kicked yours into the endless abyss."
Sthertoth only laughed again and brought his claws together for an attack.
As Lilith dodged the powerful energy beams Sthertoth fired her way, she knew, without a single doubt in her mind, that she was going to die.
But at least that way, she could protect Rukifellth in the afterlife.
