Forsaken Gif Challenge:
After coming home from the department store, Soul spied a Maka, curled up on the couch in front of the TV, nursing a heat pack. He set the bag with the box of tampons and pantiliners on top of the kitchen table, and carried the other bag over to his ailing meister, who sluggishly clawed at the bag as it came closer to her. Wordlessly, he pulled out bar after bar of chocolate. Swiss chocolate, Belgium chocolate, cheap Hersheys chocolate, you name it. She cradled them all in her arms, and her face fell when Soul scrunched the bag at the bottom, indicating that no more would be coming out.
"Is that it?" she whimpered.
"It's only 47 bars of chocolate, no big deal." Soul rolled his eyes as he reached for the lukewarm pack and left to refill it with a fresh one.

From the kitchen, he heard Maka crinkle of the wrapper of one, and began to whisper at it. "Chocolate is better than people. Ghirardelli, don't you think that's true?"
Soul called out, "Yeah, people will beat you and curse you and cheat you. Everyone of them is bad." He walked back and pressed the heat pack to her lower stomach. "Except you."
Maka sighed with the bar between her teeth. "But people aren't chocolate."
"No they aren't." He tapped her legs and wormed his way under them. Her legs rested on top of his thighs as he rubbed her knees soothingly.
"Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards." Maka accentuated the last word with a sharp snap of chocolate. "Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. They're bastard dipped bastards with a sprinkle of bastardily bastardness. Moldy, stinky bastards. Ghirardelli, don't you think it's true?"
"That's once again true, for all except you." He reached over to swipe his thumb over her lip, whipping off the chocolate stain and bringing his hand up to his mouth. Though before he could lick it off, Maka caught his hand and brought it back to her mouth instead.
"You got me, you're the exception, Soul." Her voice was muffled by his fingers.
He flipped the channel on the TV to The 100, and his unoccupied hand slipped onto her belly. "I know."
