Hatred

It was well known that The Lin family harbors a hate for the Japanese. Mai Taniyama had helped him understand that blaming the Japanese at this time for something that happen in the past and it was not their decision was lightly putting it idiotic. Lin had also had to overcome his hate because he was actually in love with a Japanese girl that not only won his heart but all of his family. Lin smiled just thinking of how strong his fiancé was, such a tiny person she was and had so much power.

Height

Mai had found that been a short had a lot of disadvantages, she had thought that with time she will overcome this issue by growing. Sadly that was not the case; by age 22 she had reached her maximum height, she still checked regularly but she hadn't grown an inch since she was 20.

It was embarrassing that she had to use a stool to reach the top kitchen cabinets at home and work. To top that off her family had even gotten her a collapsable two step ladder for the office as a birthday present; they had thought it was funny.

She was sure Lin was grateful for the gift because she often called him to get her things from places she couldn't reach. Also he had reprimanded her ,she tried to reach them herself by stretching. She had never thought much about it. But when he said he could see her pink panties,and that hadn't been the first time. She hadn't been able to look at his face for days. Yeah he was her boyfriend but they hadn't gotten to that stage of their relationship yet.

Her biggest problem with height was not reaching for things it was her boyfriend... he was so tall and she well barely reached his shoulders and that was when she wore some type of heel.

It had been funny and troublesome to overcome their height difference. Specially when she wanted to kiss him, she had surprised him when he was standing in the office and she just brought her ladder with her placed slammed it in front of him, climb those 2 steps fast and kiss him. He was clearly shocked the first time, the next times he saw her coming with the little ladder he just knew what she was doing. So she came up with the next idea, she would use anything on hand that she could step to and hang from his neck, one time she had used her luggage, his briefcase, her school bag, a chair, a bench , oh the list could go on.

The romantic way to kiss him was when she would push him to sit and she will sit on his lap and kiss him. She loved the way he would wrapped his arms around her and pulled her towards him leaving no space in between them.

There was the slamming things on his desk, he would be so into his work sometimes that he looked shocked up and she will kiss him then.

Her favorite so far was pulling on his tie, she could do that must of the time and sometimes he couldn't even see it coming.

So she couldn't complain after all about her height, he wouldn't even knowing it but he had happened her overcome her height issue and their difference just by accepting her like she was.

Words

She was like a parrot, she loved to talk, she was also outgoing, friendly, charismatic all the contrary of him.

She will talk your ears out and he didn't mind, not in the slightest.

He since been a child had always been the silent type and when speaking choosing his words correctly to get to the point fast.

She used all the words that he didn't because that was how she was and he loved her for that.

He had learn to overcome the fact that he exhausted his word regimen for the week or may be month with her in less than 30 minutes. He found that he didn't mind at all.

Expressions

She had become if she said so herself an expert on reading stoic expressions. How? Well working with two of the must expressionless man in the world she had to, and to be able to know what her boyfriend had in mind it had been a necessity.

It was all in the eyes and tiny mouth movements, but specially in the eyes.

She wonder why she had to deal with a stoic man when she clearly wore her emotions on her sleeves, it wasn't difficult for him to know how she felt but for her at the beginning it was like solving a puzzle all the time.

It became easier with time and now she could clearly know just by looking a few seconds at his face. It would be like they really weren't expressionless at all and she had actually laughed a few times when she saw them and could see a smiling face that was clearly not there.

Mai Taniyama was happy that they had overcome their differences until now, she had learn from Ayako that once she move in with him more will come but she wasn't worried about it. She was actually looking forward to it.

Well I hope you guys like it . I'm working on other pairings but because this is my favorite it comes easier for me to write than the others
