I watched as my enemies feel down, to my disappointment none of them had died. The enemy has been able to save their own lives, from my own attacks. But's that's not to say due to this battle there wasn't any death for both sides. The battle has approached the end. I was walking getting closer and closer to them. I will save this world I cried.

10. Stage 11 - The Bloody Valentine

"Don't look so disappointed, Ades" Rau told the ship's Captain when he saw the look of disappointment on Ades face. "Well, I don't imagine that it would be too late if we least waited until we heard back from the council." Ades said. "I will be too late. I have a sixth sense about these things. If we don't slip the moment now, later we will later have to pay for that action with our lives. Digald Empirenew mobile weapon, We must secured it before it gets moved." Rau told Captain Ades, knowing that this would be the best Crouse of action.

Meanwhile five ZAFT ace pilots were about to invade a Neutral Colony. "Is it really okay to go ahead with this?" Miguel asked. "What do you mean?" Izak said quickly. "Should we really be carrying out this mission on a neutral Colony?" Miguel responded only to get an angry answer from Izak "If this Colony is so neutral then why is it secretly manufacturing weapons for the Digald Empire!?" Miguel gave a laugh "I know you're right, that's not allowed." From their communicator a ZAFT solider reported. "Guys what are you waiting for? Let's go!". "Understood" Miguel replied and gave his four comrades a nod. "Okay, for ZAFT as they say." Miguel said after giving his nod.

The ace pilot's known with their red uniform lead the green unformed solder's through the sensor lasers. Down the shaft's they went Izak could see a battleship underneath them. He gave the order and ZAFT member's began to plant explosive's around the place.

"Have we finally reached planet Zi." A demonic leader asked. "Shortly'" one of his men reported. He looked out the window and saw a glass looking cylindered. "What is this thing?" "It appears to be a Colony that humans have decided to live on." The same soldiers told him "Human's, well I guess we will attack this Colony first to give them a taste for over power. Then we will take over Planet Zi in one blow. From now on, Zi will come under the rule of Prince Heinel of the Bozanian Empire." Prince Heinel declared and gave his order to attack. "Katharine, Zhul, Jangal," he said the name of his most powerful Bozanian's solder's in the room and made his speech "Attention all troops of the Boazanian fleet. The time is now! We shall spread our advanced culture of Boazan all over the Zi Starting with this Colony. Kill any human who dares try and stop us! Educate them!"

Meanwhile on the Neutral Colony Heliopolis a boy Kira Yamato was working on a project with his classmates, and the door opened a boy came in. "Um.. can I help you?" Kira asked. "Is Professor Go Here? He told me to come here." The boy responded. "The professor has steep out for a moment. Do you want to wait here? His been go a while but he should be back any soon." The boy didn't have a chance to answer back, as the ground beneath them shock. Kira opened the door and saw people running to shelter, "What's this all about" he asked one of them. "We're under attack by ZAFT" he responded, with absolute fear in his voice.

"It's time" Rau said and the Vesalius took off. His plan was to attack the colony from outside while another group took the Daigald's weapons and attacked from the inside. Zoids equipped for Space combat where the first the intercept them. But the Vesalius radar detected something neither ZAFT nor Digald, the object then came into view and Rau wasn't sure it was man-made. "A UFO?" he wondered and it began attacking Digald forces. "Well, that's good for us" Rau said thinking of what to do now, when the UFO's started to attack his own forces. "Change of Plan's, ignore the Digald Empire and focus on attacking the UFO's. As for our pilots on the Colony have them continue their mission." Rau ordered and the Vesalius moved towards a UFO and fired.

Their attack's where doing that good and the UFO's lasers melted their ships very quickly. The Space Zoids went after their enemy and where able to guard themselves from their beams, but to slow to attack them. "Neither ZAFT or Digald are any match for the saucers!" Rau said wondering if he should order his forces to withdraw. "We have to find their weak point." Rau gave his order as he watched the UFO's carefully, when a beam blast destroyed one and then another one. "Show me who fired that, and on the screen was a Mobile Suit that looked similar to the weapons he was order to steal from Digald. "Gundam" he named the mobile suit.

Kamille fired another beam with his MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam. "Kamille, we can't let the Bozian's get to the Planet, we have to hold them off. This is the reason why have been following them for so long. The Battle 7 will be arriving with reinforcements soon" The pilot of the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki told him. "Understood, Lieutenant Quattro"

The explosion's ZAFT left then went off. ZAFT soldiers began attacking from inside the colony. Athrun fired and killed of Orb's guards and proceeded to kill another. All of the ZAFT ace's knew what was going on outside the Colony but they didn't let it affect their mission. Their target was in front of them one for each of them. A teenage boy hid checking each second if a generated didn't come his way. He wasn't that scared he was use to things like this now. "This is Amuro Ray, to Battle 7. It seemed the Colony is under attack. I request you get my Mobile Suit ready soon." Amuro talked into his radio, and he wondered how he would be able to get out of here alive and which side will he fight.

Kira Yamato ran after the boy "Hey you!" he shouted "What are you doing?! It's no use going that way!" "Why are you following me?! You'd better get out of here" The boy answered back when a gust of wind of a explosion blew his hat off and Kira noticed. "You're a girl?" "Yeah what did you think I was, now go back now. I have to check on something on my own." The girl told him and ran ahead but Kira still followed "I can't exactly return now" Kira asked back, looking at the path that has collapsed behind him. Soon the two of them reached an exit and their Kira saw a head of a robot he looked around there were five of them. "Why this is….." The girl then fell to her needs angry and sad. "I knew it The Digald Empire's new mobile weapons. Father, I knew you would betray us all." Kira injured her and took her had. "Come on, it's not safe" Kira told her as saw bullet's being fired from below them.

"Well! This is pretty impressive" Izak said and he got his Mobile Suit of the ground, typing away over writing the OS system. Nicol and Dearka where next to get his mobile suit up, They were ordered to quickly exit the Colony and aid in attacking the UFO's.

Kira had made his way to a shelter, he held the girl with him. "Look. There's one shelter still not closed off Get in." But she refused to move and Kira graphed her and pushed her in. "What are you?!" she reacted. "Just get in! I'll go to the other side. I'll be all right. Hurry!" He gave on last pushed and with her inside, and ran back to the mobile suit's. He saw a boy about the same age as himself fighting ZAFT with only a handgun. "Watch out! Behind you!" Kira screamed at him and the teenager turned around a fired hitting the ZAFT solider.

Amuro saw the teenager' above him and wondered what he was trying to do. Standing out there would only get him killed, and then he remembered the first time he went inside the Gundam. It was like it was happening again. "Come here!" Amuro shouted at him and opened the cockpit of the Mobile Suit. "Thank you, but I'm on my way to the shelters in the left block! Please ignore me!" The teenager responded. "There nothing but a door there." Amuro looked towards the left block "You will be safer in here. The teenager nodded his head and agreed. He then ran down the stairs "This way" Amuro took out his pistol and protected him as he ran, he shoot down one solider with a red uniform and heard his name been called as he fell to the ground "Rusty!" Out for revenge it seemed an red unformed solider came after him Amuro dived to dodged the machine gun's fire. Now coming at him with a knife, Amuro prepared to counterattack but strangely he stopped. "Athrun?" the teenager said the name of the pilot. "Kira?" It was as if the two of them knew each other and Athrun said the teenager's name and took himself away. Amuro then pushed Kira into the cockpit on the mobile weapon.

"Get behind the seat, Kira? The name is Amuro" Amuro ordered and he turned the weapon on, 'I should be able to plot this machine' Amuro wondered and then words appeared on the control panel "General Unilateral Neuro-Link Dispersive Autonom Maneuver" Amuro's brain froze when he read the letter's in bold. Kira read it out loud "Gundam?" Amuro question's filled Amuro mind 'How did they develop Gundam's' as the Gundam rose itself to its feet.

With another beam fired from its rifle the Zeta Gundam took out another Bozanian. "There's too many of them?" And then from the Colony he was protecting three machines came forth. Kamille recognised the designer and understood how powerful they were "Gundams!" "Gundam pilots, follow my formation!" Kamile ordered. "Gundam…. What's that?" one of the pilots of the Brown and Green Gundam asked. "Don't worry about Dearka, It seemed this guy knows how to take these things down. Rau has ordered us to follow his commander's" Said the Pilot of the Blue and white Gundam. "Lets just think of this as combat practice for these are new our 'Gundam's'" The pilot of the Black Gundam said and the three Mobile Suit's followed after Kamille getting into a triangle formation.

Athrun took his stolen mobile suit to its feet and gave his reported. "Rusty failed, that other machine has been boarded by a member of the Digald Empire", the response was once he saw coming. "Than I'll capture that machine! You go ahead with that machine to the UFO's." Miguel told him and he charged towards the machine Arthrun thought. "Kira? Could it really have been him?".

Amuro quickly evaded the ZAFT pilots attack's and aimed the Vulcans which missed the target. "Seems the collaboration is off" Both Kira and Amuro said. The enemy then came at them with a knife, Amuro blocked the attacked. "Phase Shift, armour alone isn't going to save you." the ZAFT pilot said and Amuro remembered a slimier line, Char told him back during the One Year War. "Then, we beat you with skill." Amuro said and took out the Gundam's knife. Kira focus instead of going to the enemy he saw his friends and classmates next to the Gundam. He quickly took his hand on the control panel and Amuro was doing the same, and with a nudge took the GINN to the ground "Seems you have some skill" Amuro congratulated. "Give me a second." And Kira took Amuro off the seat and started to type away. Amuro could only just keep up with Kira's typing speed and with full control of the Gundam Kira fired his Vulcans and gave the GINN a big punch. Amuro made himself comfortable in the back. "Seem's like this Gundam is yours. I'll just give you some pointer's here and there." Amuro told the Gundam's new pilot. "Thanks" Kira thanked, and another knife was equipped to the Mobile Suit. Kira took both knifes and stabbed the GINN . "This isn't good is about to explosion, pull back." Amuro warned and Kira did just that.

Two claws came and destroyed half the Bozanian forces. "Blit, glad you could make it." Kamiile was happy to have his comrade arrive. "Is anyone else coming?" Kamille asked he knew reinforcements from the Battle 7 would arrive. "No, just me" Blit said and Kamille wish there would be more. "Don't worry. This Serpent is a Super robot it's worth about one hundred units." Blit ensured as the Serpent quickly topped everyone at having the most kills. "To think a Natural would get more kills than myself." Derakra watched as the Natural fought. "That's only due to his machine" Izak argued "We should get back in battle formation." Nicol reminded them and the three Gundam's fired in Sync with the Zeta and together catching up to Blit's kill streak.

Rau took the Vesalius back to the battlefield Miguel's unit had just been destroyed. "There appears to be one rather annoying fly buzzing around. If that unit is effective enough to cause Miguel to lose his unit, that's all the more reason why we can't ignore that last one" Rau told Captain Ades and went to the hanger.

Mu La Flaga. In his TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Zero having a hard time defending against both ZAFT and the UFO's "Why is such a difference in battle strength." And sudden his head ached. "What's this?" and he took his unit to the source. Rau saw a Digald solider come at him and he sense something and knew who the pilot was. "Do you sense me, the way I sense you? It's an infortune fate wouldn't you say Mu La Flaga" Rau said and he fired. "Bastard! Is that you, Rau Le Creuset?!" Mu shouted back and fired. "You always need to get in my way. Mu La Flaga! All thou I image you have the same opinion of me!" Rau shouted back with words and bullets and then went inside the Neutral Colony Heliopolis.

Quattro had sensed and battle going on and he felt drawn to it. "Strange it felt like my Newtype powers but different" and he followed the two machines into the Colony. "Amuro is in their isn't he. He sent a message saying he needed a unit."

The Four Gundam's Buster, Duel, Blitz and Zeta all in a square formation moved around the battlefield taking down every UFO they saw. "It seems where gaining ground" Dearka noticed. "The enemy isn't finished yet?" Kamille reminded the three, when a giant beam came and took everyone out of formation. "What the Hell was that?" Izak asked and what appeared to be a giant skull firing laser beams from its eyes. Destroying everything in its path "This must be the boss?" Nicol said and the Blitz attacked dodging the beams that went after it but failed to do any damage. The Serpent then went after it, but it could do scratch the surface of the Giant skull. "We can't give up yet?" came a familiar voice as a Red Gundam swopped down and took out of its gun's. "Athrun" Nicol said his name. "You're slimmer to a Red comet." Kamile greeted his new ally. "We got to aim for this Skull's thing weak points, where it fire's it guns seems to hit it fine" The Four Gundam pilots and Blit agreed to Athrun's plan and they fired while The Serpent used it's fangs to open the weak points up.

Amuro saw four unit's coming down towards them, only two of them he recognised. "Lieutenant Quattro" Amuro called out to his rival. "Amuro, I brought you something you needed" and that was when the Gundam Mk. II came into view. "Kira, I'll leave this Mobile Suit to you." Amuro told Kira and got out of the Cockpit and ran to the Gundam's Mk. II landing spot and got inside. "Amuro Ray, Gundam Mk. II" Amuro shouted out as the Gundam got it its feet. "BOOM!" an explosion occurred from below and a giant battleship appeared out of the smoke. "So, that's the Archangel!" Amuro said the name of the vessel he learnt while investigating the Colony.

Rau saw the Battleship and disappointment entered him. "A new model ship?! I missed the chance to destroy it!" Nevertheless, Rau flew out of La Flag's range and got into the Battleship's range and fired. However, the giant ship was able to evade, the bullets then hit Kira's Gundam. "You got to be kidding me?" Kira said, now equipped with a giant beam cannon, he fired. "What, Kira's That's to…." Amuro shouted as the giant beam was blasted ripping a hole into outer space. Kira heart sank knowing what kind of hole he just made.

From the Colony Kamille watched as a giant beam hit the Bozanian's giant Skull. From the Hole three unit's arrived, "Lieutenant Quattro, Amuro and another's one from ZAFT" Kamile said the names of the newcomer's. "Attention, ZAFT force's equipment the GUNN's with D level equipment." Rau gave the order. "D equipment?" Izak said "Seems Like Commander Le Creuset plan's to capture that giant Skull or something?" "What do you think will happen to Heliopolis as a result?" Nicol answered worried about the Colony. "I guess the Colony would be destroyed." Blit said "Can't be helped now can it?" Dearka asked. "Will try and direct out attack's away from it, but taking down this Bozanin mother ship is our man priority." Amuro told everyone their mission. "If they do get under fire, it would serve them right calling themselves a neutral state. " Izak said, getting a disagreeable look from Kamille, Amuro and Blit. "Regardless, let's hold them off until the D equipment GINN's arrive." Quattro said and everyone on the battlefield agreed.

….

"Please don't get us involve in this war any more than you already have. You may be right, there is a war going on outside our world. But we don't want any part of it, or anything to do with your war. Don't you understand, that's why we chose to live in a neutral state, In the first place and yet…." Kira expressed his views on the Captain of the Archangel. "You heard it yourselves, We're entering another battle." Captain Ramius told him. "You people are being not fair!" Anger rose to Kira as he clenched his fist. "And I suppose you'll tell us that there's only the one mobile suit aboard the ship. And that I'm the only one capable of operating it, right?!"

Kamille looked surprised as the GINN's that arrived not only went to the Bozain Skull but to the Colony as well. "Hey, why are they heading to the Colony?" Kamille shouted. "ZAFT plan to use the Colony as an explosion, to whip the alien mother ship out." Quattro explained. "But there are people inside that Colony." Kamille didn't like what was about to happen. "When, I was inside it seemed the civilianshad all been evacuated to a shelter. That should protect them from the blast." Quattro. "But…." Kamille knew there would still be staff and Digald Forces still inside, will they really risk their lives. "Kamille. We came here to protect the planet, if we can't destroy this Bozain fleet. Then may more lives will be lose." Kamille held his anger, he didn't agree. How are we meant to protect a planet, if we can't protect a few humans on a Colony? Kamille took his Zeta Gundam to Amuro and Arthrun who were entering the Colony. "Amuro, Athrun. I coming with you." He told them.

….

Inside Heliopolis, Athrun listen to Kamille's plan. "Got it Kamille. Athrun, you do what ZAFT needs to do" Amuro told him and Athrun nodded, he didn't know how they would be able to save everyone on this Colony, but he trusted them on their judgement and he saw the Archangel and the Strike in his slight's. "Olor and Mattew. Focus on the battleship! Yo, Athrun! Show us the same spirit that made you defy orders." Miguel ordered "Sure" Arthrun said as he looked on to his target.

Kira dodged a beam and the heavy weapons took out a giant pole in the colony. That was then Kira realised they wanted to take the entire colony down. With the Strike's Sword Kira tried to slash the GINN's but the coordinatordouched it, "It's quick get behind it. Athrun!" Kira heard the him say and saw a red Mobile Suit the Aegis coming from behind. "That mobile suit" Kira wondered, as he dodged it forward assault only to find the GINN firing. Kira took out a beam swords and throw it and like a boomerang, but wasn't indeed to be one. The beam boomerang destroyed the GINN leg's and Kira charged with his sword and destroyed the unit and pilot.

"MIGUEL!" Athrun shouted as he watched his friend burn in the explosion. Athrun rook the Aegis towards the Strike and started to clash swords with it. "Kira. Kira Yamato! So it is you, isn't it Kira?!" Athrun told the pilot of the Strike and Kira shouted out his name. "Athrun?! Athrun Zala!" And their surrounding's exploded. The Colony was falling apart. The air inside took the Aegis out to space he saw the Stike going in a different direction. "Kira!" he shouted. Out in space he saw the Giant Skull get closer to the remains' of the Colony and on impact they both exploded.

The incident was worse than a nightmare. Everything Kira had known to his daily life had just been crushed to pieces.

Prince Heinel watched as his entire fleet had been destroyed. "These humans are much stronger than we imagined." He said and landed on Zi's moon. "From now on this is out headquarters on Zi." Heinel declared. "Yes, this area appears to be suitable for a base to be built on." Zhul informed. "The human's suffered a lot during that battle, and most of them have fled. They know they are no match for us." Jangal reported. "What was the name of the unit's that did all that damage?" Heinel asked. "They called them Gundam's" Jangal said and Heinal nodded. "No one defines the Bozain Empire."

….

From the destroyed smoke the Zeta Gundam and Gundam Mk. II appeared. "Lieutenant Quattro, sending refugee's to the Archangel." Kamille told him and they sent capsule to the direction of the Archangel. Izak tried to stop them. "Why, are we helping the enemy?!" and Rau answered. "This boy was able to save the lives of everyone on Heliopolis not only that was able to handle it without begin a threat to our plans. Will let them go for now as gratitude and secondly our forces need to be organised and repaired. Looking at your unit I doubt it would be able to fight the Strike." Indeed Izak examined his Duel Gundam and punched this dashboard his commander was right.

Kira looked at the capsules getting out of the Archangel that Amuro Ray delivered. "Thanks, hey the next time we meet will we be…." Kira tried to say enemy, but he didn't know. "I don't know, but today you were not my enemy. As for ZAFT, they don't matter." Amuro told his new friend. "You fought well out their and I understand your reason not wanting to fight. When I first piloted a Gundam, I didn't want to have anything to do with the war and I was the only one capable of plotting it. But, protecting my friends on that ship was the only reason I stayed. I had to run away from my friends a crew in a desert to be able to release that. Even Bright gave me a slap to give me a reason to fight." Amuro touched his face remembering the Bright Slap he was given. "What will you be doing now?" Kira asked. "I plan to travel with the Battle 7, that's the ship we came here with and then learn about your technology" Amuro explained. "Who are you guys and why are you here?" Kira asked. "You're Planet we want to save it. What happen to our Planet Earth will not happen to your Planet Zi." Amuro then membered the events of what happen after the One Year War. "Fight, with that Gundam Kira." Amuro told Kira and left.

The solder's of the PLANT mourned the friends they had lost. Athrun thought about Rusty and Miguel, and his thoughts went to Kira. "Sir, I would like to apologize for what happened during the previous battle." Athrun told his Commander. Quattro was also in the room leaning against the room looking at him. "I have no intention of punishing you. You were not yourself; I am curious as to what your explanation. Go ahead" Rau told him. Athrun then went silent. "I understand you were near that machine when it was activated." Rau asked. "I deeply regret my conduct. The alien's may have been interfered, but I still should have reported the incident. That final machine, the person piloting it is my friend. Kira Yamato. We attenuated the same lunar prep school. His a Coordinator." Athrun told "Oh" Rau said surprised at the word. "I never dreamed that we'd meet again like this, so I need to find out for sure" Rau nodded his head "I See. War is full of irony" Rau then got up "I don't blame you for being stunned. I imagine you were very close to this friend." Athrun nodded "Yes".

"Well, I'm taking you off the next sortie. I think its best. You wouldn't be able to point a gun at such a friend and I have no desire to put you in that position." Rau gave his order and Athrun tried to tell him "No, Commander! That's…! "Even if he was once your friend we must emulate him if he's now an enemy. I'm sure you can understand that." But Athrun shouted back and defended him "Kira, that's his been manipulated by the Natural's brilliant as he is also naive and good nature. There are exploiting him and he is just blind to it. That is why I have to go back to reason with him. Kira Yamato is still a fellow Coordinator. I'm positive he will come to our way of thinking." The words came from Athrun mouth speaking to what he believed. "I understand how you feel, but want if he won't listen" Rau said and a face of disappoint feel on Athrun face. "If that should happen, I'll shoot him down myself." Rau nodded and Athrun proceeded to leave and Quattro got off the wall. "Why don't you join us, Athrun. I'm sure it would help take you minds off things" Rau said and pointed at the seat in the room and Athrun took the offer and listen to their conversation.

"Those UFO that attacked are part of an alien race called Bozanian Empire they are a demonic race. Their aim is to control Planet Zi" Quattro told Rau. "They came from the Planet Earth, just like us." "And where is this planet Earth? You said the planet blew itself up. But where about did it exist." Rau asked. "We don't know, we have no idea where we are in fact, We spent fourteen year's searching the galaxy. The only thing close to human life was the Protoculture, and the Bozain's." Quattro explained. "But, why wait? Why wait until the Bozain's attack first, why didn't you attack sooner." Rau sensed Quattro was hiding something. "We didn't want to take any chances. The same threat that destroyed Earth, will also destroyed Zi. We had to know you're battle strength and see what the chances are you could defeat the Evil God of Darkness." Athrun tried not to laugh. 'Evil God of Darkness, came and destroyed their Planet'. "Well, Lieutenant Quattro me and Athrun have a meeting at the PLANT's to attended. Disusing it with them would be the best" Quattro nodded. "Is also involves the Digald Empire, I can see you're in a war. But they are living on a Planet we wish to protect." Rau said nothing.

"So that's why you couldn't arrive in time." Kamille asked Captain Jenius. It seemed that the Bozain's had to create a base on the Moon. They had to keep things under check. "It looks like, I will be travelling with ZAFT for now. It seemed being a Newtype had given me skill's equal to theirs" In their eyes been a Neutral with the skills of a Coordinator was fine with them. "Quattro is out to be pollution and Amuro is researching Zi's technology. Blit should be back to the Battle 7 by now" Kamille reported.

"So Orb was teaming with the Digald Empire, after all. They're the ones who violated the treaty."
"However, representative Athha We can't trust anything those living on Zi say."
"They've gone off and created these things. Those disgusting Naturals."
"This is a perfect indication of the intentions of the Naturals. They crave war and the desire to break havoc and destruction"

Rau, Athrun and Quattro listened to the Committee leaders of the PLANT's. "There is no one who prefers to fight." Chairmen Zala told them all. "Who among us actually wants to head out to a battlefield? We prefer to live peacefully, gracefully and happily. That has been and only been our only desire." Zala then put his hands on the table. "But who came ruthlessly and shattered that desire. Who took our freedom away for their own convenience and ambitions? And pushes us a side and exploits the Coordinator's" Everyone in the room remembered the day Digald fired the nuke. "We will never forget that 'Bloody Valentine' The tragedy of Junius Seven! We fight is the only way to protect ourselves. If we cannot protect unless we fight then we have no choice but to fight!" To Zala's word's Quattro thought to how they ended the war with the Protoculture was not with a bullet but a song. 'They will have to learn for themselves. That you can protect without fighting' he thought.

Took his motorbike to the air dodging the metal rod's that where being throw at him and with his pistol shoot every target. Someone else on the training area a master of Judo Daijirō defeat every Judo student all at once easily. Underwater, a kid Hiyoshi defended himself from a shark with only his knife and ended up killing it with a single blow. In the tree's a fourth person Megumi dodged machine's guns, laser' guns and other crazy tarps in her way.
