Under Da Sea ~ 2 Months Later
Sinbad was on his throne bored as he listened to Jafar list off all Sinbad had left to do. Finally, a loud groan caused him to stop. "Jafar I've been working all month it's time for a break. I suggest a part tonight."
Jafar pouted and placed his hand on his hips. "Remember what happened last you because of one your parties? It's the reason we have Kougyoku."
"Gou not too bad she's a hard worker and complains so little. I think there would be some problems if we tried anything, but I could probably fuck her."
"Sin this is serious, we don't need her angry or upset. I've been looking into her; there's nothing much except she's got a place 6 hours from here. It's near the island nation known as Helohapt. I don't trust her there is something off about… wait did you called her Gou?"
"Yes it's a nickname I thought up, cute right?" Sinbad responded with a smile, picking up his head from his palm.
Jafar brushed it off, "Sinbad Kougyoku is not to be trusted."
Sinbad smirked and stretched his body. "She in love with me you know."
"I'm aware but that's why you need to be careful, if she found out about-" Jafar was cut off by Sinbad yelling."DON'T SAY HER NAME!" Jafar grunted, "There's a rumor she known for visiting the great and fearsome-"
"DON'T!" Sinbad shouted again. Jafar looked pissed. "Rahab. I'm sure she learned about you through her; she could be working for her."
Sinbad quickly got defensive, "Rahab and I agreed that we go our separate ways as I had a responsibility to my kingdom."
"Sin she may have found out your 'responsibility' was you not to wanting to stay with one female because we all are aware that." Ja'far retorted in angry.
Sinbad still was defensive. "She wouldn't she's probably busy getting the sea in balance. As always and Jafar I'm throwing that party, just let the guest now I may grope any female."
Reim Empire~
Yamu walked into the kitchen as she had been informed by Azi last night to meet everyone there. Once she saw the magi she asked,"Why are we in the kitchen? Why are the princesses smashing and cutting food? Also what are those iron machines?"
"The challenge today is to see which princess can prepare the better dish. It's called cooking, and that is a stove." Shenglong huffed uninterested watching over the princesses. Yamu pouted a tiny bit. "Um."
"What's wrong?" Shenglong asked annoyed. "I have no idea how to cook." Yamu admitted.
"How'd you eat back home then?" Shenglong asked not thinking, and Azi frowned at him.
"Well, I'm used to food that has been heated, in fact, I've only eaten cold things like fish and kelp raw." Yamu informed him as if he didn't have any idea.
"You've never had anything warm to eat?" Shenglong asked now interested, Azi also looked interested.
Yamu grabbed her hair and played with it. "No just fish which your mother had provided to me. I've recently just had fruit, and it's quite good. It's much different to what I expect, I almost couldn't stand the sweetness of the grape."
Azi stared at her, leading Yamu to be uncomfortable, "What?"
"You shall be our judge. YAMU WILL BE JUDGING!" Azi shouted to the princesses who just looked up from their work, only some kept working.
"I apologize for this inconvenience." Yamu immediately stated after her friend's outburst.
"Not a bother just what do you prefer to eat?" Eva asked as she was one of the princesses who stopped.
"I'm not very knowledgeable with food. I normally eat fish, but you should make whatever you feel free to make whatever you're best at. It wouldn't be fair if you made something you had no idea on how to go about, and I refuse to be the only one judging. Again it's not fair to all of you who have been working so hard while I had just woken up." Yamu answered.
"Understood." Morgiana replied with a determined look in her eyes.
Later
Sharrkan, Alibaba, and Yamu were stuffed after they finished their samples. Each of them sampled some of the food unaware of who made what in order to be fair as the magi noticed that the princes were starting to lean towards certain girls. Alibaba was hitting things off with Toto and seemed relaxed around Morgiana. Seredine and Hakuei had caught both of their eyes often, but it was evident that Seredine was more into the idea of marrying them. Seredine was using this time to forget about the wedding she returning to back home. Eva, on the other hand, was hitting things very well with Sharrkan. As well as Pisti and Spartos were hitting things off with each other.
Yamu had got a wink from Azi before Azi left the dining room to deliver Masrur's and Scheherazade's dinner. Scheherazade had to remove herself from the game as her health wasn't looking up. Masrur had to take care of her and was rarely seen as Scheherazade had to be tended to often. Yamu had never imagined tastes as she experienced in the samplings. The sours, the sweets, the tangs, and everything in between. All new and wonderful she sighed a little as she played with the last of her grilled halloumi.
Sharrkan took note, "What's wrong with you sea hag, not enough salt?" He had a smug look on his face; he was proud of his burn. Yamu was unaffected by it though."Just thinking." She mumbled not in any particular mood to react to much. Sharrkan took note of this again and was taken aback.
"Come on no comeback. You must be having troubled thoughts." Sharrkan remarked and then took a sip of wine.
"I've never had anything like this food, I've spent my life really in one place and though I knew there was so much out there to explore, I didn't realize what I was missing. Like you for example I'd never met people with you skin color. Even the food I've never experienced like this before even the not so great food. I've been more cultured in the past 3 or so months than I have ever been my whole life and I'min my mid-20's, I'm- I am an old sea hag."
"How old are you?" Alibaba asked in an attempt to join the conversation. "25 you?" Yamu was looking at Sharrkan. A small blush crossed Sharrkan's cheeks "23. Hey, aren't you 19 yourself?"
"Oh yeah, it was because I just turned 19 did I jump on the chance of getting marriage out of the way now that I came along."
"Don't lie to me kid you really want to fool around with some princesses didn't you."
"Maybe a little."
"Ah yeah, that's, what I'd been doing before this trip. However, I quickly learned that I have to take this thing seriously as my father's wishes."
"I had heard on the way over you had died or something, the crew wanted to turn around." This caught the attention of about everyone in the room.
"Oh well, I almost died, I was coming back from spending some time learning our trade routes and meeting with our trade partners. We got caught in a storm as because of passing through the ship graveyard; a wave was about to take out this sailor on the ship. Pulled him out of the way before it hit, the next thing I know I was sucked up the wave instead. It was weird getting thrown around by the wave and drowning was a new feeling I'll never forget. I was pretty much dead, but I guess there was underwater current that dragged me into a cave. Barely awake and I can't even remember how but I pulled myself onto the solid surface and was able to finally breath again. Yes, it did mean I coughed up a lot of water that stung my lungs once it was out and remained for a few hours as I slept it off. I found my way to the surface and built a fire Drakon's ship was nearby, and they spotted the fire. I found my way home after a week of traveling." Sharrkan chuckled a little as he thought back to it.
"Quite a lucky man you are." Eva commented before returning to her food.
Later~
Prince Sharrkan was walking back to his room when Eva hurried after him; he stopped and smiled as he saw her near. "What do I owe the pleasure of your presence?"
"Your story has sparked my interest. You laughed at the end of your tale why is that?" She enquired.
"Oh, something crazy." He shot her down.
"It is a crazy tale in itself prince." She retaliated.
"Don't be so formal Eva, we might get married after all so it's ok to call me Sharrkan. You also do make a valid point; it's just...I had this dream that a mer- a woman saved me from the water. From what I could make out she looked like she had horns growing out from the sides of her head and body."
"If she was in the water maybe they were shells." She suggested trying to play along with the crazy theory. Sharrkan was impressed,"Oh you make a very valid point again Eva. Well, goodnight see you tomorrow for the announcement of the winner of tonight. By the way what did you make?"
Eva's face turned hard again."There is no need for you to know that."
A smirk crossed his face, "You worried it was one of the bad ones?"
"Goodnight!" Eva responded without looking at him with a red face.
Sharrkan turned around and saw Azi knock on Yamu's door. Yamu poked her head out when the door opened and quickly let Azi in. Sharrkan yet again was taken aback by the actions of Yamu, for the second time that night.
Elsewhere~
"So is that how you managed to get Heliohapt to trade with us?" Seredine asked once she noticed no one was around to hear.
Drakon stiffened a little it was evident in his walk. "His father and I spoke about after we returned him home, and he agreed to the deal of us trading. It was smart financial tactic I made."
Seredine Walked in front of him and turned to face him as she walked backward. "Just admit it, you were just trying to help out a stranded castaway. You were just lucky he was of value."
"If I were so nice I would never have brought him back to his homeland and let him just get his job working the docks, like he wanted when we first stopped." He spat annoyed and drunk.
"What?" Seredine asked surprised at the revelation.
Drakon sighed,"Please don't repeat this information but Sharrkan wanted to walk away from the crown. He knew that it was a good time for him to do what he wanted and not have to worry about his royal duties. He didn't seem to like his father much, mainly because he wanted to do his own thing. The idiot was drunk when he told, he was spouting nonsense about a mermaid or siren saving him during the storm. He believed it was the reason he lived and kept saying he owed his life to the sea."
"An arrogant prince wanted to walk from everything, eh?" Someone mumbled from behind a pillar as they eavesdropped in on the conversation. The two started to walk again before they parted ways as Drakon walked his princess to her room first before leaving her for the night.
Elsewhere~
Azi sat on Yamu's bed brushing Yamu's hair as the parrot watching from the headboard. "You seemed sad at dinner."
"Just thinking about my future and my past." Yamu muttered looking at headboard watching the parrot talk for her.
Azi took some of her hair in parts and started to play with it. "Ah, you're digging up ghosts I see. Bad thing to do on a vacation Yam."
"Tell me something that'll keep my mind off it then." The parrot squawked. "Alright all I've only got gushy romantic stuff to talk about." Azi remarked letting go off her hair and sat with her legs pulled in close, butterfly style.
"Argh, go ahead and tell me." Yamu (the parrot) groaned.
"So Spartos and Pisti are totally flirting with each other, well Pisti is doing more of the flirting. Morgiana has a crush on Alibaba, so everyone is trying to push them together. Then it seems that Olba has been hanging around a lot lately, still trying to figure who he been seeing. Finally, Masrur and Scheherazade are in love."
"In love? You are such a girl." Yamu responded while laughing as she leaned her back against the wall.
"Is that suppose to offend me?" Azi asked.
"No, but despite how much you act and kinda look like a guy and let people think your guy, you are a girly girl. Bet your mom would agree Azica, but honestly they're in love?" Yamu remarked sassily to her friend.
"Yup," She said popping the 'p.' "Masrur has only left Scheherazade's room to take her to the bathroom to bathe and so on. He has to bathe some time, and he wouldn't allow himself to get dirty so they must be bathing together. From what I've been told Masrur would gladly do anything for Scheherazade."
