The battle continued with the Quincy now on the ropes as the arrancars were now working together with the soul reapers. Grimmjow was tearing through every single one he came across while Stark was sniping down Quincy from his perch. Nel and her brothers fought with Yoruichi along with the recently arrived Yasutora Sado.

Hallibel moved through the streets together with the captain of squad ten Toshiro Hitsugaya, they came to an easy alliance when they figured out how well their powers worked together; Hallibel would blast the enemies with water and then Toshiro would freeze the water finishing them off, making the two a deadly combination.

Captain Shinji Hirako found himself working with Rudbornn and his Calaveras in protecting the building squad four was using as a medical post, after he brought in the severely wounded captains Soi Fon and Kenpachi. Orihime was quickly located by Rukia and Renji and brought to the medical camp.

Ichigo was gradually making his way towards the enemy's palace dealing with the soldat and sternritters on his way. Inuyasha on the other hand decided to take his time and eliminate the Quincy forces along with Kagome, before going to deal with the leader. A nasty battle strategy he remembered Aizen teaching him; destroy all one side's pawns before you kill the king, so that way the king feels helpless and alone when you go in for the kill. Inuyasha hated to admit it, but it was an effective strategy.

ELSEWHERE

Lieutenant of squad seven Tetsuzaemon Iba found himself cornered. He had managed to evade many of the Quincies while carrying a transformed captain Sajin Komamura in his full wolf form on his back. He dealt with a few soldat with ease, but now he was up against a sternritter, a guy with long hair half black on one side while white on the other, wearing the usual white Vandenreich attire, with a white top hat. He introduced himself as Gregory Grimm, Sternritter M the Magician and he seemed to have the power of teleportation allowing him to make objects disappear and then reappear, coming to crash down on top of the lieutenant and weakened captain.

"Well this has been a fun show, but it's time for the finale!", the Quincy said snapping his fingers, suddenly the building behind him completely vanished and then reappeared above Lieutenant Iba and Captain Komamura. From the spot they were in they couldn't escape the falling structure. He attempted to shield his captain knowing it was probably pointless when out of nowhere a large blast of yellow spirit energy completely shredded the building into dust. Looking over at where the attack came from Inuyasha stood still in his resurreccion, huge fang shaped sword resting on his shoulder.

"Sorry I'm late for your show, perhaps you can give me an encore", Inuyasha said with a cocky smirk his tail wagging left to right.

"Your one of those arrancar his majesty told us to destroy", the sternritter said pointing at him.

"Come at me Quincy", Inuyasha said waving his white armored hand in a 'bring it on' gesture.

"Sure thing, let me just take care of the audience first", the guy vanished and reappeared behind the lieutenant with a dagger in hand and tried to stab captain Komamura, but his wrist was caught by the white haired arrancar. "How did he?" Inuyasha easily broke the guy's wrist causing him to scream in pain dropping his dagger.

"Damn you! Prepare to disappear!", he tried to use his other hand to use his power, but Inuyasha just held tight to his wrist and repeatedly slammed him into the ground like a sack of laundry breaking more of his bones. When he was done he looked over at Kagome who saw it was safe to approach.

"Do your thing Kagome", Inuyasha said holding the beaten sternritter up while Kagome brought her hand up to touch the Quincy her hand glowing with her spiritual powers.

"This isn't over, not when I have Voltstandig!", the sternritter shouted not yet realizing he was completely purified of all his powers. Inuyasha didn't bother with explanations he quickly ran his large blade through the now human's stomach, killing him almost instantly. The arrancar didn't even spare him a second glance as he tossed the dead body off his sword onto the ground.

"You could have let him live Inuyasha, he didn't have any powers anymore, he was just a human", she tried to reason to him.

"No Kagome these guys are not human anymore. Maybe they were to start out with, but someone took them and trained them to be cold blooded killers, their just psychopathic monsters now", Inuyasha said with disgust. He spoke with experience, the one thing he could never blame Aizen for was turning the arrancars into killers, they were already killers, they had to be to exist and evolve in Hueco Mundo. Whoever was in charge of these Quincies turned these humans into monsters, and to Inuyasha that was unforgivable.

Kagome was a little frightened by the cold look in Inuyasha's eyes as he impaled the former Quincy. She realized that this is the true arrancar side of her husband that he never let her see; she never really thought of all the people Inuyasha had to fight and kill to get to where he is today. Inuyasha gave her a softer version of what life in Hueco Mundo was like, while Yoruichi, after a lot of persistent questioning gave her the truth about the primal savagery of the hollow world. Kagome didn't want to believe that Inuyasha could have ever been like what a hollow was described to her, but she knew she was just being naïve wanting her half demon to be a hero like always. What she saw now, how Inuyasha mercilessly cut down these Quincies was a glimpse into the five hundred year life he spent in Hueco Mundo. She didn't like it, but underneath that the Inuyasha she knew and loved was still there fighting to protect those he cared about.

"You two alright?" Inuyasha asked the lieutenant and captain. He noticed that the captain's reiatsu was familiar and his scent was one he recognized, just more concentrated on wolf. "That you Komamura?", his asked the wolf. Sajin Komamura looked him directly in the eye not speaking, but answering with his eyes, yeah it was him.

"Thank you arrancar", Lieutenant Iba said bowing his head in gratitude.

"It's the great Lord Inuyasha and don't mention it", he received an elbow in his side from his wife Kagome for that 'great lord' part, "Fine just Inuyasha then". The sounds of hands clapping caught their attention.

"Ah yes, behind every strong man there's a beautiful woman rolling her eyes", the man who approached was dressed in a white captain's robe with a kimono draped over it, straw hat and eye patch. The soul reaper had a relaxed demeanor despite the chaos around them.

"And who are you?" Inuyasha asked letting down his guard seeing as it was a soul reaper captain and not another sternritter.

"Recently appointed Head Captain Shunsui Kyoraku, at your service", he said tipping his hat towards the couple.

"Former zero Espada Inuyasha Taisho", the dog eared arrancar introduced himself and then pointed his thumb at Kagome, "And this is my wife".

"Um hi, I'm Kagome Higurashi, it's nice to meet you", Kagome greeted politely giving a short bow.

"A pleasure to meet you as well", Kyoraku said with a friendly smile, he'd seen some odd things before, so a human married to an arrancar was only somewhat surprising, he then turned his attention back to the arrancar. "By the way, I must thank you for the support of you and your friends; you really came just in time".

"You don't have to thank us; we have our own score to settle with these Quincies, we're all just uniting against a common enemy", Inuyasha admitted, the truth was he didn't originally want to help the soul reapers, he still didn't like them that much, but he could understand the necessity for them and there were a few that were okay in his eyes. If saving them means he could get his revenge for his fraccion Sara, Zana and the many other slaughtered arrancars, then so be it. Inuyasha stopped his train of thought before he slipped into his previous selfish mindset, remembering the words his zanpakuto told him.

'What good is all the power in the world if you won't protect that world with said power', was what Peraluna instilled onto him.

"Also you have my thanks for keeping the enemy from invading the soul palace", Kyoraku said extremely grateful and relieved, he knew the zero squad would have been quite pissed had Juhabach actually stepped foot in the royal realm.

"Yeah I still don't know what any of that soul palace stuff is; we were just trying to keep these assholes trapped here".

"Didn't Aizen tell you guy's anything about the Soul King when you were part of his army?" Shunsui asked confused over the powerful arrancars ignorance.

"That bastard liked to blather on about this and that, so I would normally tune him out during the meetings unless he spoke directly to me", Inuyasha said scratching his nose in boredom remembering those long boring and sometimes irritating meetings. The Head Captain couldn't help, but chuckle at that.

"Well your right about that"

A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY

Haschwald watched from a distance the short battle between the white haired arrancar and sternritter M. He saw everything especially the girl that was able to completely erase the Quincy's powers and he concluded that it was her who was responsible for his majesty's loss of his soul fragments. Her abilities were a serious threat to his majesty's existence and she must be destroyed before she does any more damage.

He slowly approached the group intent on ending this quickly and efficiently when all of the sudden he found himself dodging out of the way of a large red cero.

"I thought I sensed something fowl close by", Inuyasha turned his head focusing his attention on the new comer that he just fired on. He knew it was a Quincy and judging by the spiritual pressure it was another sternritter.

"And just who the hell are you?" Inuyasha asked in a cold tone, he was really getting sick of these guys.

"Sternritter Grandmaster, Jugram Haschwald and you are the one leading the arrancar filth aren't you", the stone faced Quincy spoke.

"Well the filth is currently kicking your Vandenreich's ass, so what does that make you Quincies then?" Inuyasha retorted smirking. He then noticed that the sternritter was glancing over at Kagome and he didn't like it one bit.

"It doesn't matter if you appear to winning, once his majesty recovers his power this futile resistance will end", he spoke almost emotionlessly.

"Hate to break it to you, but this is your extermination now. In case you haven't noticed the recent events you're all trapped here", Inuyasha said referring to the massive Gillian negacion isolating the sereite.

"I minor setback. Now step aside I must destroy that girl as his majesty commands", Haschwald said drawing his broad sword and pointing it in Kagome's direction.

"Over my dead body!" Inuyasha shouted firing shards of adamant from his blade at the bastard that dared to threaten Kagome's life in front of him.

"More futile resistance, very well If I must deal with you first then so be it", the sternritter spoke landing on top of one of the buildings close by.

"Hey Kyoraku, can I ask a favor?" Inuyasha asked the captain who nodded his head. "I need you to take Kagome along with that Lieutenant and Komamura and get far away from here", he said leaving no room for arguments.

"Inuyasha you can't be serious, I came here to help you, I'm not going to abandon you", Kagome pleaded to him.

"I'm sorry Kagome, but I have a feeling I might have to unleash my full power to beat this guy, and there's a good chance that you could be crushed under the weight of my reiatsu, so please go", Inuyasha explained to her.

"Alright, but you better come back alive or I'll sit you into oblivion", she practically threatened him into staying alive.

"That doesn't even make any sense, that damn necklace is long gone", he chuckled at her. The subjugation beads were buried along with his body over five hundred years ago.

"I'll find a way", she actually managed to scare Inuyasha with that dangerous look in her eyes. The dog eared arrancar just smiled at her before giving her a quick goodbye kiss, like the kind of kiss he gave her before he left for work in Karakura town, as if to say 'see you later love'.

"Go", and with that Kagome left with the Head Captain Kyoraku who looked back at the arrancar with confidence, believing he would be fine. Lieutenant Iba followed after them with Komamura on his back who looked back at Inuyasha with worry in his wolf eyes.

"You know I'm surprised you just stood there and let them leave, the other sternritters I faced were psychopathic cowards that wouldn't hesitate to cut someone down while their backs were turned", Inuyasha said looking up at his opponent who hadn't moved a muscle while he watched the interactions between Inuyasha and Kagome.

"I believe in a fair fight; one against one, my power against yours, it should always be a balanced fight", Haschwald spoke with his usual poker face.

"That's a good belief to have, let's see how much it helps you!" Inuyasha forward, sword raised, as he expected his slash was dodged. Inuyasha quickly brought his weapon up to block the Quincy's broad sword from trying to decapitate him.

"How fortunate for you", the sternritter remarked dryly.

"You mean unfortunate for you", Inuyasha tossed back. The two of them clashed back and forth for a bit each trying to measure the other's power. Inuyasha managed to knock Haschwald's blade away while he fired a point blank bala. The attack hit the Quincy dead center in his chest, knocking the wind out of him for a moment, but leaving him unharmed.

"For a second time you are fortunate", he said sounding a little more ominous this time.

"Just what the hell is that supposed to mean"?" Haschwald didn't answer him; instead he moved forward with even greater speed then before and slammed his blade into Inuyasha's much larger one. Inuyasha was shocked by the sudden power in the attack and his shock continued when he noticed the Quincy left a small nick in his sword.

'What the hell was that? His power and speed suddenly increased out of nowhere, could this have something to do with his ability?' Inuyasha was thinking back to something the sternritter said about how fortunate he was and was trying to piece together what was happening here.

The two of them once again engaged in a sword fight. The Quincy was pretty good, but Inuyasha had a few centuries of experience under his belt, allowing him to deliver a few cuts on his opponent's body while he still remained unscathed.

"Your good fortune continues to amaze me", Haschwald spoke looking down on his wounds, Inuyasha had a feeling something was about to happen again so he brought his sword up in a defensive position. He was not prepared for the Quincy to suddenly appear before him and bring his sword down, cutting Inuyasha's larger sword in half and delivering a nasty cut across Inuyasha's exposed chest. The arrancar backed away to get some room and continue trying to figure out what was with this guy's ability.

"You look confused over how this battle is going", Haschwald commented.

"You could say that", Inuyasha said as he brought his hand up to the bleeding wound on his chest and burnt it closed with some of his raw spirit energy.

"Allow me to reintroduce myself, properly this time; I am Sternritter B the Balance Jugram Haschwald", Inuyasha was starting to understand his power a little. Whatever it really was it involved balancing their powers.

"So that's all your ability is then, balance?" Inuyasha asked fishing for more information and he was rewarded with a full explanation.

"Yes, my ability allows me to gain strength for every fair blow you land on me. It's a difficult power to use, I have to fight my hardest and hope you hit me", Haschwald explained.

"I see, so you can't just sit back and let me cut you, you have to fight with everything you have or else your power won't work, it wouldn't be fair", now he was understanding the meaning behind the Quincy's words and beliefs.

"Thanks for giving away your weakness", Inuyasha smirked finally reading between the lines and seeing the flaw in this power.

"What do you mean weakness?" the Quincy questioned sternly.

"Well if every hit I make increases your power, I just have to kill you with one blow!" Inuyasha held his broken sword out in front of him and increased his reiatsu to a level beyond his current. Haschwald watched confused as the severed blade dissolved away into black spirit energy wrapping around the arrancar in a massive dark vortex. The weight of the still increasing spirit energy was suffocating like a tsunami of raw power bearing down on the Quincy. The energy dispersed out ward in a massive shock wave of spiritual pressure that could be felt all across the sereite by every soul reaper, arrancar and Quincy. When the black spirit energy finally subsided the arrancar's new form was finally revealed.

"Resurreccion Segunda Etapa!" Inuyasha stood in the air; all of the white armor that once covered his limbs was gone along with his cape and mask fragment. His arms were now covered in white short fur leading up to his shoulders, waist down consisted of legs covered in the same thin pelt, his clawed feet and hands were left exposed with white cuffs of thicker fur wrapped around his wrists and ankles, and his furry tail remained where it was before. Inuyasha's hair had grown a little longer and took on a more luminescent shade of white, his skin became a soft pale, the once jagged blue markings across his cheeks were now straight and crimson, the arrancar's eyes had also changed with the sclera turning red and his iris turning a bright practically glowing yellow, and finally a long white fluffy boa was loosely draped across his broad shoulders. It was a much more feral look compared to his previous form; he looked like what one would imagine when picturing a dog demon.

"What is this form, what have you done?" Haschwald questioned in confusion, he had never heard of an arrancar doing anything like this.

"Think of it as a second release, or the arrancar equivalent of a Bankai", Inuyasha said examining his enemy who now seemed so much smaller.

"There's no such thing", The Quincy didn't want to believe that such a thing was possible, but the truth was literally staring him in the face and making it hard to breath with his monstrous reiatsu. "I don't know what you hoped to achieve now, but you've made a grave mistake in discarding your weapon", he commented after noticing the large curved blade that he was using before disappeared. Inuyasha titled his head like a curious dog at his enemy's foolishness.

"Ask yourself one question, why would I get rid of my sword?", Suddenly Haschwald nearly fell over in pain as four large gashes appeared on his back before he could even register what happened. Turning around he saw Inuyasha standing behind him flicking blood off his claws in a bored fashion.

"When did he?"

"The answer to that question is simple; I don't need my sword anymore", Inuyasha said staring down his opponent.

Wow this is the longest chapter I've written for this story. Inuyasha now looks like a cross between dog and man in his second stage, I wanted to give him something cool that would be kind of like a dog demon. Haschwald is the Balance, I'm almost sure that's what his schrift stands for, as for his power I'm still confused over, so I made something up that kind of makes sense.

On another note I decided to do a third installment to Eclipse. This story will not have any structured story arc, but will instead be a series of sort of one shots that focus on Inuyasha in the world of Bleach. Basically it will consist of stories of his life in Hueco Mundo, Las Noches, the seventeen months he watched over Ichigo and after the Quincy War. Things like him meeting and interacting with different characters, faces from the past returning 'cough' Sesshomaru 'cough'. As a small teaser I have one where Kenpachi manages to find Inuyasha and they fight. So if anyone has any ideas of which characters Inuyasha could interact with please let me know.
