I am so sorry it has been a few months since I updated. I lost interest, been working on other stories, busy trying to get my Algebra 1 grade back to an 'A', and trying to finish the endless assignments I get at school.

There is this girl in my class that gave us an extra assignment and asked for a test over a chapter we have never read in Geography, reminded the teacher about EOC notes and asked for another test in American History, and ask for quizzes and assignments in Physical Science. She goes on and on about how she's the only one in her Algebra 1A class that gets her homework done, but that's because she does all of it first hour instead of doing the actual assignment.

Sorry for my rant, I needed to let it out. Here is the next chapter! I know I said I would have all of their time in New Domino City in one chapter, but I'm going to break it up to two chapters. Also thinking about changing the rating to 'T'.

Again, I'm sorry for the wait.

Disclaimer-I don't own Zexal or 5D's.

Luckily, all the students arrived thirty minutes early so they were able to leave at four-thirty instead of five. Most of the students and teacher fell asleep less than five minutes after being on the bus. There were only students two students awake and they were, of course, Shark and Luna.

"Can't sleep?" Shark whispered to the girl laying on him. (Mr. Kay had allowed them to sit together surprisingly.)

She shook her head. "Guess I'm just nervous going back. It feels like it's been years since I left, but it hasn't even been a month."

"Do you even want to go back? It's not required to go."

"I wanted to see Martha." Luna confessed. "She's the only reason I wanted to go back."

"Who's Martha?"

"She is Yusei's, Jack's, and Crow's orphanage mother. She is a very generous old lady who take cares of these kids in the Satellite. Martha's also a nurse. She saved Yusei's life when he got into a wreck, but it wasn't as bad as Kari's."

"I would love to meet her."

Luna yawned as she looked up at him. "I was hoping you would but just a heads up, she will be teasing us for dating."

Shark stayed silent for a few moments, stroking her hand. "Why do you not want to go back?"

"Too many bad memories," she answered honestly. "When I lived there, it felt like I was being attacked at least once a week because of. . . you know."

He nodded. "So then when you go back. . ."

"I'm afraid that I'll get attack and the people around me will get hurt." Luna explained. "I just want to protect them."

"Hmm." Shark hummed in thought. "Don't you think that's the reason why she left the city? To protect you."

"I never thought about it like that," she admitted as she yawned again.

"Get some sleep," he chided. "I'll wake you up when the suns up."

"You're not going to?"

He shook his head. "Once I'm awake I can't go back to sleep."

She nodded weakly and in less than a minute, Shark could hear her snoring peacefully. "I'm assuming you didn't tell her." a voice said in the seat in front of him.

"No, I didn't Rio," he confirmed sharply. "I don't have the heart to."

"But you can tell her you love all the time?" Rio countered as she appeared from the seat. "You're going to end up killing her."

"No I'm not," he insisted angrily. "I won't."

Five short hours later they made it to the Neo Domino City borders. Thirty long minutes later they have pulled in to the Duel Academy. Sensing her nervousness, Shark held Luna's hand. "It's going to be okay," he whispered in her ear. "It's just going to be for three days."

"But I've changed since I left," she muttered as they got off the bus with the other students. "What if they hate me now?"

"Then they are stupid." Shark stated bluntly as he snaked his arms around her waist and sat his chin on her shoulder. "Who could hate you?"

"The Dark Signers, Barians-"

"You know what I mean." He said as they ignored what the teachers were saying. "Don't forget, I love you."

Luna smiled as she leaned her head up to peck his cheek. "I love you too."

"Alright you two," Mr. Kay called them out. "Drop the PDA and pay attention."

"Yes, Mr. Kay," they mumbled but Shark kept his arm around her waist as he held her close from behind.

"As I was saying, we will be joining the school here in learning about dueling," he continued. "Tomorrow last hour there will be a duel between a student from our school and a student from theirs. Now, shall we join their class?"

"Yeah, and get bombarded with questions," Luna mumbled to Shark. He kissed her temple reassuringly as they began to walk into the school.

"Leo!" Patty, Leo's girlfriend, exclaimed as she jumped out of her seat to hug her boyfriend. "What are you doing here?"

"The new school Luna and I are going to is the one that was coming here," he explained as he hugged her back and addressed the rest of his class, who had went over to greet their old friend. "It's great to be back for a visit, but I am liking my new school, though I've only been there for a couple weeks."

"Where's your sister?" someone in the back asked. "Did she not come?"

"No, she's here," he insisted. "You probably don't recognize her because she has her hair down and for once isn't wearing an outfit that is similar to mine."

"Shut up, Leo." Luna told him as she 'magically' appeared. Nervously, she addressed her old classmates. "So. . . I guess we're back?"

"That you are," Miss Bartlet commented. "How has things been at your new home?"

"Good." Leo answered for his sister. "Luckily, we made some new friends on the first day. But that was only because Luna met someone who had showed her to school and us invited to lunch with his friends. About a week later the two became boyfriend and girlfriend."

"So you got yourself a boyfriend," Sly said snidely to Luna. "Who would want to date you?"

"Someone who's way better than you," Luna and Leo retorted at the same time. "That includes both dueling and personal skills."

"I'll take that as a compliment, Leo," Shark said jokingly to him and kissed Luna's cheek while holding her from behind. He looked up to see all of the New Domino students staring at him like he was a ghost. "You got a problem with me?"

"Actually, I do," Patty fessed up. "What makes you think you're good enough for my best friend?"

Luna flinched when she heard that which Shark felt. He held her closer as he said, "Because unlike the others, I'm here."

"Alright," Mr. Kay intervened. "That's enough-"

"But it's true," Sly went on, not listening to the teacher. "She has bad taste in guys. One of them was the enemy in disguise that ended up trying to destroying her and the other signers-"

"'Other'?" Tori caught as she stepped to the front of her classmates. "What do you mean? She's not a signer. Her brother is."

The identical twins looked at each other. They hadn't thought about their old friends telling her secret. They had hoped they wouldn't say anything at all.

"She's a signer too." Sly continued smugly. "Luna became a signer a couple years before Leo did. The only reason he did become one is because the Crimson Dragon took pity on him, which is less pathetic than her being one. No wonder that idiot lie-"

In one quick movement, he was knocked onto the ground by a forceful shove. Towering over Sly, who had a hand on his arm, was a pissed off Shark. His eyes were wide and filled with hatred while his face showed his anger; his teeth clenched hard and his nostrils flared uncontrollably. His arm was trembling as his fist was clenched tightly.

Shark grabbed Sly by his throat and slammed him onto a near by desk. Shark growled, "Take that back!"

"Take what back?" The stupid boy asked innocently.

"Shark, stop it!" Mr. Kay yelled at him as pulled on his arm.

Shark shrugged it off harshly and tightened his grip and slammed the boy against the poor abused desk again. "Take back what you said about Luna and Leo!" he barked.

Sly glared at him, challenging him arrogantly, trying to hide the fact he was losing his breath. "Or else. . . . ?"

As an answer, Shark punched square in the face, efficiently breaking Sly's nose. Before he could do anymore damage, Mr. Kay pulled him a few feet away. "That's enough!" The teacher shouted at him forcefully. After a couple minutes Shark stopped resisting and finally calmed down. He glanced slowly over to his friends to see a look of fearfulness in their eyes, except for Luna's, whose was hard to read. Meanwhile Sly continued to cough while holding his blood gushing nose.

Miss Bartlet, who decided to take control over the other students, addressed the twins. "Will you two take your new classmates and show them around campus?" She looked at the group behind them. "I think it would be best if you join in learning with us tomorrow. Mr. Kay will accompany you along with your friend after we discuss a suitable punishment for him. If the tour is finished before school ends, then you all should head to the hotel your staying at for your visit."

Leo led his acquaintances out the door and to the hallway with a distraught Luna by his side.

Over thirty minutes later Shark and Mr. Kay joined them with the tour almost done. After Shark explained why he did what he did with them privately, the teachers agreed to give him only lunch and dinner detention for the day, has to stay by Mr. Kay's side until they were at the hotel, and cannot have any PDA with Luna until 'tomorrow'. There was only one time that he moved away from Mr. Kay, but only for a moment.

Shark had stopped Luna for a second, whispered in her ear, "I need to tell you important something, tonight," and kissed her softly on the cheek before returning to where he was supposed to be, making her wonder what it could be.

Around midnight almost everyone was in their respective rooms with the identical twins being in their old apartment asleep. Almost.

Luna sneaked downstairs, in a red spaghetti-strapped nightgown with the necklace over it, trying not to wake up her peaceful snoring brother. As she made it to the door there was a soft on the wooden door. She opened it up immediately and smiled lightly at her boyfriend, who was wearing dark blue pajama bottoms and a white T-shirt that had the embroidery of a shark on the bottom. Luna opened the door wider inviting the boy in.

He walked over to the couch and sat waiting for his girlfriend to sit beside him. She sat parallel to him as she laid her legs on the furniture as well. Shark observed her features as he whispered,"You're beautiful."

Luna blushed lightly at the compliment given to her. "Thank you, Shark. But why did you-"

"Do you love me?"

She was slightly taken by his sudden question. "Wh-"

"I mean do you truly love me," he explained. "Will you love me no matter what? If I die or become the enemy will you love me then?"

"Reginald," Luna breathed out as she held his face in her hands and leaned their foreheads together so they would touch. "No matter what I will always love you and only you. If you die, then there would be nothing left for me to go on. I truly, honestly, love you. Nothing can change that."

He leaned his head forward and kissed her briefly before pulling away from her completely to where they were no longer touching. Luna's smile changed into a frown quickly. "What's wrong?" she whispered so quietly she could barely hear herself say it.

Shark gave her a guilty look. "Luna, I love you so much, but I've been keeping a secret from you too."

She nodded for him to continue and he sighed as he let it all out.

"I'm a Barian and the leader."

Cliffhanger!
