Hey guys! Happy New Year, first of all. Secondly, I have been asked a few times about when I am going to be finishing this. Honestly I have no idea. I was originally planning to make it like 10 chapters and then make lots of mini-fics about the aventures that Abby is going to have with the Avengers, but then I realized 10 chapters was too short. This may end up being like 15-20 chapters (I hope no more than 20). I still have 2 or 3 big events I want to happen in this story (they are sooooooo not going to fit in a mini-fic), so hopefully I can fit it in these last couple of chapters. That just means that everyone will have more to look forward to!

Tony: Oh, joy.

Me: Shut up, Tony. You're drunk.

Tony: Nope, just fighting a massive hangover...

Pepper: That's what you get for throwing 5 New Years parties over the course of three weeks.

Tony: *mumbles incoherently*

Pepper: Wait, what was that?

Tony: Nothing.

Pepper: Thought so.

Me: Well, enjoy the chapter!

Natasha and Clint looked over on the other side of the cafeteria in disbelief. They saw Pepper and Abigail holding a full-fledged conversation that did not include arguing, sassiness, or complaints. Pepper was even holding Zach and exclaiming about how cute the little 7-month-old was. The two kept laughing and talking the whole time, and it seemed as if nobody could ruin their day so far.

"What. The. Fuck." was all that Clint said out of amazement. "Neither of them are complaining about men."

Natasha shook her head. "I cannot believe that Pepper can stand her! That little punk is irritating, sassy, and whiny! How can Pepper deal with it? She can barely deal with Tony!"

"It's called 'being friendly', Agent Romanoff," Fury said as he walked by with his coffee, "Something you may want to look into."

Natasha gave the director a killing look as Clint started (almost) choking on his scrambled eggs in laughter. The ex-Russian glared over at her partner. "What?"

Clint calmed down and answered, "He does have a point, Tasha."

"Do you really want to go there, Clint?"

"Yes."

Natasha raised an eyebrow.

"I'm kidding..." the archer muttered.

"So, what's- oh fuck." Tony said as he came over to sit with the two assassins.

"'Oh fuck' what, Stark?" Natasha asked.

"My girlfriend and the kid she saved are talking."

"And that's bad how?" Clint asked.

"Pepper's probably talking about me." Tony said.

Both assassins raised an eyebrow.

Tony turned to them and threw his hands in the air. "Don't you see what this means? Abigail is going to gossip, which will make Pepper want to gossip, which will in turn ruin my image- Why are you guys not listening to me anymore?"

Natasha turned back to her breakfast while Clint started snickering and pointed behind Tony.

"Pepper is right behind me, isn't she."

The billionaire felt a kiss on his cheek. "Love you too, Tony."

"Hey, I didn't mean any of that. You know that."

"Uh huh, sure Tony."

"Pepper, don't walk away! Pepper! Come on!"

"Not the words I want to hear, Tony!" she called behind her, not even bothering to turn around.

"I'm really unhappy right now. You know what an unhappy Tony does?" Tony asked.

"Says 'I'm sorry' to his oh-so-wonderful girlfriend?" Pepper sassed back.

"I was going to say throw parties..."

Pepper rolled her eyes and went back to Abigail and Zach. Zach was currently eating Abby's hair and not his applesauce.

"Zach, no. Zach, stop. Zach- ow! Don't yank my hair!"

Pepper started laughing. "Want some help?" She started to reach for Zach.

Abby pulled him away. "As much as I want to say yes, I don't want you to get your clothes all dirty."

"Oh, these? It's okay, I have extras. And if I don't, Natasha might have some." Pepper reassured.

Abigail handed the drooling, babbling baby over to Pepper. Peppers eyes brightened, and she started laughing when Zach started pulling and touching her hair.

"Hey there, little guy. How are you?" Pepper cooed.

Over across the cafeteria, Tony, Natasha, and Clint just stared in awe.

"Wow, I never thought that Pepper would be so great with kids, considering she nearly loses her mind with Tony." Clint stated.

"I never thought that Pepper would like Abigail so much." Natasha commented before going back to sipping her milk.

Tony was just staring at his girlfriend.

"Uh, earth to Iron Man." Clint waved hi hand in Tony's face. "Yo, Tony, are you okay?"

Tony blinked and shook his head. "Yeah, no, I'm cool! It's just..." Tony looked back at Pepper. "She looks so happy."

Natasha glanced up at him. "Pepper did say that she did want a family at one point. And she actually likes children. Personally, if she was going to be a mom, she would make a great one." The red-head went back to sipping her milk.

All of a sudden, Rhodey came in holding a piece of paper. He handed it to Tony. "Here are the stupid measurements you wanted. Do you know how difficult it was to get these? And do you know how much time I wasted trying to do this in secret? Tony, are you even-"

"Thanks, Rhodey, you're awesome. Now, if you guys will excuse me, I have extremely important work to do. BRUCE, I HAVE SOMETHING FOR US TO DO! FOR SCIENCE!" With that said (and partially screeched), the billionaire left the cafeteria in a hurry, obviously heading towards the lab that Nick had given him and Bruce on base.

Natasha raised an eyebrow. "What the hell is his deal lately?"

Clint rolled his eyes and muttered something about how Bruce was probably going to regret what Tony wanted to do "for science".

"Yeah, Rhodey, what are those measurements?" Clint asked.

Rhodey rolled his eyes. "They're Pepper's finger measurements."

Natasha choked on her milk while Clint's eyes widened.

"What!?" Natasha exclaimed, obviously surprised.

"If my guess is accurate, I would say it is for a ring." the colonel replied.

"Holy shit..." Clint said.

"What?" Natasha asked him, slightly concerned.

"Tony may or may not have said something about taking this relationship further with Pepper..." he explained while lowering his voice.

"Wow." Natasha said quietly so Pepper wouldn't hear. "I never thought that Tony would have wanted to go that far with her, considering his... history with women."

All of a sudden, Agent Hill ran into the cafeteria.

"Oh my god, it's like a freaking party in here!" Clint yelled.

"Agent Barton, please shut up." Hill said.

Clint raised his hands in a mock surrender.

"What's wrong, Agent Hill?" Natasha asked.

"Loki has escaped his cell." she stated.

Abigail and Pepper looked over.

"HE WHAT?!" Abigail yelled.

"Oh no." Pepper started to panic, holding Zach tighter.

"Everyone calm down. Miss Parkington, Miss Potts, we have to get you to a safe area." Hill started to explain.

And then, the lights went out.

CLIFFHANGER DUH DUH DUUUUUUUUUUUUUH! Yeah, so I am sorry for the late chapter. I have been busy with lots of things: band, national honors society, helping the Avengers get back Loki from a slightly-crazy fangirl, AP Psychology (which I was technically done with a week ago), and AP US (which started last Tuesday). Also, for those of you who want to know or maybe did know you wanted to know, I am on Tumblr! The link to my tumblr is on my profile. At some point, I will put sneak peeks of stories or upcoming characters on there, so yeah...

Also, I want to give some of you guys an opportunity to do some art if you want. I trust you guys to not go and say "THIS IS MY CHARACTER LOOOOK!", so I am going to allow this: if anyone thinks "I might wanna draw this scene!" or "I wanna do art of her characters!", message me on here or Tumblr and I will give you a description of Abigail (if needed) and you can make art.

I am on deviantArt (my name is SaxophoneChick) as well, so you guys can post it there or on Tumblr (just tag it with #musicalpanda97, or you can message me when it's up) and show me. You can link it to me in a message and I will probably thank you a million times for the wonderful art people do ('cause I cannot draw for the life of me). Just message me a) before you make the art and b) when it's done (so I can see the beautiful art!). So, if anyone takes that opportunity, enjoy!

Also, THANK YOU TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE FAVOURITED/FOLLOWED ANYTHING THAT I HAVE WRITTEN! I LOVE YOU ALL, AND EVERY TIME I GET AN EMAIL NOTIFICATION THAT SAYS THAT SOMEONE SOMEWHERE HAS FAVOURITED A STORY (OR EVEN ME), IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I'M DOING SOMETHING RIGHT! :'D I LOVE ALL OF YOU GUYS SO MUCH WHEN YOU DO THAT BUT IN A NOT CREEPY WAY! IT'S KINDA LIKE THE WAY A CELEBRITY LOVES THEIR FANS, BUT I'M NOT A CELEBRITY.

No, but seriously guys, I'm not that funny. And my grammar kinda sucks. But I appreciate everyone's kindness and support! :D:D:D:D:D:D

And now I must go help the Avengers make a plan to save Loki (Abigail and I still don't know why they would want to), so enjoy and everyone have a great day!

And if you are still reading at this point, I'm impressed you have put up with me for this long.

Enjoy! :)
