CHAPTER 10: Slumber Party
[AUTHOR'S NOTE]
… 5 years ago I posted this story, the 8th of March marks the exactly 5 years ago when I Posted this story! Its insane when I think about how much time has passed since than. And even crazier that Nier Automata has just been released! HOPEFULLY with the recent surge in Nier interest we may see some more fan fics in the future. As usual, comment on this chapter and leave feed back for the next.
And yes, the NEXT chapter will contain their first sexual encounter. Viewer discretion advised.

[Nier's POV]
Kaine & I silently approached the front door, and she pulled out the key to our room.
"… I guess were here….Yea" Kaine quietly mutters & opens the door.
As we both walked in, It was than that I had an epiphany; why are we both being so cautious? Its not like we NEVER hanged out before at a late hour. Sure, I walked in on her that one time… But we've actually gone passed that, if anything we've certainly gotten closer since than, heck we were fine at the hot spring! so why now?
In a way, I knew why I was a little on edge, I was starting to develop some feelings for her. However on my end, it was more sexual than anything platonic; she was a buxom woman with curves to match; plus a few years older than me...as for myself, I was a small kid with an older attractive woman. Couldn't help but be a little awed an intimidated.
But she's just my friend, and I'm sleeping over for the night, nothing weird here.
So why was SHE just as edge as I was? Does she maybe…?
"Nier!" Kaine's voice broke me out of my train of thought.
I looked up, "Whats up?"
"Gonna use the bathroom to freshen up, be back" Kaine closed the bathroom behind her.
I finally got to take a good look at our room. It was similar to the room I shared with Emil, when I noticed the…. Box thing (Television, they called it?) with the VHS player and tapes above them that was used Millennia ago...
During our week stay here, I asked her earlier what it was she was...watching. That's when she told me about This VHS device that played recorded movies inside of them. Ever since she discovered them from that creepy shop keep, she began obsessively watch them on her free time, and not JUST for the Pornography. She seemed to have rented all these different films with gore and violence, even a few sappy ones (wouldn't have pegged Kaine for romance).
I picked up some of the tapes and looked over them. Some of these 'movies' looks kind of cool, maybe we could….
I couldn't help but smile, this was perfect! We can stay up and have a sleepover! Hey! This can turn out to be a fun night after all!
[KAINE'S POV]
My back was against the bathroom door, and I slowly slid to the floor, rapping my arms around my shoulders.
In my mind I was freaking out, I needed to calm down...It was only Nier for Christ's sake!
'FUCK! If only I had some freaking alcohol to calm my nerves right freaking no-'
I looked up and saw 3 bottles of wine in a bucket with melting ice that kept them cool. There WERE originally 6, but I drank them all within the last 2 nights… the previous three bottles were empty, scattered across the floor with the cork remover.
Since Nier discovered my secret... I have gotten 'better' knowing Nier wasn't gonna leave me, but I was still worried. To keep up appearances, I would drink heavily just before our daily seafront mission routine for some extra courage. It helped me deal with Nier….and the perks of fucking up monsters when you were just about buzzed was a HUGE plus…
Crawling on all fours, I reach for the bucket, grabbed the cork remover, and opened one of the bottles with a satisfying 'pop'. I pressed my lips and began to drink the wine in big gulps. Some of the wine escaped my mouth, and it ran down my neck down to my breasts. 'Freshening up' MY ASS.
I stop drinking momentarily to breath.
'Maybe I can drink all of them and just pass out without having to deal with...' I took another swig.
Without warning, I hear Nier's voice in the other room, "Hey Kaine! Could we watch some of your movies? We can stay up for a bit and hang out some more!"
He wanted to watch some of those movies with me?
"Cmon, Kaine! I didn't realize you'd be the type to back out of a challenge!
I dunno if the alcohol was kicking in, or the fact that this KID thinks he's superior or some SHIT. You know what? Fuck it, I m feeling up for it,
I stood up, got up my feet, and approached the door, with bottle in hand.
I opened the door, and looked directly at Nier
"Lets fucking DO it"
[Narrator's POV]
12:30am
Minutes later, Kaine & Nier were laying in bed watching action films during the course of the night. Many of their initial inhibitions melted away as they watched some of the films on hand, and began enjoying themselves.
[NIER's POV]
We were watching this so called 'action flick' and we couldn't help but laugh at how AWFUL it was. One of the characters got his head sliced off; and the head was clearly a dummy…
Kaine was wiping her eye's, "haven't laughed that hard in freaking forever!" Kaine was about to take a drink from her bottle when she stopped, and looked at Nier.
"You want some?" Kaine asked, pointing the bottle at Nier's general direction.
"Uh...I never really had a drink before" I answered honestly.
"Seriously? FUCK that, were breaking that TONIGHT" Kaine forces the bottle onto Nier.
"I dunno if I should do this Kaine, its a bit…?"
Kaine was starting to look angrier, "Dont be such a FUCKING BITCH about it! Its just fucking wine! I Drank TONS aND Imm absoluBly jusbt FINE!" Kaine slurred.
Nier Sighed
[Narrator's POV]
2:00am
After much coaxing, Nier began to drink the wine from time to time at this point, it was nearly 2 in the morning, and both Nier and Kaine were clearly inebriated. Both of them were laying in opposite ends of the bed, staring at the TV screen, which wasn't playing any film.
Nier, who was on the right side of the bed, placed his head on his pillow, and was attempting to sleep on his side, opposite of Kaine. She couldn't help but look over at Nier, who was only wearing a white T-shirt & boxer sorts. Her eye lingered on Nier's delicate, firm ass. Kaine felt something stirring in her groin. Her face, flushed with alcohol, began moving towards him
"….. Nier, can I ask you something?"
