Chapter 10

BPOV

3 weeks later

I had been hunting, in my panther form when I came across a beautiful meadow. it was a rare sunny day in Forks and I lay down to relax. I hadn't talked to the Cullen's for three weeks. I missed my debates with Rose, pranking Emmett, chatting with Edward and I hadn't even met Carlisle and Esme yet. I didn't know if I would last another week. If they didn't speak by tomorrow I would take matters into my own hands. I froze when I heard rustling behind the bushes on the other side of the meadow. I stood up on all four and took a long breath trough my nose. Vampire. To bee more exact, Edward. He stepped out from behind the bushes and crouched down growling.

Well damn he looked hot! Then the situation dawned on me.

'Don't you dare eat me, vampire. Or I'll have to kick your ass' he froze in shock, I bet no other animal has threatened him before. He straightened up from his crouch.

'Good. Now I'll leave and won't follow' I turned around 'bye' taking off trough the forest. I couldn't hear him following me so I shifted back to my shifter form whilst running. I was back home in seconds. How was it that they always interrupted my hunting trips? I didn't sleep that night, too hyped up from the hunting trip, a regular occurrence for me. So I sat at my piano the whole night. I parked a few spaces down from the silver Volvo when I got to the school parking lot. I would give him today. If he didn't talk to me before I would talk to him, and possibly smack him upside the head to make my point more clear.

As expected the Cullen's didn't talk to me, so Edward should be prepared for a beating tomorrow, and to promise me to never ignore me again. The day passed slowly. When I lay down in bed to finally get some sleep I was exhausted. I would speak to the Cullen's tomorrow, but I was careful to not make nay decisions, in case Alice would see me.

When I woke up I took a shower before leaving for school. The school day passed slowly but then finally it was lunch. I went to the food line and bought an apple before heading to the Cullen table. Alice's head snapped up to meet my gaze and a small smile played on her face. All the rest of them turned to me when they noticed Alice. I stopped in front of them. And so I began my rant, in a voice that only they could hear.

"Okay. Time to stop ignoring me! I've gracefully given you a month… or at least nearly a month. Get over your self! I freaking know that you are vampires" at this their eyes widened. "And I know about Alice seeing the future, jasper controlling emotions and Edward reading minds. So stop the hell avoiding me!" I finished by smacking Edward upside the head, just like I planned.

"Aah… that felt good!" the Cullen's sat there staring at me. Mouths hanging open, eyes wide. They looked like dead fish.

"Look out for flies" they all snapped their mouth shut. Not even Emmett had anything to say. I slowly started to feel more irritated, and jasper feeling my emotions snapped out of his shock and sent out a wave of calm to me. I smirked at him.

"How the heck did you know that?" Emmett finally managed to ask.

"Well I hope you noticed that I'm not entirely normal-""What are you, Bella?" Emmett cut me off. I laughed at him.

"You didn't tell me you're vampires… so I'm not going to tell you what I am either" 'Good luck figuring out' I sent out to all of them. Their eyes widened again. I snickered.

"You'll should have seen your faces" they looked at me like I was crazy… witch I probably am, so who cares.

"Give us a hint!" Emmett whined.

"I haven't had enough slip ups already?!" I sighed. "Okay sure. Watch!" I met their eyes and let my eyes flash purple. They all gasped.

"What was that?" Edward asked. 'What was what?' I smiled innocently.

'Don't you dare have a silent conversation with her, Edward!' I snickered before surprising them again.

"Sorry Alice."

"You can read minds?!" I nodded. Emmett groaned.

"Not another one!" he whined playfully.

"How is it that I can only catch glimpses of your thoughts?" Edward asked.

'I like my privacy' "just like that!" 'Well it's easy to block you. I could block Jasper, but that's not important' "class starts soon. Bye guys!" I stood up and walked to biology. Edward was already sitting at our lab table when I sat down. 'Eager are we?' 'I have a lot of questions' he smirked. I sighed. I guess I knew that they would have tons of questions; after all I knew that they were vampires. How do you explain that?!

'How long have you know about us?'

'Since I first saw you' his eyes widened. 'You and your family are not the first vampires I have met' he nodded. 'My family and I wondered if you would come over to our house after school.' 'Sure!'

'Okay, where is your grandmother?' 'Who?' 'Your grandmother?!' 'Oh… I don't have a grandmother, I live alone, but I wanted to enrol in high school so I had to have a guardian' 'how old are you Bella?' 'Older than you' 'you don't even know how old I am' 'not really, but I'm guessing somewhere around a hundred, or so?' 'Yes actually, but how old are you?' 'A hundred and seventy… give or take a couple of years.' I didn't think his eyes could get any bigger, but I guess I was wrong. 'People are staring at you' his jaw snapped shut. But he still kept staring at me. 'Anymore questions?' 'Only a hundred or two'

"Krhmm… Mr. Cullen and Miss Swan class is over" I looked around and was shocked to find the class room empty.

"Sorry sir" I said before gathering my things and walking out of there. I could feel Edward behind me. There weren't any humans around so I took of in a speed that could easily match with vampires, and left a shocked Edward behind me… again.
