An: Tada. So, here is chapter 10 for mated.

Mark

I can't lose Faria, I thought. As, I drove I started talking to the sleeping cupid. "Hey, Faria." I said, hoping that she would say something. "Do you remember when we first met. You saved me from Tommy when we were 16?" I asked her. " I do it's like it happened just yesterday."

Flash back

Mark

"Freak!" Tommy yelled, I cowered trying to get away from the schools bad boy.

"Why don't you leave him alone Tommy."A girl's voice said, I looked up to a girl with light brown hair and blueish greenish eyes, they were so beautiful they weren't more blue than green or the other way around, but they were blue with flecks of green.

"Stay out of this, Faria." Tommy told her, walking up to her.

"Why should I?" She asked. "Just leave him alone."

"I will." Tommy said, he then confused both of us, by taking Faria's hand in his. "If you go out me."

This is it. I thought, who wants to date Tommy? She's going to leave for sure. I looked at her, waiting for her to leave.

"Fine, you have a deal." She said, "Your friend Jack has my number, you can get it from him. Now leave." She told him. Tommy nodded and left.

"You didn't have to do that." I told her.

"I know." She said, "I wanted to. I'm Faria Cameron."

"Mark Bison." I said, "Um... Thank you, for helping me."

"No problem, Mark." She told me. "See you around." She then turned around and left.

End Flash back

Mark

That was the best day of my life. Meeting Faria, the girl who went out with the most undesirable boy in school, just to keep him from picking on me. We became friends after that.

"M-Mark?" Faria mumbled pulling me out of my thoughts.

"I'm here." I said.

"I w-would do i-it again." She said.

"Do what again?" I asked.

"F-fight for y-you." She replied, taking a hold of my hand.

"You would?" I asked.

"I-in a h-heart beat." She said, passing out again.

"No, Faria." I said, "Stay awake, stay with me. I love you." I confessed, keeping a hold of her hand.

Isaac

"I wonder what's taking Derek so long?" I asked Deucalion, who was obviously as worried about Derek as much, or more than I was. "I'm sure he's fine, though." I added.

"Yeah, he can protect himself." Deucalion said, pacing back and forth in the main part of Derek's loft. "I just won't be able to rest untill, I see that he's ok." He said, still pacing the floor.

"What if she is lying to us?" I asked him.

"Then we deal with it." He said.

"What if she lied to us, about who our mates are?" I asked him. "What if that's what that potion does, is allow her to lie to us about who our mates are?"

"I don't know." He answered. "All I can say is that, if she has lied to us, we will have to find a way to deal with it."

"Okay." I said, sitting down at the small table, that Derek uses as a desk.

Deucalion

Where are you, Derek? I thought, it shouldn't take him this long to get back from that clinic. I was getting ready to go check on him, when someone knock on the door. I looked to Isaac who nodded, I answered the door and looked around there was no one there.

I was about to close the door, when I felt a hand weakly grab my ankle. "H-help m-me." Someone whispered. I looked down to see a girl, with light brown hair looking weakly up at me with these eyes that were blue with flecks of green, but what really caught my attention was the pure white dove wings, coming from her back.

"Of, course." I told, the young cupid.

Nati

"You lied to us!" Derek shouted.

"So, what." I said, staring him down. He let me go, so I could at least stand up, but he's been watching me like a hawk.

"We trusted you." He said.

"I don't care." I told him. "I did what I came to do. Now that you know the truth, I'll have to kill my sister a little faster than I would have like to."

"Let her go, Nati." Deaton said. "What did she do to you?" He asked.

"What has she done!" I shouted. "Everything! She ruined my life, I was supposed to be the light cupid not her!"

"That's not for you to decide." He told me. "That was fates doing. It looks into you soul and chooses for you."

"It's not fair!" I shouted, "After that night, she was the center of attention. Mom and Dad loved her, and hated me!" I spat.

Flashback

Nati

"Nati!" My father yelled. "You should be happy for your sister."

"I am." I told him. "I just wish that, you would stop treating me differently."

"You are different Nati." My father said. "You are evil, and your sister is pure. That is all that matters now."

"You don't mean that." I said, fighting back tears. "Mom tell me, that he's joking?" I begged.

"I'm afraid not." My mother said, cradling my sister and stroking her wings while she slept.

"Pack your bags." My father said, " You are to leave and never come back."

"Dad, please?" I begged, unable to hold back my tears any longer I started to cry.

"You're not our daughter anymore." He said, "Now, leave. Deaton will find you a new home."

I ran to the room I shared with my sister and cried as I packed the small black duffel bag that was sitting on my bed.

End flashback.

Nati

"They kicked me out, because of her." I said, tears threatened to spill as unpleasant memories filled my head.

"That wasn't her fault." Deaton said.

"Of course it isn't." I spat. "She's just little miss perfect, isn't she."

"No one is perfect." He said.

"Are you going, to let me go?" I asked.

"Sure, Derek will you please move out of her way?" He asked.

"You're just going to let her leave?" He asked.

"For now." Deaton said.

"I don't have time for this." I said, I stepped up to Derek, and thrust my hands towards him with enough strength and force to tear his flesh. I picked him up and conveniently threw him onto the exam table, before leaving I turned to Deaton, who was already tending to Derek's wounds. "I'll tell Faria, that you said goodbye." I left the building, laughing.
