Luna cast a glance at him as he demonstrated a fighting move, she found herself smiling, watching the other guys try it out, but no one doing it like Riku. Her eyes darted back to the girls who were talking about who knows what, she couldn't understand there conversations as easily as Riku's, he was different.

'Why can I talk to him so easily?' she thought absently, forgetting about who she was currently talking to.

Riku glance over to her, sitting there in her own little world, something was fascinating about her, he didn't know what she could be thinking about, he couldn't even hear their conversation.

Riku felt sorry for her, sorry she lost so much, sorry she wouldn't open up. It pained him, in a strange way. He wanted to help, but she would just smile, and shake her head no.

He found his mind was as far away from the guys as possible, the thought of Luna was consuming. He always was trying to figure out how to help her, if there was a way he'd find it.

Luna sighed inwardly as he turned away from her. 'Ohh, I want to talk to him, to let him know I'd rather hang with him...Alright, I'm going, please God don't let me ruin this!' She stood up and smiled at the girls, and went towards him.

Riku was staring at the ground, not listening anymore to the guys, his thoughts filled with her.

Sora looked up and saw Luna walking towards them, but her eyes were focused on Riku, he tapped Riku's shoulder. Riku looked at Sora, slightly irritated. Then followed where Sora was pointing, to see Luna, holding her hand out and smiling.

Riku looked at her face, then her hand and grabbed it, and pulled his self up. Allowing her to drag him away, Everyone else stared as the two left, the girls came over, and watched too.

Kairi sighed and said, "Those two have got it bad." Everyone else nodded, except Sora who looked at them all confused. "Got what? The flu?" Everyone sighed and shook there heads.

Riku found his self smiling as they walked on the shoreline, she was guiding him to the other side of the island, he could guess she wanted to be alone with him, he couldn't help but wonder if there were other friends were she used to live.

When they entered the other side she released his hand and ran forwards, giggling and smiling as she twirled in the broad daylight. He couldn't help but chuckle at her, she was strange, not caring what others thought, just enjoying what life gave her.

They eventually stopped spinning and landed on there backs in the sand, laughing and smiling. He rolled over and his laughing died to a small chuckle, and hers a giggle. She was a puzzle, a mystery to him, one he was determined to figure out. The look in her eyes showed pain, but her eyes also showed caring.

"So, what made you take me away?" Riku asked.

She blushed slightly and said -a a bit timidly-. "I-I wanted to be with just you, if not for a minute." He stared at her confused, as she continued. "No offense to Kairi and Selphie, but...I wasn't having much fun, I just wanted to be alone with you, for awhile." She now had her head turned, with a blush over her face.

Riku blinked, trying to register what had just come out of Luna's mouth. "Huh?" was the only thing he said. He thought if she was with others, girls who would probably understand her better them him, she'd be happier. Not like he told her not to come near him, he just said to try and befriend Selphie and Kairi, he didn't know she wasn't enjoying herself...Now he felt like a idiot.

She stood up and went towards the water and stared out, he got up and followed suit and stared at the ocean too. "I'm sorry." He said, causing her to turn her head towards him.

"I'm sorry if you didn't like being with Kairi and Selphie."
She shook her head and smiled while placing a hand on his shoulder and said gently. "Riku, its not that...Its just, if I had the choice of them or you, I'd pick you." He turned his head to hers smiled and thought.
