"Ahhh…" Jack started to say as his wings dropped flat on his back. "This- this.."
They just stared at his shocked. North had a cookie hanging from his mouth, half eaten, Bunny the same but with a carrot. Tooth had her cup of tea frozen at her mouth to stun to move. The only one that didn't seemed to be fazed was Sandy. He floated up and to Jacks back. He stared at the gauzy limps and then grabbed the tips of the top two and pulled them up fully extending them. Jack also too shocked to move suddenly pulled back and turned around to face Sandy, an angry looked affixed to his face.
"Don't touch." Jack said, his wings buzzed in agitation.
This snapped the shock from the other guardians.
"Soo pretty! They look like dragon fly wings." Tooth said
"Jack, vhy did you not tell us this?" North said
Bunny just started laughing "What's with the Fairy wings, Frostbite?" he said
Jack was still glaring at Sandy and didn't hear North's and Tooth's comments, but when Bunny said 'Fairy' Jack stiffened. Turning to face Bunny Jack walked over very calmly "I will say this once and only once, I am not a fairy. These are not butterfly wings, I was not made from a flower and do I look like I'm six inches tall? No I'm not. If I'm not a spirit I am a sprite, got it?" Bunny just nodded. And Tooth elbowed him in the ribs for laughing at Jack like that.
Jack took a deep breath to calm down, and then put his sweatshirt that was in his hands back on covering his beautiful wings. "Look guy, I ah… didn't tell you cause well, I'm not entirely used to telling those that don't already know about me, most either already know these things about me or they don't care about it, some are both though. Anyways I just so used to people already knowing about things that I guess I just forget to tell other about things." Jack said, deciding to use the least embarrassing reason for not telling the guardians about his wings, and prayed that they never found out about the other stuff.
"That is vine Jack, but know that we want to know things about you so please, no more secrets, yes?" North said
"Of course, no more secrets, Jack said with his fingers crossed behind his back 'there are things that the guardians will never know about me, if I have any say in the matter.'
