I haven't done anything to this story for a long time now, so I decided to get back to it.
Go ahead and tell me off if this chapter isn't as good as the previous ones. But I hope this okay...enjoy!

Chapter 10
The Awakening Begins!
"We'll find him after you get stronger. We'll get stronger together OK?"
"Okay!"
"Good Night, Loki-chan!"
"Night, Chi-chan!"
Loki licked my forehead before I fell in a nice quiet peaceful sleep.

I woke up feeling strangly tired the next morning, I rolled out of bed and tumbled onto the floor. I winced and rubbed my head. I got up and walked sleepily out of my room.
"Morning Chi-chan!" Loki purred.
"Morning Loki –chan." I groggily answered.
Loki glanced at me concern showing in his eyes. "What's the matter?"
"Nothing really I'm just really tired and my head hurts it's nothing though so don't worry about it."
Loki gave me one last look of concern before changing the subject.
"So no training today, okay? I've got to go do something for my kind. I'll be back tonight be ready at seven because I want to show you something. Okay?" Loki informed me once again.
"Right, I hear you now." I replied with a smile.
"Don't go getting yourself into trouble please." He warned me.
"I'll try."
Loki gave me a quick nuzzle on the cheek then turned around and stalked off.
"I'll really try not to get into trouble…"

"Where are you, you little runt!" A loud gruff voice yelled at me. I peaked out from behind the wall to see where the angry tengu was now. Great so much for me 'not getting into trouble.' I looked around the fancy restaurant and saw that he was talking to one of the waitress tengu people who I knew but not in a good way.
"Have you seen a Human girl lurking around here?" He asked him.
He blinked and pointed to a shop that I just been to. But didn't say anything. As long as I stayed hidden I will be fine. I thought to myself. Maybe I should play mute for a while. Then an idea struck me and I got a weird urge. Just this once! I smiled. Okay then time to have some fun!
Just then a bottle was thrown at me from a table across from me. Its shards scattered leaving my crimson blood to flow down my face and chest. I reached up and winced. Never mind, maybe I should get out of here first else I'll get killed here by accident.
I staggered out of the restaurant and wandered off and before I knew it I was standing in a flowery meadow. I took a few deep breaths before sprawling out in the grass. I closed my eyes for a few minutes.

I sighed and sat up. "I should go wash up. I wonder what Loki is going to show me." I talked to myself.
As I made my way through the forest I took out my pony tail and then felt my wounded head, the bleeding had stopped except now I was covered in dried blood. I looked up as I stepped out of the forest and right in front of me where, Shi and his patrol stood.
One of his members looked up when he heard me. He got a frightened look on his face before running away screaming. "It's a dead girl!"
I couldn't help but gin and laugh at this.
Shi and his two other friends turned around to look at me. Their expressions were imaginable. I grinned from ear to ear. Shi shrieked.
"Oh my god, Chihiro are you okay!?" Shi asked trembling from fright.
I smiled. "Never felt better."
"Let's go wash you up! But tell me what happened….and stop smiling you look like a zombie!" Shi demanded me.
I laughed then headed over to a fountain Shi tagging along behind me.
"Nothing happened." I started as I washed my blood off of me.
"Something must have, if nothing were to have happened then you wouldn't be covered in your blood." Shi stated.
"Yea…." I replied letting Shi examine y wound after I washed up. He sat down beside me.
"So?"
"Don't worry it's nothing you need to worry about." I confirmed to him. "Anyways I got to go, it's your choice if you believe me or not."
"Where are you going?" Shi asked puzzled.
"I'm going to go change then meet up with Loki he said he had something to show me tonight." I told him over my back.
I ran up to my bedroom and closed the door. I peaked inside my dresser and pulled out a pair of skinny jeans and a black tank top. I slipped into them. Then I combed my hair and braided it into two French braids. I glanced at the time before heading out the door.

"Chi-chan over here!" Called Loki I turned around and spotted him.
"Hi, how was your day?" I asked walking up to him.
"Pretty good I'd say." Replied Loki with a purr. "Let's get going fallow me."
I followed Loki obediently.
"So…what exactly did you want to show me?" I asked as I walked deeper part of a forest I've never been to before.
Loki stopped abruptly and I tumbled into him.
"Here we are."
I looked ahead to what Loki was looking at and gasped out in awe.
"Wow…"
"This is one of the many trees where ajin like me our born from. They look like giant fruit, but it holds another one of us in it." Loki explained.
"I stared at the gigantic tree for a while longer. "It's beautiful."
"It is indeed. But this isn't what I wanted to show you." Loki continued. "As we've gotten stronger my power has to, and yours is about to awaken also. But a few days ago, I learned something new. Did you know only the special ajin can take human form?" Loki asked.
"Human form? Like me?"
"Yes, but only strongest of the strong are able to transform, and each time one has made it to great extent they are recorded into a special book."
"That's amazing."
Loki nodded. "And this is what I wanted to show you."
Loki Began to glow.
