I am so very sorry for the long delay but I've been having a rough patch in life and season 5 didn't help inspire me to write much, except for that one episode *cough* Moon Madness *cough* so I'm terribly sorry for not updating I hope this makes up for it. anyways…

*previously on I Guess I'm Stuck with You*
She asked "Well, Where's the food?"
Chef gestured to so Garbage cans next to him, "You're lookin' at it. When you're at war you take what you can get!"
Chris looked at the challenge and smirked well I see you've got this under control, see ya later!" Then he left.
Heather and Courtney both refused to eat the garbage. Duncan sat down and watched as Geoff 'apologized' for the underwear pranks. Harold Spit the 'apple juice' out screaming, "That's Not Juice!" Duncan bro-fisted him
"Oh sorry, Geoff must have confused it with the kitchen grease."
"I Hope you're proud of yourselves" Courtney said glaring at Duncan.
"Ok Look, I know you like me," he gestured to Geoff "He knows you like me" then Harold, "He knows you like me, in fact everyone knows it. So here's a tip, if you want to kiss me I might let you."
"And to think for one second I actually thought you were nice!" Courtney shouted.
"Psh" Duncan made a cutting motion with his hand over his neck. "Me nice? Yeah right." He said sarcastically
Geoff who was eating grey bread asked, "Why would you think that?"
Courtney held her hand up, "Never mind, I was wrong, he's just as gross and annoying as he wants you to believe." She Jabbed her hand into her pocket and pulled out a grey i-pod plugging the black ear buds in, closing her eyes, and leaning her chin on the back off her hand ignoring Duncan and Geoff. Duncan looked over to them and smiled like he was hiding something.
Now it Continues…
After giving the contestants a relatively short time to find their food and eat it in the garbage, Chef came in telling them it was time for Night Training. He led them to the beach and he turned on a stereo and walked onto a platform to begin dancing. Everyone copied him to the best of their ability. Geoff walked over to turn the stereo off. The music stopped and every contestant blew out a sigh of relief, especially Duncan and Courtney.
Chef's glaring gaze immediately snapped over to the contestant who dared to do such a thing: "What is the meaning of this Maggot!"
Geoff answered with, "If one of us drops out we're done, right?"
Chef did not like this answer and yelled back, "We're done when I say were done! Now drop and give me twenty!" Geoff immediately dropped to the ground and began the push-ups: "Does anyone else have anything they want to say?"
Gwen raised her hand and asked, "Uh, yeah can I go to the bathroom?" when Chef's glare went from Geoff to her she knew she had made a grave mistake.
"You can and you will clean it until I can see my refection in the floor tiles and it shines like the top of the Chrysler building!" Chef threw her a mop and gloves; he then looked around, "You two," His gaze had settled on Duncan and Courtney, "go with her." He then threw and extra two mops and a set of gloves to them.
Once the three of them got there and Gwen had used the facility she said, "Not what I had in mind."
"Yeah this bites." Duncan agreed.
Courtney responded with, "Think of it this way at least we don't have to try to dance with these things on anymore."
"Good point." was Duncan's answer.
After Chef had finally finished the dancing and the trio had cleaned the bathroom to Chef's satisfaction he took them back into the dining hall for the next challenge.
"You will complete a 300 word essay about how much you love, me." Chef looked them over before raising his voice "Anyone who falls asleep of fails to complete the challenge will be automatically ELIMINATED!"
The time was up and Chef walked around collecting the papers. Harold had not been able to finish writing and when Chef took the paper he mildly cursed with the word "Crap."
Chef picked up Duncan's and began reading it: "I love master chief Hatcher because he is very, very, very, very, very, very, very…" chef than turned to Duncan and said, "This is just one sentence with 5 pages of very in-between."
Duncan smirked and said, "It's 300 words exactly. You can count them if you want."
Owen had been so tired he couldn't close his mouth and ended up drooling, which Chef slipped in his drool. Chef outraged yelled to Owen, "Wipe up that drool you little baby!" He than saw that both Trent and DJ had fallen asleep: "You two slackers are eliminated! The rest of you get to bed and report to the playing field at O'five-hundred hours."
Duncan held up a napkin to Chef as he passed and said, "Missed a spot there, general." referring to the drool that still coated part of Chef's face.
When Chef got closer to Duncan's face he looked completely casual but Courtney on the other hand was not so casual looking. Chef then decided to speak, "Boy, do you want to run fifty laps around this camp right now!?"
"No thanks! we were just leaving, right Duncan?" Courtney spoke up in defense. After Chef scoffed and left she asked Duncan, "What are you trying to do? get eliminated?"
"I didn't know you cared." was his response.
Courtney's eye narrowed, "I don't I just don't want to lose this challenge and every punishment Chef puts on you I'm stuck to you so I'd have to go through it to! So please just to what you're told for once, ok?"
"Well, I guess I'm stuck with you, but that doesn't mean I should necessarily stop messing with Chef."
Courtney just rolled her eyes and they went to go get some sleep before Chef's next challenge.
After everyone still in the game had reported to 'the playing field' they saw an obstacle course: "You will all run this course in until you can run it in under one minute. Am. I. making. myself. CLEAR!"
"Crystal." Duncan said.
"One false move and I'll be on you like stink on a poop wagon." Chef said to Duncan
"I look forward to it, sir!" Duncan responded but then Courtney poked him in the chest and gave him a pointed glare.
"Go Maggots Go!"
The all began running. Duncan helped Courtney over the wall by lifting her up with his hands in a footfold. He turned his head upward and Courtney looked downward to work around the antlers. After Courtney was over the wall, gravity did most of the rest. They then had to get through the tire, avoiding the one that Owen was stuck in Courtney went through first backwards and Duncan then went through forwards. They then had to crawl through the mud one backwards one forwards and stay as low to the ground as possible avoiding the axes. They then both grabbed onto the rope and swung across.
Many of the contestants weren't doing so well. Owen, finally out of the tire, knocked the wall down; Geoff slipped after leaving the tire landing on his back and slowing his time down, Gwen also slipped getting a little mud in her eye; Heather's foot had gotten tied up in the rope leaving her dangling upside-down. Leshawna was crawling through the mud when she started sinking, she frantically tried to get unstuck and continue when Duncan and Courtney were passing her. Duncan decided to open his mouth to say, "Fallen soldier, I salute you!" but after he said it he stopped when Courtney stopped only to see that she had backed right into Chef who was staring down at Duncan.
"You just bought yourself twenty push-ups." Chef dictated down to Duncan.
"Thank you!" Duncan said happily blowing Chef a kiss.
You could practically hear Chef boiling up and the steam coming out of his ears.
Geoff, who had recently arrived said to Duncan, "I think you may have pushed him over the edge, bro."
"I think you're right." Duncan responded.
Courtney also gave her opinion, "I told you not to mess with him anymore."
Chef had spoken annunciating almost every word, "One. Night. Confinement. in. The boathouse."
Everyone on the obstacle course gasped. Courtney looked a bit worried, but Duncan just scoffed, "How scary could it be?"
After Duncan and Courtney had been taken to the boathouse Duncan then stated, "I should have kept my big mouth shut."
To which Courtney responded with, "You don't say. Why do you try to egg Chef on like that you know you're going to get in trouble."
Duncan decided to ask, "Why are you so uptight all the time?"
"I am not uptight!" Courtney exclaimed standing up.
Duncan stood as well because of the antlers, "You always follow the rules."
Courtney threw her hands in the air, "Well you always have to break them!"
"Only the ones I want to." he then winked.
"Ok so maybe I do follow the rules," Courtney began, "I guess that makes me a big, uptight loser in your books, right?"
"Maybe" Duncan responded with a smirk. Courtney grunted in frustration, "So why do you follow them?"
Courtney glared as if it were obvious, "Because not following them gets you thrown into a fish cabin!" She had picked up a fish from one of the barrels they were standing next to and waved it into his face for emphasis.
He leaned a bit closer to her face, "But I'm in the fish cabin with you, aren't I?" This caused Courtney to smile a bit. "Feel like ditching this crappy cabin for some peanut butter and jam?"
"Would I? I'd love to. But Chef would never let us out of this cabin or give us the sandwiches.
"You see!" Duncan exclaimed, 'That's the problem with your thinking. The trick is to not ask."
Courtney questioned, "Do you have some with you?"
"No but I happen to know where we can find some." Duncan explained. "But it involves breaking quite a few rules though. Are you in?"
Courtney contemplated it for a few seconds before smiling: "Let's do it." She and Duncan high-fived.
"Well all right then." Duncan said.
"So how are we going to get out?" Courtney asked.
"Simple." He grabbed a couple items from the cabin and picked the lock: "I'll teach you how to do that later." he said with a wink.
They then snuck into Chef and Chris's Tent, crouched behind a table, and sneaked toward the fridge. Chef and Chris were having idle conversation. They reached the fridge and began loading food into a couple of sacks they brought.
Courtney whispered excitedly to Duncan, "If we get caught we're so dead."
"Are you sure you want to go through with this?" Duncan whispered back.
"Heck yes," was Courtney's whispered response, "This is the most fun I've had here yet." She laid the fish from the cabin in the fridge. "A little present, courtesy of the killer bass."
"Now you're learning, Princess." Duncan whispered trying to contain his laughter.
They then shared the food with all the other contestants. Owen being his usual self though he had jungle rot from the obstacle course and showed his foot to Lindsey who was eating a cookie, who thought it was gross. The red patch on his foot though was only jam. Gwen was talking about Chef's lame war stories and Leshawna remarked how her nails were not meant for combat training. And Bridgette said if she wanted to join the army she would have.
Harold was not happy as Duncan had marked his bed with a peanut butter happy face, while Courtney was to happy to care what he was doing. Courtney at the moment was to joyful at having real food again she ate to much and had to drag Duncan outside of the cabin. After she threw up Duncan remarked, "So the princess has a dark side."
"Ok, that was so gross; but it was like once I did something bad, it was so much fun I just wanted more!"
Duncan looked thoughtful, "You could always give me that kiss, That'd be pretty bad."
"You're still not my type." she said, messing with his mohawk which was between the antlers.
Duncan scoffed leaning toward her, " Fine, enjoy a peanut butter-less life."
Courtney leaned closer to him also, "Thanks enjoy prison."
"I will." But, surprising even him, she closed the distance and they kissed. Duncan's eyes were open in shock at first but they slowly closed in contentment.
Geoff was watching from the cabin and said to DJ, "ok, pay up." DJ grudingly handed Geoff ten bucks.
Harold however looked on with a gasp of anger. He thought to himself, 'how can my bullies, be still in the game and both get their girls. Something must be done.'
I would have finished all the way up until the elimination but I just don't have the energy. Again I'm sorry this took so long. Also thank you to all those who reviewed the last chapter.
Hope you enjoyed,
