Its's been two months since the incident with Dallas, I haven't seen him and when I do he doesn't even acknowledge that I'm there. It doesn't really bother me because I've been seeing this guy named Tim. The gang wasn't so happy when I told them about us. Tim reminds me of Dallas somehow except he's more cold hearted. By that I mean he keeps trying to get me to sleep with him but I'm just not ready for that. He tells me that if I really liked him I would have sex with him and I told him if he liked me he'd wait. When I told him that he laughed and said "Sure babe. You know, I cant get some from any girl?" That really got me mad so I told him off and stormed out of his house, I haven't talked to him in a few day.
To get my mind off things Sodapop and Steve invited me to go to work with them. "So whats up with you and Dallas?" Steve asked me as we walked to the DX. "What do you mean?" I asked trying to sound as confused as posable, I knew that he was talking about the tension between us the last few months. "You know what I'm talking about! All of us notice the way you look at him when he's not looking and the way he looks at Tim when he come to pick you up." "You guys are delusional." I said with a blush because they noticed me looking at Dally. Sodapop laughed and said "Does are little Amber have a crush on Dally!" I just blushed even more. "Aww love is in the air." Steve teased. "Shut up , I don't like Dally!" I snapped but my smile didn't help. We just laughed and dropped the subject.
When we got to the DX Dally was waiting out side with TwoBit. My heart started to beat faster when I saw Dally but I tried to play it cool as if i didn't notice him. Soda nudged me and whispered "Your boyfriends here." Before I could come back with a sarcastic comment TwoBit yelled " Its about time you guys get here. We've been waiting to get a pack of smokes for hours." "Sorry man Amber took forever to get ready." Steve said with a laugh. "Are you trying to look pretty for me doll." Dally whispered in my ear as we walked into the store. "Nah, its for Tim my boyfriend." I answered with a smirk. Dally didn't look so pleased with my remark. He grabbed my arm before I could walk off and said "I need to tell you something about your boyfriend"...
