Chatper 10

At the BBQ restaurant Naruto and Fuu looked around for there new sensei, trying to spot her. After a few moments, they saw her talking with Haku and Akio.

Akio noticed them and waved them over to the booth they were at. Naruto and Fu sat down next to Haku as Akio grinned at look at them.

"Ok then.. The gang's all here…. So let's get started" Akio stated. " So, I want you to tell me about yourselves.. Your hopes, dreams, goals, likes, dislikes.. That kind of stuff.. why don't you go first, miss snow flake"

"My name is Haku Momochi.. my likes are learning medical jutsu, learning to get to know my friends Naruto, Fu and Hibiki better" Haku replied, blushing on the last name. "My dislikes are rapist, perverts and assholes.. I'm not sure of my goal yet though"

"Ok then.. Who's next?.." Akio said, looking at her remaining students. "Why don't you go next bug girl"

Fu nodded and replied fairly quickly. "My likes are Yuno-sensei, Wolf, Hibiki and of course MY Naruto-kun.. my dislikes are people who can't tell the difference between a scroll and a kunai.. And my goals?.. Hmm be the best Kunoichi I can and.. And keep and certain blond boy with me forever"

"Ok nice.. Well then that leave you foxy" Akio said grinning at the blushing Naruto. "The floor's all yours"

"Ok...my name is Naruto Kogami.. my likes are Fu-chan, Haku, my father Wolf, Hibiki, Pervy Sage and Yuno" Naruto answered as he cleared away his blush. "My dislikes are the fourth Hokage and his daughter.. And my goals?.. Hmm. Not sure.. I guess getting to know my mom.. If she continues to prove trust worthy that is"

"Ok team…. meet me at the clan estate in.. let's say two hours" Akio said with wink before disappearing from view and leaving them with a hug bill on the table.

"AKIO-SENSEI!" Naruto and Fu shouted while Haku wasn't sure how to react. "Get back here and pay your own damn bill!"

Two hours and a mad dash away from the restaurant using shadow clones disguised as them the three arrived at Wolf's clan house training field.

Akio looked at the three mad students of hers. "Get ready you three…. if you let your guard down once you won't survive"

Naruto, Fu and Haku nodded to one and other before getting into their stances as Akio got in a strange stance that none of them of had seen before then.

But Fu ignored it and charged at Akio, sending a series of several high speed kicks at her sensei. During these delivering these kicks Fu did several hand signs for a water style attack, specifically her own unique Water Style Beetle Dance attack.

Fu shouted the name of the jutsu as she launched it, but when it hit Akio it seemed to have little if any effect much to Fu's confusion and shock.

Akio was standing there like nothing happened smirking at Fu. "That wasn't bad.. Using your own jutsu like that… but.. It wasn't not good enough… let me show you one my jutsus"

As quickly as lightning, Akio behind Fu and went through several hand signs before Fu could react. "Fire style, fire tiger claw jutsu!"

Fu was shocked that Akio she got behind her so easily while Naruto charged at Akio while Fu dodged the fire attack that resembled claws.

"Lighting style, dragon tornado jutsu!" Naruto shouted as he ran at Akio.

But once again Akio just stood there, taking the jutsu with no visible damage once again.

Naruto couldn't believe that Akio had been unaffected by not one, but two A rank jutsus.

"What that hell is she?" Naruto and Fuu asked simultaneously.

At the same time Haku held up one hand in a single handsign from not far away.

"Secret Jutsu, A Thousand Needles of Death!"

However, as the barrage of ice needle shot out, Akio spit out a Great Fire Storm Jutsu attack that melted the ice needles with a large storm of fire.

Haku barely managed to jump out of its path and appeared by Naruto and Fu, panting slightly and feeling frustrated. "This.. is most annoying"

Fuu nodded in agreement as she tried to figure out how Akio was blocking all of their jutsu so well. "Could it be sometime of defense based jutsu?"

Fuu looked at Naruto and Fu as she had a thought. Everyone.. I think she's using some kind of defensive jutsu and I have idea around, Naruto"

"Haku, can you keep her attention for a few minutes?" Fu asked, getting a nod in response. "Ok cool,.. Naruto start channeling his charka into your arm for your attack again and try to hit Sensei"

Naruto nodded and did several handsigns, causing visible chakra to spread across the lower part of his arm.

Naruto shouted as he dash at Akio and tried to hit her with his Wind and Lighting style jutsu, Fist of the Lightning God, but he ended up hitting something around her that was only visible for a moment.. A strange chakra enemy that had had a skeleton like ribcage and glowing eyes.

"What is that thing?" Naruto exclaimed as backed away slightly from Akio.

"So you caught on huh?… Akio asked with pride in her voice. "You see.. my brother Wolf was blessed with the power of the sun god while Hibiki has the power of the moon god and finally.. I was blessed with the powers of Takehaya Susanoo-no-Mikoto-san… the goddess of the seas and of storms"

Naruto, Fu and even Haku looked shocked at this statement and before they could do or say anything, Akio yelled out "Susanoo!"

A skeletal arm appeared and grabbed Naruto, preventing him from getting away despite his best efforts.

Akio grinned as Naruto struggled. "Come get your boyfriend back... if you can"

Fu charged at Akio at this instance, unleashing a Water Dragon jutsu Haku unleashed a massive storm of icicles at the sketon but they barely scratched it and her sword, which she swung in retaliation shattered the moment it struck the Susanoo as well.

Haku was shocked that her newly brought weapon had broken so easily and Haku, despite looking calm was furious as she did hand signs for a secret jutsu that even Zabuza even forbidden.

"Secret Jutsu! Giant Twin-headed Ice Dragon Storm!" Haku shouted as she poured a massive amount of her Chakra into the jutsu.

Several giant dragons made of ice, each with two heads, flew through the air and circled around Akio's Susanoo at a fast speeds, spitting fast moving blades of ice.

Seeing the effort the jutsu to perform Akio couldn't help but be impressed but then her expression turned to shock as the dragon's swirled around at Haku's command and slammed into her Susanoo shattering it.

Akio was visibly shocked at this outcome as only two other jutsu had ever managed to out do her Susanoo in battle. Meanwhile, Naruto who was now free, charged at Akio, while Fu was helping Haku but Akio pulled out her two swords and blocked Naruto's.

Naruto kept swinging his swords at Akio's but couldn't get though her defensive style. Akio flipped around Naruto and held one of her swords at his neck.

"Give up… or the ramen lover dies" Akio stated. Fu and Haku were both too exhausted to move however. "Relax everyone… you all did extremely well… and I'm happy to say you three passed. I see a bright future ahead for all of you"

About 3 weeks later

Standing at the front of the village gates was Naruto, Fu and Haku.. In just under three weeks Naruto learnt and pretty much mastered the Rasengan that both his mom and Jiraiya had been helping him with and he had begun learning the flying thundergod jutsu as well.

Fu on the other hand, had created her own unique water style jutsu and learnt that she had a secondary affinity for earth chakra and Haku, who was already incredibly proficient with her Ice Kekkei Genkai and mastered it to a frightening degree and was she able to can create Ice without any visible water source.. She used water particles in the air instead.

Akio, who was of course with them as well, looked at them with pride. "I'll say this.. I'm proud of you three.. But if you don't become Chunin.. You will go though 3 years of training so difficult, that it that made these past 3 weeks seem like a day at the hot springs by comparison.. Got me?"

"YES. AKIO SENSEI!" Naruto, Fu and Haku al shouted at the same time while crying anime tears over the thought of going through her training again.

In the Hidden Leaf village..

Akane was walking down the main street with what remained of her team due to Sakura dropping out of the ninja program. On the other hand, Sasuke began training twice has hard almost as soon as they got back and had been trying to use Kakashi's Lighting Style, Chidori Jutsu but had yet to properly use it due to his charka coils being slightly bruised.

"Hey boss!" Konohamaru said, running up to Akane.

"Yes Konohamaru?" Akane replied, glancing at him. "Can you show me a wicked cool jutsu?!"

Sai stated, as she smile in his usual creepy way, "Jutsu aren't for dickless kids"

"Who asked you, you weirdo!? At least I got a dick!" Konohamaru yelled angrily making Sai's eye brow twitch.

"Can we play ninja instead then, boss? " asked Konohamaru, ignoring Sai.

Akane sighed out loud. "Fine …"

Konohamaru cheered as tried to run ahead but ran into someone since he wasn't looking.

"Hey! Watch it kid" said the sand ninja Kankuro who grabbed him by his collar and lifted him up.

He looked like he was about to hit Konohamaru but was stopped by a blond figure who grabbed his raised fist. "Since when do ninja beat up little kids?"

Kankuro turned around and saw a two girls, one with green hair and another with brown hair looking at him while a blond teenager about his size was holding his arm, and twisting it hard enough to make him let go of Konohamaru.

"Kankuro" A voice belonging to strange red headed kid that was standing on a tree branch said out of no where. " Stop fooling around.. your a disgrace to our village"

"Ga..Gaara!" A female sand ninja standing close to Kankuro said, visibly shaken.

"Naruto…. the redheaded one.. I can feel the presence of the tailed one tailed beast, Shukaku sealed inside him…" Kurama said, growling from Naruto's mind "Be careful around him"

"Why Kurama? Naruto asked in his mind.

"The one tail has always been the most unstable of all of us Tailed Beasts" Kurama replied, narrowing her eyes. " He is a danger to his host and everyone and everything around us… I even sense Anbu around us… tread carefully"

"Thanks for the heads up Kurama" Naruto said as he drew his swords out, leaving his bangs hanging over his face to not hide the ice cold eyes leaking killer intent.

Fu was about to say something when the red headed boy looked at Naruto and spoke in a creepy cold tone " You… who are you?"

"Never mind .. It doesn't matter…mother wants your blood" He stated as if it was normal.

Naruto looked at redhead with almost sadness "Is that so, Gaara.. let's see you try"

Gaara grinned as and slowly swirled began to around him.

"Naruto!" Fu shouted, smacking Naruto in the back of his head hard enough to knock him to the ground, face first. "AKIO SENSEI TOLD US NOT TO START TOUBLE!"

With that, Fu reached down and grabbed Naruto, yanking him to his feet before dragging him away with by his ear.

Haku, Kankuro, Konohamaru and the blond female sand ninja had looks of confusion while Garra had look of both confusion and disappointment.

"Weakling…" Garra said, as he recalled his sand. "Temari.. Kankuro.. Lets go.. We can let fools stop us from advancing in the Chunin exams"

Temari lingered for a moment, getting a good look at Naruto and grinning before leaving as well leaving

Haku to watch the three siblings leave the area before saying farewell to Konohamaru and going after her teammates. She managed to catch to Naruto and Fu fairly quickly and found Fu talking to Naruto with her arms folded.

"Honestly Naruto… What were you thinking?" Fu asked, looking at Naruto who was sitting on a tree stump. "Getting ready to start a fight with a stranger in the middle of a foreign village… Akio sensei would kill you"

"Yeah but.. That Gaara kid.. He's dangerous" Naruto stated, looking up at his girlfriend. "Kurama warned me about him.. Like how he's the Jinchuriki for the one tailed Shukaku"

"So that's what Chomei meant by tell me to be careful" Fu stated raising an eyebrow and noticing Naruto and Haku starting at her in confusion. "What?"

"Oh.. Didn't I tell you to that I and my Tailed Beast, whose name is Chomei, have come to an understanding of sorts?" Fu asked, looking her friends/teammates.

"You did not, in fact, tell us this information, Fu" Haku replied, speaking for both her and Naruto.

"Oh… sorry about that" Fu said with a grin. "Guess I forgot.. A lot of stuff happened so... It kind of slipped my mind.. But that doesn't excuse to you Naruto"

"I said I was sorry, Fu…" Naruto replied, slightly pouting. "Kurama said he was a danger.. So I figured it would be easier to deal with him now"

"Well either way, we need to be careful… remember what Akio Sensei and Wolf said?" Fu asked him.

"Slight flashback jutsu"

"Remember… the Hidden Leaf's council will be looking for any excuse to disqualify you three from the Chunin exams.. So makes sure your careful" Wolf said as Naruto, Fu and Haku stood in front of him. "Akio will be with you, but she can only do so much for you…so I'm trusting you three to watch yourselves and keep your emotions in check.. Especially you Naruto"

Haku, who seemed slightly confused asked. "Why Naruto the most?"

"Because as you know Naruto is the Jinchuriki of the nine tailed Fox Kurama.. And sometimes without meaning both Naruto and Kurama let their anger for how the Leaf village has treated them override them" Akio answered, for Wolf Haku. "I don't blame them for being angry… a lot of us are still angry at the Leaf for the way they treated Naruto…but letting our anger cloud our judgment won't do any good. Your guests in a foreign village.. So watch yourselves.. Agreed?"

"Yes"

"Yes, Wolf-sama.. Akio-sensei"

"Fine"

Flashback jutsu, release...

"Flashback's over" Fu said, putting away her sell phone.

"Oh man.. I thought it would last longer.. I was playing angry birds on my I-phone" Naruto grumbled.

"I hate this fucking episode of Bleach.. It slows down the whole arc" Haku grumbled watching a video on a tablet.

"Guys. I said the flashback 's over.." Fu said, yanking Haku's tablet and Naruto phone away. "We can do this later.. We gotta get back to the story here.. So where was I?.. oh yeah.. So just gotta remember what Akio-sensei and Wolf said.. Don't give this village any excuse"

"Excuse me Fu-san.. But we only have a short time until the first stage of the exams start" Haku said, interrupting. "We should get going as to not be late"

Naruto and Fu nodded "Right"

The three quickly made their way to the Ninja Academy and turned in their signed papers saying they wanted to enter. They also had to get their guess passes giving them permission to enter the hidden leaf village authenticated before being allowed to enter the main building. Once inside they saw many different ninja from other villages who were also there to take the Chunin exams.

Temari, who was keeping her distance from Gaara, spotted Naruto and grinned..

"Mmm.. Tasty" Temari said, staring at him.

"Huh? What's tasty sis?" Kankuro, who was also there keeping away from Gaara, asked.

"Shut up.. I'm busy looking at a certain blond ninja that's peaked my interest" Temari said with a slight dreamy look on her face. "I wonder if he has a girlfriend?… when would we have tem to go out?.. Then again, I've never been on a date before so what would I-"

"Sis!" Kankuro said, finally getting her attention. "Your falling for a strange blond kid that you've never see before, is from another village and looks younger then you?.. You gotta be kidding me"

"What was that?" Temari growled, grabbing him by his collar. "Are you saying that just because I'm not overly feminem I can't get a crush on a cute boy?.. And that just because he's from another village it wouldn't work?"

"Uh.. What answer will save me from getting my skull crushed in?" Kankuro asked, grimacing in fear.

"Grrr.." Temari just growled at him. "Mind your own business.. At least I have chance… I'd like to see you get a date while wearing girl's makeup"

"It's war paint! Not make up!" Kankuro insisted, despite Temari's glaring. "Besides.. What about our mission? Are you gonna abandon the mission our father gave us?"

"Father?.. Please.. Name one time when he ever did anything that real father would" Temari replied bitterly. "….And for the record, I wasn't suggesting abandoning the mission.. Maybe we can get that cute Naruto's village to join the Sand village for this.. It's not like he's from the Leaf or anything.. I get a boyfriend and our village get's backup. It's a win, win situation"

"Even if they agreed to help us.…Since when do you care about boys so much?" Kankuro asked as Temari let go of him.

"I've always been interested in boys.. But I usually put training first…. And look where that's gotten me…" Temari frowned. "Thanks to my constant focus on training and having a psycho brother.. Most boys are too scared to approach me… but…I just have a good feeling about him.. He was ready to fight Gaara without fear.. And probably would have if not for his teammate pulling him away.."

"Well don't involve me in this.. If Baki Sensei asks, I didn't see or hear anything" Kankuro said backing away. "You wanna try. Go for it.."

"I didn't need your approval.." Temari said, glaring at her brother. "Now excuse me while I go put on the charm"

"Since when do you have charm?" Kankuro muttered, wisely saying it low enough is Temari wouldn't hear him.

Temari walked over to Naruto and his teammates trying to sway her hips and look attracted as best she could at the last minute.

"Hi there" Temari said as she approached Naruto, Fu and Haku. "Remember me from earlier?"

"Um.. You were there with Gaara and the other guy with the make up on right?" Naruto asked, looking at her with curiosity.

"That's right.. Though he claims it's just war paint.. Who's he kidding though right? He use to steal my make up to wear when we were younger in fact" Temari said laughing slightly. "So If I'm not mistaken your name is Naruto right?.. I'm Temari from the Hidden Sand Village.. Nice to meet you"

"Uh sure. .nice to meet you too Temari" Naruto said shaking her outstretched hand. "You seem well.. How do I put this..? Calmer then Gaara was"

"Yeah, well.. My brother isn't exactly.. Stable.. I can't really explain why though.. Village secrets I'm afraid.. But enough about him.. I don't recognize your head band.. Which village are you from?" Temari asked, resting her hands on her hips and slight pushing her chest out a bit, hoping he's notice.

"We're from the Hidden Moon Village, Temari-san" Naruto answered her. "I guess we're kind of a secretive village.. Keep to ourselves a lot"

"Oh I see.. Interesting… have you ever thought of trading with other villages? I'm certain my village would welcome trade between us" Temari inquired, trying to appear friendly while checking him out as best she could. "Given that my father is Kazekage.. I'm certain that me recommending it would make things go pretty fast.. if your interested that is"

"Well…um.. I'd have to ask my dad. Who's village leader first.." Naruto answered, slightly taken back by Temari's trying to lean forward in away that invited him to look down the front of her light purple battle dress.

Haku could hear Fu grinding her teeth as she watched Temari flirt with Naruto and swore she could see sparks fly too. She knew it was best to resolve the situation before Fu started a fight with the daughter of another village's leader and get disqualified before the Chunin exams even started.

"Um.. We should probably get going" Haku said, stepping forward. "The exams will be started in a few minutes"

"I guess she's right…" Temari admitted, somewhat disappointed. "I'll see you inside in a minute, Naruto… and after the first stage…we can discuss our villages trading with one another. Se you in a few Naruto.. Oh and you two as well I guess"

With that Temari walked away, making sure to sway her hips again and hoped Naruto was looking as she did. Naruto had girlfriend, but he still a guy and couldn't but hut look for moment before he looked at the glaring Fu and the neutral Haku.

"Huh.. Strange. But she seemed nice enough" Naruto commented, not noticing Fu grinding her teeth. "Maybe I can ask dad about an alliance with the Sand Village.. But Haku's right.. Let's get going"

Naruto, Haku and still glaring Fu entered the exam room, where many, many other ninjas from different villages were all talking while they waited for the first stage of the Chunin exams to start. They weren't inside the room for even a minute when a few feet away Hinata Hyuga went wide eyed as she stood next to her teammates Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Aburame.

"Na-Naruto?" Hinata stuttered in surprise getting Kiba's attention.

"What'd ya say Hinata?" Kiba asked, looking at his shy teammate.

"That blond boy over there.." Hinata replied in surprise. "That's Naruto-kun…. He di-dissappeared from the village years ago"

"Who?.. You mean that blond kid standing next the girl with bright blue hair?" Kiba asked looking over. "Hey .. You know what?.. He does kind of look familiar…"

"So.. He's still around after all" Shikamaru said , popping up and startling Kiba. "I had a feeling he was still alive somewhere after he disappeared"

"Who, Shikamaru?" Ino asked, poking her out from behind him. "Who's still alive?"

Shikamaru pointed over at Naruto and Ino grinned. "Oh.. He's kind of cute.. Almost as cute as Sasuke"

Shikamaru shook his head in annoyance over Ino's usual boy crazy behavior as he put his hands into his vest pockets. "What a drag"

A few feet away, Naruto Haku and Fu were standing waiting for the start of the exam.

"Naruto" Haku said, getting his attention.

"Hmm?.." Naruto asked looking at his teammate. "What is it Haku?"

"Those Leaf ninja over there have mentioned your name several times now and seem to be looking your way" Haku stated in a low calm tone.

"Huh?.. They're talking about me?" Naruto asked looking in the direction Haku was talking about. "I didn't think anyone here would recognize me after all this time"

"Regardless of what you believed, some of them clearly do" Haku replied to him. "What do you intend to do? Ignore them?"

"Um.. Not sure" Naruto stated, unsure of how to handle the situation. It's not like I can avoid them or anything though"

Meanwhile, Ino was checking herself out in a handheld mirror while Hinata fidgeted around unsure if she could get the courage to talk to Naruto.

"Ino.. What are you doing?" Shikamaru asked, when he saw her adjusted her clothing and pushing her boobs up. "Or do I not wanna know?"

'I'm making sure I look good, before I go say hi to that cute Naruto guy of course" Ino answered him as he sighed.

"Oh.. We'll your too late Ino" Shikamaru said, pointing over. "Looks like that blond sand kunoichi beat you to it"

"What?.. Who the hell does she think she is?" Ino fumed, crossing her arms. "I saw him first"

At this Hinata was panicking big time over what to do. Not only was Ino apparently interested in Naruto.. But a blond girl from the Sand village was too.. "How did I get some much competition?"

"So.. Good to see you again Naruto.. And your teammates to I guess" Temari said, smiling at him. "I had to go find my brothers… but now we can chat a bit more before the exam starts...I think there still a few minutes to go"

"Um, sure I guess that's ok Temari-san" Naruto replied shrugging.

"Please.. Just call me Temari. No need to be so formal with me, Naruto-kun" Temari said, smiling gently at him. "So.. Do what kid of exam do you think the first stage will be?"

"Hmm.. I'm not really sure. .that's good question though" Naruto said, thinking about it. "Maybe some kind of written thing?.. We are inside after al.. if it was an outside thing we wouldn't have been asked to group up in a classroom like this"

"Good point" Temari agreed, nodding. "So.. Do you know the hidden Leaf Village well? I've only been here once when I was younger… I came with my father when he met with the Hokage.. But I don't remember it too well"

"Um.. Yeah.. I know it pretty well.. I've been here before as well.." Naruto replied, furrowing his eyebrows. "It wasn't a pleasant time though.."

"Oh.. I'm sorry.. I didn't know Naruto-kun" Temari said putting her hand of his shoulder while Fu looking like she wanted to pounce on Temari and tear her limb from limb for continuing to flirt with her boyfriend.

"Why do you not say anything, Fu-san?" Haku whispered to Fu.

"Because.. There will be fighting against each there at some point in the exams.." Fu replied. "No reason to give out any unnecessary valuable information out that could be used against us later"

"I see" Haku nodded to her, though wondered how long Fu would be able to hold herself back regardless.

Temari was about to say something else when a man with a scarred face ,wearing a bandana style Leaf headband came walking into the room. "Alright you little brats.. Shut up and take a seat.. The first stage of the Chunin exams is about to begin"

Akane, Sai and Sasuke just walked into the room as the examiner did and both Sasuke and Akane spotted Naruto and his teammates immediately. They want to confront them for different reasons, but know that they couldn't at the moment, since there wasn't time.

Akane stared at Naruto with look that was mixture of hatred and lust, while Sasuke had just a look of hatred.. And Sai?. Ehh…. No one cares about Sai, so let's move on.

"Hey!"

Shut up Sai..

Anyways...the scar faced man went to the front of the room and stood there as everyone took a seat according to the number that had been giving to the when they turned in their paper work at the front gate.

"Ok maggots. Listen up.. I'm Ibiki Morino and I don't give a shit what village you're from or what clan you're from.. In this room your mine and will do what I say.. Or you can get your asses out of here. Got it?" Ibiki stated harshly to everyone. "Good.. Now then.. Here's the deal.. This is a written exam.. You will answer the 9 questions on the sheet as best you can and when your finished you'll sit there quietly… until I'm ready to give you the 10th question"

"But that's not all…you'll all start with 100 points. And every time you're caught cheating you loose 20 points.. Get caught 5 times and not only do you fail.. But your teammates fail too, regardless of whether they cheated to or not" Ibiki continued, as people began to protest this. "The Chunin sitting around the room here will be watching all of you like a hawk.. So don't get caught"

"Ok the.. The papers are being passed out now.. As soon as everyone has one I'll give the signal to begin" Ibiki stated as a Chunin gave stack of test papers to the first person in the front row. "Don't begin till I say so or you'll be disqualified as well"

Temari silently cheered as she got seated next to Naruto, while Hinata was a bundle of nerves having gotten seated on Naruto's other side.

After few minutes passed and as Temari and Hinata unknowingly had silent, battle against each other while everyone had an exam and Ibiki gave the word. "The first stage of the Chunin exams begins!"
