Last time on Digimon Digital Arena: Dreams of the Arena.

"Yeah, let's hope Sam is okay." Gaomon said with a smile as they went back to the safe zone they made. Most of the team were on patrol and haven't heard of the Tye Dungeon Raid as they started to call it.

'That was a fun day' filled the minds of Nikki, Arthur, Gaomon, and Tye as they walked back into the village.

"You okay Sam?" Tye asked as the 4 entered the cabin.

"Yeah, thanks for the help Tye. Well since you were talking about the D-Killers earlier, I may have a lead on them. I was in the bushes near Sky Zone when I heard them talking about, 'The last piece is in Deep Desert Zone' you should check it out, I hope that helps!" Sam said as he and Wormmon started walking off with a smile on their face.

"Deep Desert Zone...Map!" Tye said as a map of the zones appeared with a creeping darkness surrounding it of the Dark Zone as he saw how the Deep Desert Zone was close to the Forest Zone which they called a home base. "Destination set! Deep Desert Zone!" The 4 of them said.

"Found a new lead?" Danny and Cody asked the 4 of them. Arthur turned as he saw Tyrano and the others and smiled.

"Yeah, we found out that the D-Killer organization is after something in Deep Desert Zone, here I'll send the info." Arthur said as he messed with his menu, sending the quest info to Danny and Cody. "We still need to find Ricky after what happened and I think we'll all head to here, isn't it also where we were supposed to get my memories back?" Arthur asked as he suddenly remembered when he first arrived in the Digital World, it seemed like so long along ago with how much has happened since then, who knew?

"Yeah, but we still have no clue how to stop the corruption...let's head to Deep Desert, I need to check something in the Desert Ruin Zone, I think we might be able to find something there." Cody said as he thought. How long have they been here? Something isn't right, but what? "Destination set. Desert Ruin Zone!" Cody said as an arrow appeared in front of him.

"I'll come with you, we should split up for now, but this link we share shall have us come back together, Destination set! Desert Ruin Zone!" Danny put his hand on Cody's back as the two split up.

"Well, I got to check something out myself, Tye, you're with me, okay?" Arthur said as he grabbed Tye lightly as Tye nodded.

"Okay." Tye said as the two waved off to Nikki, who shook her head and head off. (This is where the next 3 chapters diverge)

"We need to train you two up." Arthur said seriously as he messed with some deep settings in the menu, examining the strengths and weaknesses of Tye.

"What do you mean? We're strong enough." Gaomon proudly said as Arthur and Tye grinned.

"Okay, if you are strong enough than beat the two of us. When I say 'Go' then we begin the fight."

"Do we join the fight?" Tye asked as Arthur nodded.

"3," The 4 of them got ready as they all eyed their opponent. "2," The 4 stiffened as they awaited the word. "1, GO!" Arthur was quickest with his two daggers as Tye was knocked down in a second with no blood as Tyrano used his tail to knock Gaomon out seconds later. The two bowed.

"Well that's that! As you see we went easy on you but you were still no match, you got to improve your speed and how much you can take, don't you want to get stronger? Well you did go with the bet so follow us. Gaomon, go with Tyrano to the Training falls while Tye comes with me to the Training hills.

*At Training Hills*

Logs were lined up in lines as a backpack like object rested nearby, Tye looked to the grinning Arthur with dread.

"Do I have to?" Tye asked as he put two and two together, Arthur simply grinned and picked up two of the huge logs and kicked the bookbag object away and placed the logs in front of Tye.

"Pick them up. Your training begins now!" Arthur's eyes turned sharp as the grin had the appearance of a wild animal hunting its prey.

*At the Training Falls*

"Unlike Tye you have the power to win battles;however, you do not have the patience and end up using all your strength. Even Arthur was the same way and I had to train him here as well. Your training will be one of concentration and mediation." Tyrano said as he led Gaomon to a huge waterfall with a small platform floating just above the roaring rapids of the waterfall. Tyrano motioned Gaomon to sit on it to where it nearly sank, knocking him off balance into the freezing water.

*About ten minutes later*

"A-ACHOO!" Gaomon sneezed for what was like the 15th time in the last 5 minutes. Tyrano sat nearby, horribly trying to keep a laughter from exploding out of his mouth, snorts making their way through the barrier.

"Now that you seen what happens...*Another snort makes its way through* You understand how hard this challenge will be. Arthur took 5 times before he mastered it, taking a total of 2 months to finish his training." Tyrano explained as a look of utter shock appeared on Gaomon's face.

"2 MONTHS!? How are we supposed to help the others if we're going to be stuck here for two months! IF NOT MORE!" Gaomon yelled in angst before Tyrano interupted him before he could continue.

"The reason was because he is a human, even as a hybrid his body could not withstand the chilling cold of the waterfall. He fell sick many times and kept going, he made himself worse and fell into a 4 month coma afterwards as his brain shut itself down to repair the damages. He even has the scar on his back to prove it." Tyrano finished as Gaomon's mouth fell in awe.

'He did all of that...so cool...' "Okay! LET'S DO THIS!" Gaomon yelled his eyes filled with a orange flame of resolve. He wasn't giving up and falling behind to Arthur!

It took him a total of 3 weeks before he could even sit on the platform without falling, getting a slight fever but still trying as he mastered it.

*Back at the Training Hills*

"A...Are we...almost...done yet!?" Tye gasped for air as he finally made it ten miles with the two logs, which turned out to be hollow and filled to the brim with 10 pound weights. Arthur was sweating as well as they gasped for air.

"It...never gets easier you know?" Arthur said through gulps, not nearly as much as Tye.

"That it?" Tye asked with coming dread as Arthur turned evil once more as a glint shined in his eyes as he grinned slowly.

"That was just the beginning, that was your daily strength training. You got 3 sets of training, the next being a daily spar with me to improve reflexes, then we eat lunch and after that begin on our speed training and repeat that format for the next week before I increase your load.

Screams were heard as Tye cried out for help as the training began. Tye fainted a lot(I mean a lot...) but still powered through as it became a bit easier and even began landing hits on Arthur. Tye was starting to enjoy the workouts.

"Say, how about we try a real spar? You have been improving a lot and I bet you can take me on in a real fight at this point." Arthur asked on their 2nd week of training after Tye knocked the logs stuffed with 50 pound weights to the top of the hill and stopping them before they harmed the two.

"Sure, why not?" Tye shrugged as he got into his fighting stance, a blue flame surrounding him as courage lit up inside of him. 'I can do this, I'm stronger now!' he thought to himself as Arthur bowed and got into his fighting stance, a crimson flame surrounding him as he got ecstatic to battle at more than 30% of his strength.

At the call of wind they were off as Arthur rolled and kicked for Tye's head, missing as he spun around to make sure Tye didn't grab the leg and used his left TC dagger (Twin Chain Daggers- twin daggers which the blade tip is attached to a 3 foot chain and has a switch to change the length from normal to 1,2 and 3 feet.) to launch himself into the air, aiming it for a non-lethal point at Tye who grabbed it and quickly let go.

"Heh! Wrong move!" Arthur grinned as he pressed the switch again as he landed and rushed Tye, who was backed up into a corner before ducking and nearly hitting Arthur, who dodged and tripped Tye with a low kick before putting him into a would-be death spot.

"Guess that's that, at least I can last more than 5 seconds this time." Tye chuckled as he noticed his improvement as they went back to training.

*5 weeks after the beginning of training*

"For your final test. We must spar our partners with our new found skills." Arthur explained,

"With the precision of a needle" Tyrano started.

"And the strength of a lion" Arthur continued.

"You will win every battle that comes your way!" The two of the finished together as Gaomon and Tye bowed, first to their masters and then to each other,

"3" Arthur started counting as Tye tensed as Gaomon kept loose but firm. "2, 1" The two got ready to attack as they awaited the last word. "GO!"

Tye rushed and quickly jumped back to provoke an attack, Gaomon stayed still and concentrated as Tye made his first mistake and attacked. Gaomon used the force and used a new, unique move. "PRECISION POINT!" Gaomon yelled as he used the middle part of the glove and landed right at the stomach, knocking Tye back as Tye got back up. Gaomon made his mistake and took an offensive stance and went on the attack. Tye rolled and used his foot to aim for Gaomon's head, knocking him back a bit as he quickly spun to increase the damage and avoid Gaomon from attacking the open target. Gaomon and Tye jumped backwards as Tyrano and Arthur started clapping.

"Well done! You really have grown in more ways than one. I think that with this you are better equipped for the challenges that come your way.

The two bowed and started complimenting each other, commenting over the battle, learning the ins and outs of each other, improving themselves in the process. Tye walked back to count down for Arthur and Tyrano, finding that they were already underway.

Tyrano waited for Arthur to rush him as Arthur ran up and jumped above, using his chains as a shield to attack.

"SPIRAL CHAINS!" Arthur yelled as the chains spiraled rapidly as they attacked.

"VENGEANCE TAIL!" Tyrano yelled as he grabbed the chains and dragged them towards him while attacking with his tail. The two was knocked back as they were about to rush again before clapping was heard.

All four of them turned towards the clapping, surprised as they saw Zack and Kotemon come.

"Great battle, but if I didn't stop it, they wouldn't as they were entranced by your skill." Zack commented with a smile and continued. "Now you have a chance of changing fate. Here, you will need this." Zack said as he threw something to Arthur. A old glove that Arthur put on.

Memories of the old Arthur flooded into his brain as he noticed something he didn't before. Zack was nowhere to be found and after the death of the other Arthur, he came back with a new name. Zack was Arthur. Arthur ran up to Zack, handing him the googles, while Zack shook his head.

"I'm not Arthur anymore, I failed last time and have suffered this fate. It's up to you now. You can save them from this endless fate, be the Arthur that breaks this cycle of pain." Zack smiled as the crest of Reliability appeared on his chest. A second later he was on the floor as Arthur punched him straight in the face.

While rubbing his face, Zach got up while his eyes widened. Arthur's normally Blue-green eyes turned a bloody red-orange as he noticed that he wasn't looking, no GLARING at him but instead behind him. He quickly moved as he saw a slime like darkness that lunged at him.

"SHIT!" Zack yelled as he knew he couldn't dodge it. The entity attacked and after a bit of struggling, nothing. Zack got up and opened his eyes to reveal that his blue eyes turned black. Another entity tried to attack Arthur, who easily dodged it.

During the attack Tyrano picked up Tye and Gaomon, both struggling as he led them away from the fight.

"Let us go!" Gaomon struggled not wanting to drag attention to them. Arthur's influence spreading to him.

Tye's eyes turned a light gold as Tyrano let him go. "I will always protect my friends. No matter what." Tye said as Gaomon's eyes turned blue as Tyrano let him go as well.

"I won't let you get hurt. Not now, not ever." Gaomon said as he joined Tye as Tyrano watched with a smile.

'We taught them well. The morals and the skills needed to live.' Tyrano thought to himself as he went with them, he had the same morals but he was close to his own death, soon he wouldn't be able to fight. Arthur still can but not him. He had to pass his skills on to someone, and Gaomon was that someone.

"Arthur!" Tye yelled as he saw that Arthur was running out of space to move and slowly losing.

"GO! IT'S NOT SAFE HERE!" Arthur yelled back as clapping was heard from inside the dojo that the two were in. A familiar person came out as the slime moved out of his way. David came out with possessed eyes.

"You're stronger than we thought, but you still have one weakness you refuse to rid. ATTACK HIS FRIENDS!" David yelled with silent tears.

Tye and Gaomon glanced at each other and leapt opposite ways. Tye leapt to the left of the Training Dojo and Gaomon to the right as the slime split up which Zack went after Tye.

"You tried to attack my friends..." Arthur said as a raging inferno appeared behind him as a grin appeared across his face slowly and menacing, like a predator trapping his prey. Arthur looked up at David as terror spread across him as the Bakamon possessing him left him also terrified and not willing to risk his afterlife trying to face him. Cold red eyes gazed at David; remorse and emotion vanishing from the eyes as he summoned dark red daggers as his heart darkened. He clicked the back of the dagger as pillars of flames rose from the ground, consuming the dojo. He clicked once more as it all disappeared, not leaving any trace.

"Like I'll let you die that quickly." Arthur said with a nasty grin as he walked away. The Bakamon hidden in the dark slime fleeing from the sight.

Zack walked up as he faced Arthur.

"Let's begin, shall we?"

A/N MUHAHAHAHAHA! I am so evil with this ending! I had more planned but I didn't want this chapter lasting 4k words if that. Leave a review guessing which one said that. Tip: It's not who you think it is! Also I'm going to focus mostly on this story as school is being evil, I just got dumped by my ex girlfriend :'( So there's that. And it's been hard on me.
