10. Chapter 10

Chapter 10 MAX POV

As soon as I stepped foot on the driveway I broke into a sprint I had to clean the house so when Hannah comes my mom wont flip out. I burst through the doors while holding cleaning supplies.

"Ella go get some clothes your willing to get rid of." I said while pointing upstairs.

"Ugh, do I have to?" she replied rolling off the couch.

"Fine, but where cleaning because Hannah's coming and the house has to be clean." I said to her with a bucket of cleaning supplies that was in my hand as I was leaning against the living room entrance.

"Cant we just call the maid?" Ella said to me trying to get off the hook of cleaning she started to get up but slipped and fell "Oof!, I'm ok!" she said holding her arms up.

"Ella, we may live in a big house" I said nodding my head to her "but we don't have a maid." I said to her while walking over to her.

30 minutes later

I was on my knees trying to get this 20 dollar bill that slipped under the fridge. Let me tell you rich people see 20 dollar bills as nothing, I see new pair of converse. Anyway, I had my who gives a hoot shirt on with short shorts and some flip flops. I cleaned the kitchen, living room, dining room, and the bathrooms, and vacuumed. Ella did the rest. I finally gotten the 20 dollar bill! It was a success! Until, our dog total walked in ran up and ripped it out of my hands, with his teeth. I went from staring at the ceiling and laughing and smiling to me whipping my head towards total.

"Give me the damn money back, NOW!" I jumped up and tried grabbing total, unsuccessfully. He ran out of my way so I did an unexpected belly flop on wood floor. Lovely. I scrambled up and ran towards total when the doorbell rang. As soon as it rang total shredded the bill.

"Whatever." I mumbled to myself stumbling towards the door. As I yanked it open I was greeted by a huge hug by Hannah.

"Nice to see you to." I said managing not to fall.

"I should say the same so.. how you been Max?"

"I don't know same you?"

"Weird… haha just joking, no but seriously I am weird." She said the last words in a dead serious tone.

We were talking about things when the door bell rang I jumped up off the couch and ran towards the door.

"Hey iggy, Ella is upstairs."

"Ok."
