I woke up in a weird middle-eastern room. I wasn't caring if they had kidnaped me or not, but there was one thing I remembered clearly. Malik promised me something and he had no done it. I needed my food and desert.

I got up and proceeded to go out of the room. The door wasn't locked, so I imagined that either I wasn't kidnaped, or these so-called kidnappers did a bad job. I went down the stairs and went to where I heard some sounds. For some reason, when I woke up my senses were always better than normally.

"Do you think he died?" A voice asked. He sounded like Altair. Guess I wasn't kidnaped, yet.

"He was tired…" Another voice commented. This one sounded like Altair. I saw a door, but for some reason this one was locked. I could hear the voices, but I could not open it. I started trying to figure how to open it.

"But, even though…" Altair said.

"I know its afternoon. Maybe he was very tired." Malik answered. I started playing with the lock trying to open it. It wasn't working. Maybe this was too old school for me.

"He has practically slept all day. Should we check he hasn't escaped?" Altair asked Malik.

"If he did, I will blame you, Novice." Malik commented.

"I will check." Altair told. He got up from his chair. I then heard the door opening and saw Altair looking directly at me. He could see me with my hand on the knob trying to open the door, but failing. "Found him."

"He got up?" Malik asked impressed. I took my hand off the knob and remembered my mission. I started running until the counter, hitting it, making all of Malik's oil fall on his map. He started glaring at me, but I didn't care.

"I want food." I told him. The both looked at me as if I was dumb, but I did not care.

"You did this to my precious map for just some... food?" Malik asked me. I could hear the anger in his voice and how he was trying to contain it.

"Food." I told him. He looked hurt when I said that.

"You…" Malik said angrily.

"I would have never done that." Altair said in a low tone.

"Look Malik, I haven't eaten in a day. I am probably about to die. Do you want me to die?" I asked him.

"I do now." Malik madly said.

"Ok…" I said as I started thinking how to convince him. I was not making his map again without pens or pencils. I wasn't going to use a brush and charcoal. "We did a promise."

"Well, because of this, it's cancelled." Malik informed me.

"You can't do that! It was a deal!" I told him. I was in no way not having my breakfast. I would have it.

"I can." Malik told me. He sighed as he looked at his map and got another piece of paper.

"Malik…" I whined. "My food…."

"There is none." Malik harshly said. I had to use plan B then.

"Altair! Oh, your abilities are so great! Your skill is undeniable. Now food." I told him. I grabbed his arm even and did puppy eyes.

"I have learned this lesson already. I will not get into your matters with him." Altair said, ignoring me and my puppy eyes.

"Good, novice." Malik praised.

"Ok then!" I said as I let go of Altair's arm. "Fine then! I didn't want the food anyways! I will go somewhere else then." I told them. I started walking towards the missing ceiling part, when I remembered something. "And I will take the door!" I told them, I walked towards the door and opened it. I glared at both men.

"You better have dinner ready when I come back, Dai." I told him. Both men looked at me, shocked from my actions. I closed the door and guessed it was time for me to look for food.

I had started walking a bit, when I remembered something important, first, I had left my backpack and sword at the bureau. Luckily, I had put my wallet and phone in my pockets, as always, but this meant that if something happened, I was screwed.

Second thing I noticed was that for some reason, I could not, for the life of me, find a restaurant.

And last, I did not know how to get back to the bureau. Well, they are the ones affected by this anyways.

I continued walking when I noticed something, for some reason the zone I was walking in had more Templar presence than others. I was very confused about why, but just shrugged it off. I mean, this wasn't something I should concern myself with anyways. It will probably never affect me.

You know what, maybe I should get away from this area…

I tried to get away from this area, but for some reason each time I took a turn there was even more Templar presence. I heard my phone ringed. I decided it was better to check it. Weird that Juno had finally contacted me. I went towards and alleyway and took the phone out.

From: 01001010010101010100111001001111

It looks like I can finally contact you.

HOW DARE YOU DISRUPT THE TIME LINE!?

I thought your kind knew about the consequences about messing with time. But, I was proven, once again, how your kind messes everything!

I shall say this once, DO NOT mess with the timeline.

Weird, this woman hadn't talked to me in a while, and when she does, she decides to insult me. How surprising… Some people will never change.

And, she thinks I'll listen to her? She must be becoming delirious being such a bitch. Oh well.

I continued walking and still was getting closer to the epicenter of the Templar masses when I remembered something else…

Wasn't Jerusalem Salahaddin's territory?

Shit! I'm in the middle of some coup d'état! I started running now, knowing I was somewhere I didn't want to be in.

I continued running until I hit, face straight with someone. I hit so hard that I fell back, landing on my ass. I looked up to see who I bumped into when I noticed it was…

"Alex!" Basilisk said, happy to have seen me. I was so scared, seeing him here. This means… Well, I think I'll ask Altair to leave today to Maysaf. Yeah, that sounds good. Away from the soon to be war. Sounds good…

"Hey…" I saluted Basilisk as I got up.

"It's… him?" Someone Basilisk said in a rude tone. I looked and saw that James was here.

This was totally not the place to be.

"James… So nice to meet you! Look, I'm busy now! Have to leave, Bye!" I said, with that I started running. I was fine until, I once again hit against someone and fell down on my ass again. I looked up and saw both Dougal and Nigel.

Shit! They were surrounding me!

"It's him." Nigel said mean. "And here we were, just taking a vacation with Lord Basilisk and he had to appear."

"Don't be so mean, Nigel." Dougal said.

I stood up once again. "Hi…" I told both of them. "…Bye!" I turned around and run, this time I took an intersection to see if I could escape. I fell against someone again. I looked up and saw that there was Hugo. I gasped. They were totally surrounding me!

I saw as his mouth opened and I just started running away, not even saying hi to him. I passed the same road where all the Templars I had seen previously were, and decided to take the last remaining intersection. I ran through the road and had finally came to my liberty!

I leaned against a wall, catching my breath, before they surrounded me once more, when I felt some wood hit right against my face. I, too shocked to even react, just remained in silence.

"You're here!" Someone said. I was too shocked and to in pain to even recognize the person's voice.

"You hit him!" Basilisk said. I saw as one of his hands grabbed the door and moved it, so it wasn't in my face anymore.

"He deserves it." Nigel said happily.

"Come on, Nigel." Dougal said, trying to change his ways. We all knew that would never happen.

"I also hope one day a damn door hits your face going at a hundred miles an hour." I told Nigel as I touch my nose. I looked at my hand and it had blood.

Blood…

Blood!

"Fuck!" I said as I saw it. "Now, I look like a pervert." I muttered.

"I am so sorry…" Said the man. I immediately recognized him as Mark. I am one of the unluckiest persons alive. Why couldn't I run far away, but instead, I had to run into them?

"Do you want to get it looked up?" Basilisk asked me kindly. I was debating on the subject when I remembered one thing.

"Well…" I said recalling it. "It would be better if you men gave me... food." I told them.

"You seriously just got hit by a door in the face and the only thing you care is food?" Nigel said bewildered.

"It's not my fault that I can't find a restaurant in Jerusalem!" I told the men. All of them pointed at the place, right across the street. The place was filled with people, you could smell the aroma of the food and had various people screaming it was a restaurant. "Oh…" I said amazed how I did not find it. "That wasn't there a minute ago."

"Come taste the best cuisine in the whole Middle-East! We have over a hundred years of history in Jerusalem!" The man, who was promoting the restaurant said. All men looked at me, disappointed in some ways.

"It's not my fault!" I told them. Basilisk just sighed and patted my head.

"We will get some food and look at your wound." Basilisk told me nicely as he smiled.

"Will it taste like home?" I asked him.

"It will taste like home." He complied with me.

"Then let's go!" I said happily. We all entered the house from the door that had previously hit my face. I kicked the door lightly as I entered the house and sat down, waiting for the food.

The food had been brought and I was eating when the Templars started to talk with me.

"Are you sure it was better to eat first than get your nose checked?" Mark asked concerned. I had food in my mouth so I just nodded.

"He is a man of men, Mark! He won't be harmed just from bleeding a bit." Hugo said as if he was preserving my manliness. I never needed it in the first place.

"Still…" Mark sadly said as if he still felt guilty.

"I don't see why you care about him so much. He's fine, do you not see how much he's eating?" Nigel rudely said. I just ignored him.

"He's right, Mark. Look at him, I have seen soldier's starving and eating less than him." James recalled, trying to make Mark feel better, but ignoring my pride. Maybe I did need my manly pride after all…

"But…" Mark started.

"He's not a little woman, Mark!" Hugo said loudly. "Do you not see how much he eats!? He would probably be able to eat a bear and a horse without any problems. He's nose is just a scratch for the Nutcracker."

"You're right." Mark said, regaining his confidence. "Besides, he's bleeding stopped."

As soon as he said that, my nose dripped a little blood.

"I'm a horrible person!" Mark cried on Douglas, who didn't know what to say and didn't specifically wanted to part take in this conversation. I looked for a napkin and found none. I got up and looked for a piece of cloth.

"Can I rip this?" I asked Basilisk, who was for some reason not sitting on out table and was writing letters. He looked up for a second, saw what I was holding and nodded. I started ripping it.

"That is the important cloth that we specifically brought from…" James started, more concerned for the cloth than me. I damn these men.

"And my nose is more important than your cloth." I told him as I finished to rip the cloth. "And now there's nothing you can do about it, so whine more if you want."

"Lord Basilisk!" James whined. I started rolling it and put both ripped cloth's pieces on my nose, each one in one side. When I finished, I went back to the table and continued eating.

"James, you know I'm busy so stop whining. Besides, no one ever used that cloth anyways." Basilisk said as he continued writing.

"Calm down…" Said Dougal as he tried to comfort Mark cries. I saw as Nigel looked satisfied how his friend was suffering.

"Yes, Lord Basilisk." James obeyed.

"You have to man up sometimes Mark! What if he bleed a bit or much!?" Hugo said as he tried to cheer the crying man.

I have noticed the Templars are bad at many things, one them being cheering people up.

"Do you… not see… how pained… he looks?" Mark said between his crying. Everyone at the table at Mark as if he was blind, counting me.

"I think you didn't see it right…" Dougal honestly said. I nodded.

"It's because… you… do not… see how… he's hiding his pain…" Mark said between sniffles.

I swallowed all my food. "Dude, you should totally get some glasses or something…" I told Mark.

"Glasses?" All of them asked me at the same time, except Basilisk.

"Nothing." I replied. So… glasses still weren't invented yet. Another reason why this century sucks.

"What where you doing here anyways?" Mark asked me, suddenly changing his attitude in a full turn. He wasn't crying anymore. All of the men started paying attention now. These people…

"Hmmm…" I said as I started debating internally how to call what I was doing. "You could say I'm somewhat working." All of them looked me as if I was lying. They were sharp in some ways… "What about you? I thought no Templars were allowed in Jerusalem." I returned the question.

"Well…" James started covering for his Lord Basilisk.

"There's no way those Saracens have the ability to find us!" Hugo said arrogantly.

"Yeah, about that, maybe you should tell your friends to be a little more discreet about being Templars. I saw around fifty or more on my way here." I told them. I continued eating.

"Those idiots…" James insulted them. "Lord Basilisk! What should we do about them?"

"I'm busy now, James. You take care of it." Basilisk commanded.

"Yes, Lord Basilisk!" James said enthusiastically.

I stopped eating for a second. "You still haven't answered me. Why are the Templars here?" I asked them. They all looked like they didn't expect me to pick that up. Well, I'm not an idiot!

"We are here on a vacation." Dougal said. Yeah, that meant they weren't here for a vacation.

"So, it's not a vacation then…" I stated. Dougal made as if he was somewhat shocked.

"What? You don't believe me?" Dougal said as if he was shocked. Yeah, I'm not falling for that.

"Sure, I'll believe Mister Liar. Come on. So, why are you really here?" I asked seriously. There was no way that I was leaving this place without answers for when some grand event was happening.

"It looks like he sometimes can be smart." Nigel said.

"You think you will be able to distract me?" I asked Nigel. All of the Templar's faces looked like they hadn't expected these turns of events. I was very determined if my life was on the line. "Look, I just want to know if I need to leave because of this Coup d'état is happening." I told them. All of them except Hugo didn't get me by the look of their faces.

"He knows French! I'm done." Nigel said as he got up the table, as the drama queen he was.

"Nigel, come on." Dougal said as he grabbed Nigel's arm. "This must be a fluke, right Hugo? That isn't French?" Dougal said, trying to convince this wasn't real.

"It is." Hugo said simply. Most of them looked shocked.

"Why? I can't know French or other languages? What do you expect from me? To barely be able to eat and go to the bathroom alone. Have some more confidence in me." I told them. I had finished eating completely by now. I crossed my arms and was leaning with my chair, but not falling like the champion I was. Look at my skill, Templars.

"I just can't believe it!" Nigel said.

"It just shocks us that someone as lazy as you speaks other languages." James stated.

"I think what shocks you people is the fact that I'm smarter than both of you." I burned them, as I rubbed salt on their wounds. It worked. James got up from the table and Nigel had left.

"I'll do what you said earlier, Lord Basilisk." James said as he retired from the table. He immediately left.

"Are you going for him?" I asked Dougal. He shook his head.

"He's being too idiotic, even for him." Dougal said. I nodded at what he said.

"What did he mean, Hugo?" Mark asked. He was very silent now. Probably just looking at the situation.

"I never heard that term exactly, but I get what he meant. It's like saying… a rebellion of some sorts." Hugo said as he analyzed the term.

"Oui." I said in French, mocking if James and Nigel where close and listening.

Basilisk started laughing loudly at this. "A… rebellion?" He said between laughs.

"Lord Basilisk! Are you fine!?" James asked concerned as he came back from his hiding place. So, he was listening again.

"I'm fine…" Basilisk said as he finished laughing. "I have no idea why you just don't tell the truth to him…" Basilisk contemplated.

"Me neither." I agreed with Basilisk.

"You see…" Mark started.

"No! Mark don't say it to him!" Nigel said from his hiding place.

"Another one hiding, huh?" I remarked.

"But…" Mark said weakly.

"Do not." James said. For some reason this irritated Mark.

"You…" Mark madly said with another one of his personality changes. I have no idea if this man needs some treatment. "You think you can just order me around because I listen to you a bit?" Mark scolded. Both James and Nigel gulped.

"No." James and Nigel said weakly.

"Good." Mark said. He then relaxed back to his old sensible self.

"I will just say it!" Hugo started. "We are here escaping from the Templars."

"Huh?" I said without thinking. Where these men trying to play a joke on me. "I'm not dumb." I stated at them.

"It is the truth." Basilisk said as he sat down on the table.

"And I'm trying to escape Salahadin in Jerusalem. Stop kidding, man." I told them. "I saw all those Templars. This is obviously a plot against the Saracens." I analyzed.

"Lord Basilisk does not lie!" James said.

"It makes sense for him not to understand this, James." Basilisk said, trying to bring down James sensibility about himself. "I think we have to tell him the full story."

"Fine, Lord Basilisk." James said as he sat down on the table.

"This all started since the last time we met you…" Basilisk started.

"Thanks god we didn't have to see your face for so long." Nigel meanly said in his previous seat. I saw as Dougal elbowed him.

"Don't pay attention to him." Dougal reassured me.

"Anyways…" Basilisk continued. "After me losing in my duel with the Assassin…"

"Damn him! How dare that man try to kill our Lord Basilisk?" James furiously said, recalling the memories.

"It doesn't matter anymore, James." Basilisk tried comforting James. "As I was saying, you left me at the Templar base. I thought about it for a long time, the battle. And I decided something…"

"Don't remind me of those times, Lord…" James sniffled as if he was about to cry.

"Can you just let him finish the goddamn story, James." I told the almost crying man. I was getting tired of this.

"You do not understand the plight we went through!" James told me. He pointed at me.

"Can I get the short story, old man?" I asked Basilisk. He nodded.

"How dare you call him an old man?" James accused me. I just ignored him.

"I retired and these folks decided to follow me." Basilisk said as he pointed at the five Templars. "The Templars didn't want me to leave, so they send some here trying to make me go back. I said I wouldn't. And the men outside are the negotiators." He finished as fast as he could.

"Ok, makes sense." I told him. I got up from the table and went towards the door. I turned around to look at them "Nice meting you again. But, this time, I need to go." I told them seriously. "We'll see if we will meet again."

"I hope not." Nigel said. I was so tempted to do bad things to this man. Oh, I was so tempted…

"Yeah, great meeting you again too, Nigel and James." I said sarcastically said.

"I didn't say anything this time!" James defended himself.

"We all know you thought about it." I said. All of them nodded. "Bye then, hope to see all of you except those two! Au revoir!" I said in French mocking the two Templars. I left the place and I guess it was up to me trying to find the Bureau.

It took me longer than intended, but I did find the Bureau! How did I do it? Well, I took the opposite of what my instincts told me to. How did this work? I had no idea. But, this made one thing sure, I should never believe in my instinct for directions.

Anyways, I entered the Bureau by the door. When I did, I just didn't even bother knocking. As soon as I stepped in, there was a sword on my throat.

"Wow, great hospitality." I told to who I was guessing to either be Malik or Altair. I looked at the desk and saw Malik ready to throw a throwing knife and some other Assassins with their weapons ready. Wonderful.

"Put your weapons down." Malik ordered everyone. Everyone, including Altair did what he said. "And you…" Malik started to complain as he pointed at me. "Did they not teach you to knock?"

"Well, did they not to teach you to lock your door?" I returned the question to Malik. He started thinking about it.

"It's important that you always knock when you enter. It's one of the Assassin's rules." Altair informed me. He already went and sat down where he usually was, on a chair near Malik's counter.

"Well, I'll be having a bit problem with that. You know, not being an Assassin and all that." I countered at him. I was very mad at these men. They did not give me to eat and I didn't smell some delicious food. Liars…

"Where were you?" Altair asked me.

"Somewhere." I answered.

"With who?" Malik also asked, curious.

"Acquaintances." I hinted at both of men that I was not going to answer. Both of them noticed this immediately.

"I thought you said you were going to eat…" Altair continued, even though he knew that I didn't want to.

"I did." I replied.

"You have some guests." Malik commented as he changed the conversation. He pointed at the tables with Assassins.

"You're sure they're my guests?" I asked.

"It's the Assassin from yesterday. He came to thank you for saving his father." Altair mumbled.

"Oh…" I muttered. I went towards the table with the Assassins and sat down. "I heard you wanted to talk with me." I said in the most professional tone I could.

"Yes." The Assassin said as he looked me at the eye. I was a little nervous because of this.

"So… what did you want to talk about?" I asked him. He bowed down to me.

"I'm forever indebted with you." The Assassin said. This is becoming very awkward…

"Get up." I whispered at the man for him to not cause a scene.

"I won't!" The man almost yelled. Has he ever heard of volume? "I' just showing you my gratitude! I need to know, how can I repay you?" The man asked as he looked at me in the eye.

"I…" I mumbled awkwardly. "Just don't bow." I told him.

"No!" The man screamed disobeying me. "I need to know what you want!" The man expressed with all the honesty in the world.

"Nothing really…" I told him.

"No need to be modest." The Assassin assured. "I have to give you something. What do you want? Women? Money? My life?" He offered.

"Wait…" I interrupted the man. "Your life? Is there slavery in these times?" I asked out loud.

"In these times?" Altair repeated.

"I mean… Around here. In these places." I improved.

"There is." Malik informed me.

"Well… I was always curious about this slavery…" I muttered to myself. Not like I wanted one personally, but it would be somewhat interesting for a few days. Maybe, just make him cook and that's it.

"Are you actually considering this?" Altair asked, shocked. "You do know we are Assassins fighting for the freedom of human beings."

"Oh yeah..." I replied, thinking about that again. Oh well, there goes my personal chef. "I was never ever going to do that." I lied. They all looked at me somewhat disappointed.

"I need to repay this favor some way!" The Assassin begged.

"Look…" I started.

"Stop bothering him, son." Someone interrupted me. I looked at the origin and saw the man from yesterday. He had a shirt now and was leaning against the wall.

"Father!" The assassin said as he got up from his place and dashed to where his dad was currently. He then helped his dad, so he wouldn't fall. "You shouldn't be here!"

"And you shouldn't bother the young man." The father scolded.

"But, Father…" The Assassin started.

"Nothing. Now, let the man be at peace." The Father ordered. "Don't you see how uncomfortable you're making him?" The father advised his son as he pointed at me.

"Did I?" The son asked.

"You did." The father replied. "Now, young man, thank you for rescuing me and my son." The man thanked.

"Yeah…" I said as I dragged out the word awkwardly.

"Is there anything you want as repayment?" The dad asked. Didn't he just scolded his child for asking about this? Double standard…

"Nope." I informed him. "And before you ask if I'm sure. I am."

"Thank you so much…" The Assassin bowed as he cried. "I am eternally indebted to you…"

"Don't cry son…" The father said with tears on his eyes.

"Father…" The son cried. He then hugged his dad. The father returned the hug. I heard someone else sniffling and saw as Malik was almost crying. Altair was also looking fondly at the situation, a little sad also.

"You're crying, Dai?" Altair teased Malik.

"Silence, Novice." Malik answered.

After the whole mushy scene had finished, both men left through the door, still hugging each other and crying.

"Do you not feel something from this?" Malik asked me.

"Meh…" I said. "I have never been a fan of happy endings in stories." I told them, not thinking what I said.

"Not a fan? What do you prefer for the man to have died and for his son to end fatherless?" Altair criticized, hurt from what I had said. It looks like he took it very personally.

"No..." I replied in a monotone from being scolded. I guess this was life and not a story. Sometimes, I had to remember this…

"Alex, what do you want to eat?" Malik offered.

"What?" I replied shocked. What is this?

"I said if you wanted to eat something. But, looks like you don't…" Malik teased.

"I do!" I announced happily. "But, what made you change opinions?"

"Nothing." He answered immediately. I smirked at this.

What a soft guy…

"You have to make the best dinner ever Malik!"

It was the day after our feast. Malik had cooked Dailiciously, as I would call it. It was one of the best meals I had in a while. I woke up earlier than I usually would, earlier meaning very much earlier. It was morning for Christ's sakes!

I took a bath in one of these old school tubs and changed my robe to my green one. I decided I needed a pajama as today's priority. I was sick and tired of sleeping in my Assassin's robes.

I got out of the room once again and went towards the principal Bureau's room. I went there and there was no one.

I guess they overslept… What time was it anyways?

I took out my phone and it said it was six a.m.

Six!? Damn, since when did I become a morning person? Have I lost myself?

I put my phone back in my pockets and decided I would leave a note to them, telling where I had gone.

I took one of Malik's papers, his quills and some of his oil. I started to write…

I need stuff. I'm gone shopping. If you need me… I don't know, look for me?

-Alex

Perfect!

I looked at the letter and noticed that it took my longer and my writing wasn't as good as I first thought, but it was legible.

I remembered that they talked and spoke Arabic, but they had to know some English. They studied a lot anyways, so they had to understand what I said. If not, they're screwed.

I folded the letter neatly and left it on top of Malik's desk.

I opened the door and left the bureau to do my much-needed shopping.

"Altair!" Malik screamed as he noticed the piece a map of his folded and scribbled on his table.

"Why do you bother me now, Malik?" Altair asked. He had just woken up and had woken up from the screams of the Dai.

"Did you do this!?" Malik accused Altair. Malik pointed at his map.

"It was not me." Altair replied innocently. He raised both of his hands as a symbol of peace.

"Then… He." Malik muttered with anger.

"What does it say?" Altair asked as nicely as he could at the Dai's outrage.

"It's in English." Malik said as he calmed down a bit. He looked at the map trying to decipher it. "I can't understand this. Here, do it yourself." Malik said as he handed it to Altair.

"It says that he left to do some shopping, but his handwriting is terrible…" Altair commented when he deciphered it.

"And why did he decide to use one of my maps!?" Malik furiously yelled.

I came back to the bureau, this time knocking, with all of my shopping done. I didn't buy much, but it was most of my basic needs and some gifts. I bought some pajamas, which were basically custom-made because for some reason, people hadn't invented them. They told me that people slept with the same undershirt they used all day.

I didn't want that, so I decided to ask them to make a couple of shorts and T-Shirts. They did it, saying that I was crazy as if someone was wearing this, but I paid no mind. I made them out of cotton, not really caring about the price.

I also bought some perfume that was also considered deodorant in these times. I would have probably bought a razor, a hairbrush, a toothbrush and some toothpaste if I didn't bring some with me while grabbing one of the many in the Nexus. I don't know why there where so many. Also, I had no concrete idea at what they used at these times, but I glanced enough to know it wasn't exactly what I would call… good.

Also, I brought from the Nexus some shampoo, conditioner and soap, all of them being my favorite scent, vanilla, that wasn't around these times either.

How can there be a worst time period than this?

I stepped into the bureau and saw Altair, lying around on the pillows while Malik was sitting with his arms crossed on a chair, right in front of the door. When I came, Malik glared at me with the most menacing look I had ever seen, including Altair.

What did I did this time?

"We need to have a talk…" Malik said as he had his arms crossed.

"I'm sorry for whatever I did." I told Malik before he could scold me.

"No. We will have this talk. This is not a question." Malik ordered me. He pointed at the other chair right in front of him. I sighed and sat down.

"Look Malik…" I started.

"No." He interrupted. "What do you have against my maps?"

"Nothing." I replied. "Malik, look I'm sorry from whatever I have done, but listen to me…"

"No." He interrupted again. "Why do you keep doing things to my maps?"

"I did nothing." I defended myself. "But, I…"

"You did nothing?" Malik said baffled. "Look at this!" He pointed at his maps that was the piece of paper I had used earlier. That was not there in the morning.

"Sorry." I apologized. "But, I can make it up to you…"

"I do not care about your apologizes." Malik informed me.

"I…" I began.

"I just do not care about your excuses." Malik said as he turned his head.

"Oh my god! Can you listen for a second! I was just about to say that I bought you something! Jesus!" I yelled at Malik for ignoring my attempts at giving him something.

"What? You… you did?" Malik said happily.

"Yeah, but not anymore." I informed him. I started walking towards the direction of my current bedroom when someone got in front of me. Making me hit his chest.

"Where is my present?" Altair asked me. I pushed him, but I had no strength to move the man more than a millimeter.

"You have nothing because of your friend." I told him. I backed up a bit and walk straight towards my goal, when someone got in front of me again.

"I did nothing." Altair said.

"Yeah… And you never did nothing to defend me, so I guess there's no gift for you." I told him. I did the same as last time, but this time I was dragged from behind. I tried elbowing Altair and Malik, but both men didn't allow me too, dodging all of them. I tried planting my feet, but the floor wasn't cooperating.

"This is illegal! I will sue you both!" I yelled at both men who were dragging me. Then, Altair sat me down on the chair while Malik came back with some rope. Malik knotted me from the chair. I made my body bigger than it was.

"Now…" Altair started. "Where is our gifts?" He asked. I started unknotting the rope that was tying me down to the chair. Looks like they were both good Assassins, but very bad Boy Scouts.

"Somewhere." I ignored his question.

"Do you really believe we will leave it at that?" Malik asked threateningly.

"Nope." I replied, knowing how they were. I finished untying myself from the rope. "I surrender." I continued with their role play. When I said that, I let the rope loose and got of the chair, looking for the bag with the gifts. I saw both Assassin's shocked faces. Yeah, I'm great. Whatever.

"How did you do that?" Malik was the one to ask.

"It was easy. But, it's a secret." I told them. I found the presents and started to walk towards they're direction.

"Look who's the novice now." Altair said, mocking Malik. It was a good one.

"Silence, Novice." Malik muttered impatiently.

"Novice." Altair said as he grinned, enjoying tormenting the Dai.

"Here." I gave one to each of them.

"What is this?" Malik asked as he looked at the item I had given him. It was a fountain pen. Altair was toying around with his.

"This is… interesting. How does it work?" Altair asked as he was examining his object.

"First, it's a fountain pen. Basically, it's like you quilt, but much better." I said, simplifying the uses.

"So… I can use this instead of a quill?" Malik asked.

"Yep." I replied.

"Where did you get this?" Altair asked me this time.

"It was from this merchant that was talking about it being the first of its kind. I didn't get much of the story. Who knows? He said that these where probably the last ones existing." I recalled what the man said earlier.

"Interesting." Altair muttered.

"I'm great. I know. You know what's the way to repay me for this? A great dinner." I told Malik.

"Fine… But don't you ever touch a map of mine again." Malik agreed.

I had slept, but I was awoken by some light. I was half awake when I heard something being broken. I opened my eyes and saw many people in my room, one holding my flashlight and pointing it at my eye.

"It works…" The man muttered, impressed. It took me some seconds to process this information.

First, there was someone in my room.

Second, it was night-time.

Third, they were pointing my flashlight at me.

"Intruders!" I screamed. "Code red! I repeat code red!" The man who was pointing the flashlight at me pointed it at another direction. It was too dark for me to see who it was.

"Shh…" Said one of the men in my room. "Don't be so loud. They're going to discover us."

"Yeah, and you think I was screaming just because? Intruders!" I yelled.

The door immediately got thrown open as I saw both Malik and Altair at the door, both armed and one with a candle. Now, with the light I could see who it was.

"What the fuck are you people doing at midnight in my room!? Get out!" I yelled at them.

A/N: Another cliffhanger!? Not that much... Oh well.

First off, I will like to say that the reason that they're staying so long is because I made them travel so fast and make it fit in the predetermined time. Whatever it is. I forget.

Now, more characters have returned! I did not forget about the others as well. And, there is still more to come.

And last, I maybe taking a little longer for the next chapter, because holidays and vacations and what not. So... yeah.

Also, Happy Holidays!
