Amazingly Jacob was not as annoying as Edward. Though he had a bit of a knack for terrible timing. And of course he had to ask me the one question you should never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ask me. Ever.

"This might seem like a stupid question, but why is your name Ruby if your hair isn't red?"

I took a deep breath readying myself for the best rant I had ever ranted. Ever.

"Ruby is a girl's name. Right? So are Emerald and Pearl. Right? Yet there are girls with the name of Pearl whose hair isn't the bright white of the stone they are named after and girls at the name of Emerald whose hair isn't a glorious bright green. And you don't expect a girl whose name is Sapphire to have blue hair or a girl named Opal with hair of beautiful blinding colours! Yet as soon as your name is Ruby and you do not have red hair you have committed a crime, a travesty, something that simply shall not stand! Come with me and help free me from my hair coloured base machines of oppression!"

"Don't worry about her, she gets like that sometimes" Lauren said interrupting my most glorious rant.

"Help! Help! I'm being oppressed!" I cried

"Yeah" Jacob said

I glared at both of them.

Lauren giggled

"She glares a lot too"

You can guess what I did.

"She glares a lot at the Cullen's"

"Oooh, does Ruby have a crush?"

Now I would like to say that I said something clever and snarky but that would not be true. Instead I got burnt from leaping to throttle Jacob and not realising that the fire was in the way. It was painful but it was worth it to see his face.

Sadly because the burn was actually pretty bad the relaxing beach trip came to an end. For me at least.

So after I got my burn looked at (apparently it actually wasn't that bad it was just all in my head or something like that) and that I went back to Bella's house.

So I hung out on the Internet for a bit, updating my family about what happened (apparently I was " completely irresponsible and shouldn't have tried to throttle him in the first place) and going onto various social media sites. And then I went to sleep.

At school I had a normal day at school the next day. You know Edward was annoying, Mike was creepy the usual. Oh, and Angela and the rest of the girls invited me be dress shopping that night. Yay.

So of course it was cancelled and rescheduled to the next night just when I had started to get a tiny bit excited about it.

So I decided to catch up lots of fanfiction.

I started on Intersections by LowPointsofSociety. Cassie loved writing her book but for some reason, but she hadn't updated in ages, so there wasn't much to read.

And then I started on reading Loving Leslie because Witticism actually updated on time unlike Cassie.

After that I was bored so I just sat and stared at the ceiling and fell asleep.

The next day was a lot more exciting because, I got to hang out with Angela . So we strolled through the racks of clothing picking out dresses. Angela found the most gorgeous pink one but Jessica couldn't choose between a bright blue one or a simple black. The blue what was quite cute but it was a bit too much while the black one was boring, so she ended up choosing a knee length black dress with full skirt and played up her blue eyes with turquoise jewellery. I picked a green dress because I like green.

But then everything went wrong.
