Phoenix: Yay! Two chapters in two weeks! Much better than our original track record! Phelix disclaimer please!

Phelix: I don't take orders from you, peasant!

Phoenix: As one of the writers I actually can. Just do it and you can continue with your little magic tricks.

Phelix: Fine! The 3 Eternal Phoenixes do not own the Avengers only my comrades and I.

Shoutout to Gammawidow67: Thank you for your comments! No Mitchi is not a hulk since the gamma radiation did not affect Bruce's DNA. She is smart and is a SHEILD agent though.

Chapter 9

London, England

As soon as her Starkphone began ringing Astrid left it be. With her luck it would be THEM.

"You've reached the live model decoy of Astrid Stark. Please leave a message at the tone." Astrid's messaging system said.

The phone number was classified, therefore, Astrid was not going to pick up. They could just leave a message.

"Hello Miss. Stark," the message said. "This is Agent Coulson of SHIELD. Now we need your assistance on finding the Avengers. Please pick up the phone."

Astrid proceeded to then begin to exit the room. They were trying to trick her with the voice of a dead person.

"I can tell you aren't convinced," the message continued, "Kelsie needs you. She's heartbroken from you leaving. I know you care about her even if you don't act like it. If you won't do it for me, do it for her."

Astrid glared at the phone for a few moments before curiosity got the best of her. "Alright psychic, you got five minutes to tell me everything you know or want to know before I cut the line."

Little did she know, her entire team was listening in on the conversation.

Mitchi's heart thudded in her chest as Phil called one of her best friends. Would Astrid pick up or would she walk away?

"Alright psychic, you got five minutes to tell me everything you know or want to know before I cut the line." Astrids voice rang out.

Mitchi let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding. So Astrid really wasn't heartless. She still cared about them.

"We need to know what you've found. The team hasn't been successful in finding possible locations for where the Avengers are being held. With your insight we should be able to find them faster." Agent Coulson explained.

"So you guys need a Stark's help." Astrid cheered.

Mitchi could almost hear her smirking over the phone. Astrid was Astrid and she would never change.

"Please come back!" Mitchi burst out, "We miss you. It just isn't the same with only six of us."

Astrid sighed. Mitchi crossed her fingers and hoped for the best. She could tell at least Kelsie and Kiara were doing the boys had emotionless masks glued onto their faces. They were probably still pissed.

"Anyway, where's the Helicarrier now? I need coordinates that I can install into my GPS."

Coulson stated the coordinates. Suddenly a whooshing sound appeared on the deck.

Astrid walked into the Mission Control room a few minutes later.. "My parents are in Afghanistan or China. Capsicle is in Germany along with Aunt Amy. Thor and Loki most likely got kidnapped by the Chitauri or Lady Amoura. Maybe both. The Hulk was definitely kidnapped by General Ross. He's in America. And the two assassins? After hours of scrolling down lists of enemies, I finally narrowed it down: The Red Room and the Budapest Drug Lords."

All of them stared in awe at her. "How did you manage to do that with absolutely no evidence?" Joey asked, forgetting that he was mad at her.

Astrid smirked. "I'm a Stark, Barton. We always know everything, with or without evidence."

"In other words, she used process of elimination," Kelsie translated. "Something that we should have used."

"Stop raining on my parade," Astrid groaned.

"That's my job sis." Kelsie responded playfully. She was defiantly back to normal.

"Where exactly is the job description?" Astrid demanded, batting her eyelashes.

Mitchi smiled at Kiara, who smiled at Joey, who scowled. He wasn't going to forgive her that easily. If Astrid thought she could just strut back into the ranks without suffering the consequences she was so wrong.

Kelsie stuck out her arm and stared at everyone as if daring them to do the same. All the kids, minus Joey who was continued sulking, piled their hands up.

"Avengers Assemble!" They all yelled together

Astrid may have charmed her way back into the team but Joey knew better. Those calculating brown eyes told the whole story. Joey had no idea what she was planning, but he was going to find out. Astrid smirked in his direction, before Kelsie dragged her away to tell her something that was irrelevant to the situation.
