"Roy said he didn't have any siblings" Thea said following Felicity back to the elevators
"Well after he joined the team I looked into any of his living relatives, I found his father living somewhere in Upstate New York. When Roy was just about a teenager his father left and I found a birth record of Rose. Roys parents I guess thought that 2 kids was to much work so they gave her up for adoption when she was born." Felicity said walking toward the elevator trying to avoid the eyes on both her and Rose
"You might as well tell them the whole truth Aunt Lissy, I was sold on the black market by my parents for money to help with their drug habit. The family I got sold to were theives that taught me everything and anything. When I turned 12 they told me I was to help provide for my family, they sent me out into the world picking pockets, stealing cars, anything to sell for money for the family." Rose said looking only at Felicity remembering when she met her
FLASHBACK
'You dont have to feel like this you know' Felicity said to the little girl who just picked her pocket
'What do you mean' Rose said looking curious and confused
'Carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.' Felicity said smiling
'I don't know what your talking about lady' Rose said and started walking away from Felicity
'Your just a kid, your parents are suppose to provide for you not the other way around. Your family turned you into this ninja thief, what they didn't tell you is they are using you like all their other children or that they arn't really your parents. That just beyond their reach you have family that would do anything to protect you, including giving you a choice to know that family, maybe grow up like a normal girl, go to school, gush about boys, go to the beach, get grounded to your room." Felicity said trying to get through Rose
'What are you talking about lady' Rose said looking Felicity right in the eyes
'I know who you really are Rose, I know everything about you, but most importantly I know your family is not here in New York. That your real family is waiting for you with open arms.' Felicity said
'How do you know my name' Rose said
"Because I have looked everywhere for you, my wallet you just picked from my pocket, there is nothing in it besides of an address to where I will be staying for a while and my phone number. If you decide that you are sick of this life, sick of being an adult instead of a kid. If you want to learn more about your real family maybe meet them, you can get out of this life forever. The offer is open for the next 3 days cause after that I will know your choice will be to stay here.' Felicity said walking away not looking back at Rose
1 Hour Later
Felicity is siitting at the breakfest bar of the kitchen counter when she feels someone else in the apartment besides her.
'You could have just rung the door bell or knocked' Felicity said not looking around to Rose
'Who are you, and how did you know they wern't my real parents' all you hear is her sniffing of her runny nose and silent tears down her cheeks
'My name is Felicity Smoak, Im a friend of your real family. I have been looking for you just over a year.' Felicity said turning around and finally looking at the tear strucken, heartbroken, and lost girl in front of her
'Before I tell you a very long and unbelievable story, sit down on the couch over there by the fireplace.' Felicity said raising her hand in the direction of the couch
'Everything I am about to tell you will not leave this room, understood.' Felicity said coming over to the couch with tissues, a tray of water and also food
'How do I know your telling the truth.' Rose said
'Everyone who knows me, would tell you I never lie to friends or family.' Felicity said
'Everything I am about to say is the truth. You can stop me at anytime if you have any questions.' Felicity said
'Your real parents were Emila Rose Harper and William Joseph Harper. You have an older brother Roy William Harper. He found himself taking care of his drug addicted parents for 7 years before they both died of an overdose. When you were born they both sold you on the black market for money to provide for their drug habit.' Felicity said
'I know what your thinking and dont even think it' Felicity said
'You are not the reason your parents got into drugs, or the reason that they are dead. Yes your parents sold you on the black market for money, but it was their addiction to drugs that got them killed.' Felicity said looking over to Rose at her reaction
'Your brother use to steal to, use to make just enough for rent of a house. One day he stole a purse that belonged to a very rich person, with mommy and daddy issues like him. They soon fell in love after the banter between them for months. A few months after their offically dating, he gets kidnapped by a serial killer, he gets filmed on live tv to confess of the sins he has done. Instead he tells the serial killer to just kill him, no one would mourn for him, no one would remember him.' Felicity was going to contimue but saw the reaction on Rose's face and knew she had questions
'Is he alive?' Rose asked
'Just listen to the rest of the story, ok' Felicity said sighing
'Before the man could kill Roy, a masked vigilante came crashing throught the skylight and saved him. After that Roy was obsessed with the vigilante. He saw what it was like to be a hero. To save a stranger who he didn't know. He finally meet him and thanked him for saving him, he also said he wanted in. He wanted to help the vigilante, help him not only save himself but save his city. The vigilante brought him in on small missions at first but after Roy was injured and injected with a serum that made him stronger, and faster. Roy was out of his mind and to get him to calm down the vigilante revealed his identity. After that the vigilante trained him, saved Roy from himself and the vigilante from himself. The vigilante had a team 3 other people, all of them helped him to clean up the city, to get rid of drugs, guns, powerful people using their money to get out of crimes they comitted. I am apart of that team, I provide their eyes and ears in the field. I can hack into anything with a computer. Thats how I found you.' Felicity said looking to Rose
'If you would like to join that team someday be apart of something bigger, or as Roy put it saving people who cant save themselves.' Felicity said smiling
'I dont want to steal things the rest of my life. Theres time where I steal someones wallets and look at my hands, like I could be doing something more than steal peoples money. I want to grow up, I want to go to school, have friends, have sleepovers eat s'mores. I want to be a kid' Rose said crying
'I'll make you a deal if you go to school, grow up, I will introduce you to my team. Maybe someday you will be apart of that team when I think you are ready.' Felicity said
END OF FLASHBACK
"That is until I got her out 5 years ago." Felicity said looking at the mirrored wall and seeing her tears in the reflection
"What has she been doing sense then? How did you get her out? Why didn't you tell us? We could have helped you get her out?" Oliver listed off when the elevator dinged and the doors opened
"I enrolled her in school and payed for all her things. She graduated high school last year and I got her a job.' Felicity said walking to her computer area and sitting down in her chair
"You didnt tell them about me" Rose asked
"Well I kind of was busy. I never had time to tell them. The only people who know about you are Roy, Ray and I." Felicity said angerly
The bunker was completely quiet you could hear a pin drop. Oliver, Diggle, Richard, Lyla, Carol, Ben, Angela, Liam, Bree, Thea, Laurel, Sara, Henry and Lincoln were surrounding the main floor platform of Felicitys work space, swiveling theirs heads between the two people talking.
"Does that mean the deal we made 5 years ago is finally happening." Rose said smiling
Felicity turned around and looked at Rose with a little smirk at her lips.
"Everyone meet Rose Emilia Harper" Felicity said
Then Felicity stands up and proceeds around the room introducing Rose to the rest of her family.
"Rose this is John Diggle, Lyla Michaels-Diggle, Oliver Queen, Thea Queen, Bree Walters, Liam Wheeler, Richard Grayson, Ben Hassler, Carol Tressler, Henry Basket, Sara Lance, Laurel Lance, Lincoln Russo, and Angela Frost" Felicity said
"Can we get a group photo" Rose asked
"Rose Emilia Harper, dont make me regret inviting you on this team" Felicity said fixing her glare to the girl in question
