Lulu POV (A/N: decided to do suggested 3rd person for her. Also chapter hasn't been named yet though it is Chapter Nine. Here goes nothing…)
Lulu was in a dark place; she heard murmurs but didn't understand what was being said. The doctor was explaining that Crystal was in a coma and Lulu was supposed to wake up sometime either that day or the next but he couldn't do anything. Lulu felt herself being pulled back into the darkness and tried to fight back to her what else she could make out but lost the battle slipping into a fitful sleep.
It had been two weeks since the accident and Lulu watched as her mom's friends began acting strange. They thought that her mom wouldn't wake up but kept pretending for her. Lulu rolled her eyes and moved from the window to where her mom was sleeping. Lulu grabbed her mom's hand and gave it a light squeeze.
"I'm sorry momma," she said closing her eyes and bowing her head.
She felt a light squeeze from her hand and looked up to see her mom was awake and smiling.
"Momma!" she said happily making everyone turn and look at them.
"Hey Lulu, what happened?" her mom said unsurely.
"You were fine at first but you fainted from the smoke inhalation after your car got wreaked. You've been in a coma for two weeks since," Stark said from where he stood next to Zoey.
"Oh no…" Crystal said fear on her face now.
"Momma? What's wrong?" Lulu asked scared.
"We need to get to the school right now," her mom said anxiously getting off the bed. (A/N not too sure which is better 'her mom' or 'Crystal'. Leave a review if you have a suggestion.)
No one questioned her but helped her get ready before leaving. They got in the car and drove to the school with Crystal continuing to say they needed to hurry. When they got there Lulu was told to stay with James and Sabrina in the car while the others went in to find Mrs. Fielding.
"Why do we have to wait here?" Lulu complained for the fifth time.
"Lulu we already explained that not stop annoying Rina," Reaper said looking back at Lulu who sat arms crossed pouting.
She did after all just get her mother back and didn't like how she couldn't spend time with her. It just wasn't fair, she thought, all I want is to help and spend time with my mom. Lulu heard something outside and looked out her window. There, in the sky, was a big black cloud heading their way.
"Reaper, what's that strange cloud?" she asked curiously and both reaper and Rina looked up at the sky.
"Shit," Reaper said as he turned off the car and moved to the back next to Lulu after Rina.
Something isn't right about that cloud. It's got Reaper spooked and Rina on edge. My ma was acting weird…does she have something to do with this? Lulu thought as the teens hugged her close and everything started to freeze outside.
(A/N: Yes I am aware that this chapter is shorter but that's only because I'm changing the plot after this part. I didn't decide to add in the cloud till today so this is what happened and hopefully the story will get better as it progresses. Blessings all!)
