Okay so I hate when people do this, and I promise that I'll replace it later, but this is not a new chapter.
Okay so we won't be updating for a while. We are not, however, giving up this story. We will do our best to finish this book. School is starting again soon and we have to get some things figured out.
From the beginning of us writing this we didn't really have a plot line past making the characters and knowing one major event so we've pretty much been free writing. It's turned out to be better than I thought it would be, but it does take a while to find a write, edit, and post a good chapter. It takes time that right now we don't have. Please just be patient and we'll do our best to get this all figured out and start updating again as soon as possible.
As far as the OC's go, we'd like to thank anyone who has submitted those, and we are still accepting. We just don't have much time to actually write and we are figuring out ways to work them into the story at a later time. We are still working on this story and it's kind of experimental to see what we can do with it, and we have nothing prewritten so everything has to happen in those rare times between her cross country/track and my dance and anything else we may have to do.
We haven't been entirely clear as far as some of the rules and guidelines for the OCs. We can not have them with the same last names as the characters, and alone with that we can't have any more long-lost siblings of any characters. I think Sam's had a pretty rough time, so we'll give him a tiny break in the family department of things. (Katrisslol can you PM us with a different last name as soon as possible? We'll figure out a temporary one to use for the time being when we use her but if you want a different one than what we come up with then we'll change it when we get the chance. Thanks.)
We are actively trying to find time to edit and write this story and the characters as well as we can right now. School is becoming a little more normal for us so our schedules should clear up sometime soon enough to get a chapter or two in before everything gets hectic.
Just in case you haven't figured this out yet, we are fairly young writers and we aren't too good at finding times that work for both of us, and we go through writer's block a lot. We're thirteen, people. Eighth graders. Seriously. We have things to do. I'm writing this in the middle of the night, the customary time for us. You can imagine how that goes when we have school at 6AM and we end up writing essays every other day.
Currently I am also applying for the eighth grade trip this summer to Virginia and trying to get Kayla to apply as well. I'll have Riverside for a few days with no computers or books or anything (How will I survive?) about a month from now, which means no contact with the outside world. At best, I'll be able to use the time to write in a notebook and make Kayla go over it when I get back and maybe have a little more to offer you to ensure my personal well being (or lack of death via insane fangirls (remember, no more story without at least one author alive)). Planning these things is stressful.
Until then, thanks to those who have read this story and followed, favorited, or reviewed. Here's a cookie for making my day. (::)
CYA! :D
