Chapter 10
Gaara woke with a start. Everything was blurry as he tried to open his eyes. He blinked a few times. "Wa.."
"You are in the hospital." Gaara looks over to see a woman with purple hair sitting in a chair by the window. She had her arms crossed over her chest glaring at him. "A vampire hospital to be specific. I am sure you have at least remembered that you were a vampire once yes?"
Gaara sat up slowly and rubbed his eyes. "Yes, tho I am still confused what Sai has to do with it... Sayuki. Sai is Sayuki.. Right? What happened to him Saku?"
Her eyes softened a little. "I see my brother in your eyes every time you start to remember.. Sayuki was reborn as a male." Gaara took off the crystal from around his neck and looked at it. "I've had to use that crystal three times now. I think that is too many times don't you?"
Gaara sighed as he squeezed his hand around the crystal breaking it. "So Sasori killed me after I made Sai into a vampire huh?"
Saku gasps as she watches him break it. "Hey! Do you know how hard it was to get your memories into that?!"
Gaara shrugs as he watched the pieces fall on to the blanket. He could see images moving in the shards. Most where of him and Sai after he was changed, others showed Sasori killing him. "He won't kill me this time.."
Saku snorted as she looked at him in disbelief. "How do you know that? He's killed you twice now, and killed Sai once. What makes you think he won't try again? You think he will just give up? Gaara you were born over six hundred years ago. Come on use your head."
Gaara smirked at her. "I know where he is."
Saku's eyes narrowed. "Explain"
"He is with this assassin group called the Akasuki. I have ran into a few members before... Guess he was already keeping tabs on me.. Wait I have a question." Saku tilts her head to the side. "Why can I still control sand? They say it's because I have a demon in me but i feel empty."
Saku smiles at him. "Gaara after you are a vampire in your past life you keep your elemental powers. In every past life you had your power. When you were born a princess you helped your people with this power by building walls and homes with it."
Gaara nods as thinks about everything. It was a lot to take in, besides all the images that where swirling around in his head. A light knock on the door causes both of the to look at it. In the door way was Sai. He looked at them both as he walked in. His eyes slowly look into Gaaras as he reaches the side of the bed. Not sure what to do Sai just smiles lightly at him. Gaara pouts and looks away from him as he crosses his arms over his chest. "You find me after a hundred years of looking and all you can do is smile.."
Sai's eyes widen as he looks at Saku who was giggling. "I uh I wasn't sure what to do.." Gaara sighs as he grabs Sai's shirt and pulls him down so their faces are inches apart. He smirks as he closes the last inch and kisses him. Sai's eyes widen a little more but slowly closes them as he kisses Gaara back. The kiss turns desperate as Sai puts a knee on the bed to move closer to him. A cough stills their movements. They pull apart slowly and look at each other in wonder.
"Not that I don't like watching too guys make out, but.." They both blush as they look at her. "We've got business to do."
Sai chuckles. "Your right." He sits down on the bed next to Gaara. "What's first?"
Saku stands and looks at the two. "First we kill Gaara."
