After a long wait, I present to you ::drumroll please:: the next chapter!

Sorry this came out so late. I planned on releasing it a week before, but it was too short then and I didn't quite like the result. Besides, where's the fun in having a smooth-flowing BV story? So here it is-the problem. The big problem. The big problem that started with a F.

Yep.

There's more BV action, and Vegeta would act OOC in parts.

To all Radditz/Maron fans out there...

I've got a surprise! ::laughs evilly:: I am so sorry, Maron. Really I am. No, she did not die. No, she did not get injured. No, she did not break up with Radditz.

...

Well. It's not EXACTLY a breakup.

...

Poor girl. Her boyfriend leaving her while she's pre-I SAID TOO MUCH! ARGH!

oh... that was my longest AN! YES!

Cornichon92: Don't have to wait long, cuz Frieza's coming!

WiOvIx: Thank you! :) My exams are OVERR! YES

Electricgirl191: Here's your update! No, Vegeta and Bulma did not hook up last night... it's a little too early for that, don't you think?

ShadesRaditz: Good:) I'm glad you like that pairing

Guest: Thanks

Running off to face your worst fear without luck, to keep that special person safe from the dark.

"Frieza's coming."

His words rang constantly in her head, his hollow voice that was laced with dread echoing through her skull, and Bulma had to bite her lip to stop herself from crying when she remembered the sudden flash of fear through his onyx eyes.

Sighing Bulma picked up her wrench, and began to work. She had to finish the gravity chamber so the saiyans could train in it as soon as possible, if they wanted to even stand a chance at beating Frieza. From what she gathered, though, it seemed that the tyrant was just too strong... Even Vegeta looked a tad paler that usual when he went out back to the yard to train with Radditz and Nappa. Still, she would do it, if it meant working all week long without sleep. There wasn't any time to slack off. There were only two months left, after all.

Hopefully not the last two months of daylight, Bulma thought darkly and shivered.

Vegeta sat down on the rock and fiddled with the scouter for a moment. He placed the scouter back online-upon reaching Earth, he had managed to disable the scouter as he did not want Frieza breathing down their necks. Somehow, one way or another, the lizard tyrant had managed to track them down, so the disabled scouters were of no more use.

Sliding the finished piece over his eye, he connected it to the main frequency of Frieza's ship...

...

...

...

"Hello, Vegeta."

The raspy feminine voice crackled over the scouter's system, and the saiyan prince winced instinctively, "Frieza," he spat, venom dripping off the words and the name left a bitter taste in his mouth.

"Why the harsh tone, my dear prince. I've been... missing your services." Frieza's sick syrupy voice hissed.

Vegeta said nothing.

"It... hurts me, to know that you have ran off, when I have extended my hospitality and provided you with a nice home when your father... gave you away." His voice continued, mock concern lacing his tone. Vegeta growled warningly.

"Now, calm down little monkey," he spat the last word in clear disgust, "I want to know why you have ran away to the circus, instead of staying in my wonderful ship."

"It does not concern you, Frieza," Vegeta snarled, "just go home and crawl under a rock."

Radditz and Nappa paused in midair, observing Vegeta from above.

"Oh dear, someone needs to teach you some manners." Frieza sighed, and Vegeta could visualize the tyrant in his chair slowly sipping a glass of red wine, while his two lackeys fanned him at the sides.

"Now, let me ask you again." Frieza's voice had lost all it's amusement, and was cold and hard. "Why did you go to Earth."

The saiyan growled. "Like I said, Frieza. It does not concern you." His tail lashed around viciously behind him.

"Well. Does it have something to do with this... Bulma creature I keep hearing about?"

Vegeta stiffened.

Frieza knew, by the sudden lack of silence, that he had hit the nail on the head. "An exotic specimen, I heard. Something to do with... blue hair and blue eyes, hm?"

The tyrant let out a loud guffaw when he heard nothing but the static whirring through the signal.

Vegeta growled threateningly, his scouter crushed in his gloved hand. "That... that... that pink... lizard!" Vegeta clenched his fists in fury, and the broken green shards from the scouter piece dug into his palm, drawing blood, but the angry saiyan did not care. In fact, angry did not even begin to cover it.

The saiyan prince was downright furious.

"He knows! He knows!"

Nappa placed a hand on his prince's shoulder, but the younger saiyan whirled around at the unexpected contact and punched him. Nappa flew back several feet and crashed into a tree, breaking his nose and the poor plant.

"He knows about HER!"

Radditz's eyes widened. "What?!"

Vegeta spun around and advanced in on the long-haired saiyan, growling. "He knows that she has blue hair and eyes! He know Bulma!"

Radditz placed his hands up defensively. "Woah, Prince Vegeta, your majesty... neither of us brought it up in front of him before! Honest!"

Vegeta's eyes widened as something in his brain clicked. "Wait... we talked about her before over the scouters... and in the ship... THAT BASTARD! He's been listening in this whole time!" He ranted, his battle aura flaring, rising higher than ever. Nappa had pulled himself out of the broken branches and snapped twigs, and was staring at Vegeta wide-eyed as the latter's Ki blazed around him.

"GOD DAMMIT!" Vegeta zoomed off to rearrange the horizon a little.

"Wait... how did Frieza know that Bulma has blue hair and blue eyes?" Radditz turned towards the bald saiyan, who shrugged.

YYYYYYYYYY

"What?!"

"He knows about you, Bulma. We don't know how much he found out, but you're in danger." Radditz stated.

Nappa frowned. "Frieza might use you as leverage against Vegeta."

Maron whimpered and buried her face in Radditz's chest. "But... I have blue hair and eyes too..." The long haired saiyan said nothing, but wrapped an arm around the girl and rested his chin on her head.

"Where's Vegeta now?" Bulma sighed, gazing out the window.

Nappa shrugged . "He flew off in a rage. Let him calm down. He'll come back."

YYYYYYYYYY

"I'm leaving."

"Leave?! To go where?!" Radditz demanded.

Vegeta whirled around, glaring. "I am your prince, and you will not question me, third class!"

An adamant look from the long haired saiyan, however, told Vegeta that he wasn't going to get away without giving him answers.

He sighed. "I'm going to find Frieza. Meet him in his course halfway. Go back."

"But what about..." Radditz let his voice trail off meaningfully.

"Bulma would remain safe here. That lizard is coming to Earth to look for me. If I go to him, then Frieza would have no need to come here." Vegeta answered. He saw the disappointment Radditz was trying to hide, and Vegeta was sure about the reason.

He added, "you may remain on Earth if you like. So can Nappa. I'll just tell Frieza that you died."

Radditz cringed at that thought, but looked to the ground guiltily. "No your highness, I shall return with you. And without a doubt, so shall Nappa."

"You're not staying with your mate?" Vegeta looked at him, incredulous.

"Maron would remain safe here," he said. "Besides, you're leaving Bulma here."

Vegeta turned away to hide his blush. Radditz continued, "There's no guarantee that Freiza would decide to avoid Earth conpletely if we show up, but if there's just that small chance that they would remain safe, then I would take it."

"...they?" Vegeta blinked at his saiyan comrade.

It was Radditz's turn to look away, embarrassed. "Well... I may have... you know.. might...uh..."

"...impregnated her?" Vegeta finished.

Radditz shuffled. "Um.. she doesn't know yet, actually. Although I can sense her ki, humans can't feel it in the early stages."

"Her." Vegeta raised an eyebrow.

"It... felt like a her." Radditz flushed deeper.

Vegeta laughed out loud. "God, Radditz. You are going to be... a..."

"I know..." Radditz scratched the back of his neck, flustered. "That is, if we survive."

The tension in the air thickened as both warriors fell silent.

"We...should go back. Nappa's waiting. We could leave tomorrow morning." Radditz suggested. Vegeta let out a heavy sigh and nodded.

YYYYYYYYYY

"Hey." Bulma shuffled and tilted her head. "You okay?"

Vegeta glanced at her and nodded.

"I made something for you guys." She grabbed the saiyan's hand and pulled him towards her lab. "Come on! It'd help."

Vegeta blushed at the unexpected contact but did not attempt to pull away.

Bulma reluctantly released Vegeta's hand and pushed open the lab doors. She grabbed a small capsule off her messy workbench and pressed it into Vegeta's palm. "This is a gravity chamber. It alternates the gravity in the ship so you can train at a higher gravity!" She proclaimed proudly.

Vegeta raised a curious eyebrow. "How high can it go?"

"300x Earth's Gravity!" She beamed. "I know, I'm a genius."

"Oh, it can also double as spaceship." She twirled around in her lab. "Yep. I'm awesome."

Vegeta could not resist laughing. But then he fell silent remembering their quest. Bulma sensed it, however, and placed a soft hand on his chest.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Vegeta looked down.

Bulma hesitantly leaned forward and wrapped her arms around his neck, peering up into Vegeta's deep onyx eyes. "Vegeta?" She whispered, softly. The saiyan stumbled back, startled, but soon recovered and pushed her away gently.

"Sorry," he muttered.

YYYYYYYYYY

"AHHHH!"

Bulma sat up in bed, startled as she heard an ear piercing scream echo through the compound. She threw off her covers and rushed towards the noise, running through the hallways and bursting into the room Maron and Radditz shared. Or rather-used to share, as she saw the poor girl bawling her eyes out in the sheets.

"What happened?" Bulma demanded.

"They-they're GONE!" Maron wailed. She pointed to a note stuck to the bedside table, then buried her face in the blankets.

Bulma reached over and plucked the paper off the table:

Maron:

We have to go. It's very important and a secret. This is for your safety, so don't come after me. Don't be afraid. Also, don't neglect your growing appetite-please eat and sleep well, take care of yourself.

Sorry.

-Radditz

Bulma gasped. Maron burrowed deeper into the covers, and Bulma glanced over sympathetically. She leaned over and placed a soft hand on her shoulder. "Wash up and come down for breakfast, okay?" Receiving a small nod, Bulma left the room and stalked over to Vegeta's, hoping that he had left a better explanation-assuming he had gone with Radditz to who-knows-where, of course.

He wasn't there.

Bulma ran her fingers through her hair in exasperation. "Where did you go?" She bit her lip. The blue-haired scientist trudged back to her room to change-and spotted what she had missed earlier in her haste to rush to Maron.

A folded slip of paper wedged under her pink notebook, left on her small study table.

If you're thinking, 'Frieza is such a jerk!', type 'FFFF' in your review. (If you're wondering it stands for F*** Female Frieza Forever).
