Ash knew he was coming upon the Ruins of Alph he knew he was behind due to his injury. So in order to avoid temptation he decided to go around them. So as he walked he noticed it getting dark so he decided to stop for the night. He made camp near a lake as he went to go to sleep he heard a rustle outside of his tent he thought nothing of it until he heard it again.
He reached over and grabbed the glasses and grabbed the tent and he looked out but saw nothing so put the glasses on. "Jarvis scan the environment do you see anything."
Infer red turned on and Jarvis scanned as Ash stood up and looked around "See I am not picking up anything."
Ash thought he was losing his mind so he turned to head back into his tent when he heard another something in the water either going in or coming out. "Jarvis bring me up a list of my Pokemon who are awake." The list came up Ash scanned it over "alright Noctowl I chose you." The bird Pokemon arrived in the red beam of light which was bright at night "I want you to look around in the area of the camp and see if you can see anything please come back and let me know and were."
Noctowl hooted and took off ash lost sight of her as she flew around. He waited and few minutes later she came back into the campsite and dropped something unto the ground. Ash went over to see what it was as approached the downed Pokemon Jarvis chimed in "Sir that is Omanyte the pre evolved form of Omastar the Pokemon you got in Grandpa Canyon."
Ash threw a Poke ball and caught the ancient Pokemon and with a ding it was whisked away Ash looked to Noctowl "Thank you good job now get some rest." Noctowl was whisked away Ash went back into the tent and put his stuff away and went back to bed. The next morning after breakfast he was on his way when he saw something in the lake.
"Sir there is more Omanyte and Omastar in the lake."
Ash was amazed that the ancient Pokemon were active in this area he wondered what had woken them up. Mew spoke at this point "Ash they deserve to live in peace they may be ancient Pokemon but they seem to have a home here you should let them be." Pikachu seemed to agree with Mew.
Ash thought about it and they were right "Ok guys you are right Jarvis mark this down so maybe one day I can come back by myself and study them."
With that Ash was on his way he was making record pace as he walked about a day later as he walked the weather changed fast on him. He went to look for a place to set up camp when he spotted what looked to be an empty castle. Ash made a break for it and made it inside before the rain really came down.
He didn't want to get too far into the castle because it might be a maze in here. When someone gave a slight scream he ran towards the source. He ran into a room surprised to someone receiving care a doctor came up to him "I am Doctor Anna can I help you with anything?"
"No sorry I ran in here thinking it was empty when I heard someone scream." He looked around to see people being healed people using Pokemon to help them. "By the way I am Ash Ketchum I have to ask what this place is."
Dr. Anna gave a bright smile "well I helped the woman here when she was sick when she passed she left me the castle. So I decided to turn this place into a clinic and I figured out how to use various Pokemon to help me. Let me show you what I am talking about."
So Dr. Anna gave him a tour and showed him how she used Pokemon to treat her patients. "It seems you could use more Pokemon to treat people and you could treat a lot more people."
Anna seemed to sigh in frustration "we could but sadly no one is willing to listen to me when I saw that we use Pokemon to help treat us and I can't the funding."
Ash saw something good in this place he couldn't let this discover just slip away. He looked to Dr. Anna "Do you have a phone so I can make a call."
"Sure follow me." She led him to the phone when someone came by and told her she was needed "alright you can use the phone I will be back to get you and show you were you can stay for the night."
"Alright thank you" Ash went over and made a call and his father answered the phone. His dad answered "Hi dad."
His dad gave him a smile "I see you are back out on the road I am glad to see you recovered."
"Thanks dad there is a reason I called I found myself in the castle of a Dr. Anna who has turned into a clinic where she is using Pokemon to treat her patients."
His dad paused for a second "I remember hearing about that I think they said they didn't see any potential in it."
"Yes maybe for a big city or towns but with a town like the one I am near now could really use this because it doesn't need big medical equipment or so many supplies they use the Pokemon. Maybe if you send the team that is here in Johto maybe we can develop it some more and then try it out in another area and see how it does."
His dad didn't seem convinced "Ash what about emergency surgeries and stuff that is behind their abilities."
"Dr. Anna explained that to me they treat the patient until they are stabilized then they airlift them using a Pokemon to the nearest hospital where they can get the treatment they need. Once it is complete they can be brought back here if the person so choses were they can finish the treatment."
"Alright Ash if you think this could work I will send my team over I know where it is please tell Dr. Anna to expect us and good luck on your journey."
"Thanks dad" with that he hung up and then made a call to his mom and when finished with her Dr. Anna came back in the room.
"Alright let me show you were you will be staying tonight."
Ash followed her as followed her he spoke "I called my dad who says he will send out a team to see if they really is a potential for what you do they should be here within a week."
Dr. Anna stopped "wait a minute you're that Ketchum the heir to Ketchum industries."
Ash rubbed the back of his neck "Yes I am."
"Wow of all the luck just as I had given up hope of my research not seeing the light of day you come along and bring me back hope that it will."
"It was my pleasure I can see the benefits of this place maybe not in a big city or a town but defiantly in the smaller areas."
Dr. Anna started to walk again "Yes I was thinking the same thing." She stopped in front of a door "here is your room for the night I am sorry I can't give you dinner but it is for the patients sorry."
Ash waved her off "it isn't a problem a dry place to sleep is more than enough."
Dr. Anna gave him a sweet smile "thank you and have a good night and see me in the morning before you leave."
"I will thank you" With that Ash entered his room for the night and he took use of the bathroom and he got a good night's rest. The next morning he went and found Dr. Anna.
"Hi Ash my Nurse Keiko Is heading to a dojo to drop off some medicine for one of my patients. I figure you are heading to Ecruteak city this should shave a couple days off of your trip."
"That would be wonderful thank you." So with that Ash went with the nurse to the dojo. They got off she headed in and Ash followed her.
"Shihan Kenzo I have brought you your medicine this is Ash Ketchum I was dropping him off to get closer to Ecruteak City."
The man gave her smile "Thank you Keiko and good to meet you Ash."
Keiko handed him the man his medicine "alright I have to get going good luck on your journey Ash." With that she was gone.
Ash looked around and he saw various people learning to fight when he saw something that made his eyes go wide. "Is that a Hitmontop?"
The man looked surprised "I am surprised most people who come in here ask me what that is because there Pokedex don't have any entries about it."
Ash gave a grin "I should know about it because I was the one who discovered a pre evolved form of Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan called Tyrogue and figured with everything balanced a new evolution would be discovered."
The man's went wide "I thought you looked familiar I always keep up on new discovers of Pokemon because I love fighting types that is why I was happy when Johto opened and I came here to open a dojo."
Ash chuckled "You came here to find out it didn't have any fighting type beside the two I discovered."
Kenzo laughed "yes that is true but I have made the most of it and began to teach those in Johto who are unfamiliar with the fighting type."
"Well they could certainly use that knowledge well I need to get going it was a pleasure in meeting you."
"Wait Ash I want to give you something for giving me two new Pokemon to work with." He ran out of the room and came back a few minutes later with a Tyrogue "I want you to have this."
"Are you sure you want to give me this?"
Kenzo nodded his head "Yes because not only did you discover two fighting types but you now fighting types because I believe you are a P1 champion."
Ash tossed a Poke ball and caught the Pokemon and it was whisked away "That I am Kenzo thanks again but I have to get going."
Kenzo smiled "it was no trouble Ash and good luck on your journey."
"Thank you" with that Ash headed out and down the road happy that he made up two days on his trip.
