sorry I haven't posted in a while I was on vacation but here's chapter 10 I hope you like it! I love all your comment and feed back!

Tobias POV

I'm sitting down doing my homework when my phone rings. I see that it's Tris so I quickly pick up.

"Hello?" I say.

"Tobias, help me..." I hear between her sobs.

"Tris?" I say. "Are you okay?! What happened?!"

"Christina knows. She knows about us. "

I almost drop my phone.

"I'm coming over now. Hang on."

I slip my phone in my pocket, grab my keys, and run to my car.

In less than a minute I'm on Tris' bed, comforting her.

She is breaking down, I've never seen her this bad.

"Tris," I say, "do you want to tell me what happened?"

I sit there for ten minutes hearing a story that could've been told like this:

Tris gave Christina her history notes that had FourTris doodled everywhere. Christina realized what FourTris was and got mad at Tris from keeping our relationship from her.

"I'm so sorry Tris. We're going to fix this okay?" I tell her.

Now we have to find a way to fix this.

I figure that we should text her but since she doesn't want to talk to Tris it's probably better if I text her.

'Christina, we really need to sort this whole thing out with you and Tris. She didn't mean to hurt anyone but being in a relationship is a serious thing and we didn't want to go around flaunting it. She didn't mean to hurt anyone and she didn't know how to tell you. We've been together since the second week of school and she also didn't want word to get out that she already had a boyfriend. I know it's been some time since then but she didn't know how to tell you. Also, something important to know is thatTris would be texting this to you right now but I'm the messenger because she said you don't want to talk to her. I hope we can sort things out.'

Tris approves my text and I send it to Christina. She doesn't answer me yet but hopefully she will soon.

I turn back to Tris.

"Are you okay?" I know it's a stupid thing to ask but after I've said it I realized I was also asking myself that.

She shakes her head no and lays down on my lap.

A little while later Christina texts back. It turns out to not be as good of a thing as I wanted but I check my phone to see what she wrote anyway.

'She might not want to tell everyone but I'm one person, whose also her best friend, or I thought I was. I don't want any piece of any of you I'm just as mad at you too I don't even want to text you now but guess what. Kit don't talk to me you guys just don't care about other people and you out yourself in a bubble and didn't look through it; didn't think about how I would feel. It doesn't even matter I'm not really talking to you, so bye.'

I immediately send her a response even though she might not answer.

'Actually, we did think about how you would feel and how it would be between you guys if we started going out. It wasn't just about us.'

I tell Tris what Christina said and I think by now it all sunk in and she's not really crying any more.

"Tris," I say. She looks up at me.

"Yeah?" she asks.

"Tomorrow were going to go into school and pretend like nothing ever happened right?"

"Yeah, I guess" she says. "But Christina's not talking to either of us..."

"Do you really want to talk to the girl who just said all that stuff and who did this" gesturing to Tris' current messy state, "to you?"

"I guess not," She says flatly, "but I would like to talk to the old Christina now. The one who I was best friends with. She would know what to do."

"I guess she changed. There's not much you can do from here Tris."

"I know... I just wish there was more that I can do."

"Just... be brave Tris." I say. "It's new territory for both of us. Be brave and don't run from your problems, face them head on. Together, okay?"

"Yeah" she says.

"You know I really love you, Tris, and I hope I was worth the trouble and the fighting." I tell her.

"You're more than worth it Tobias. I love you."
