"Why are you wearing these again?" an iris-haired teen asked the three brothers in front of her, her russet eyes set on the festive object in her hands.

The oldest of the triplets had blue hair, covering his right eye. The eye you could see visibly matched his hair. The youngest had flaming red hair, sticking up messily. His eyes matching. The third, short hair with four tufts at the front and three at the back. His meadow-green eyes matched his hair.

All wore a long sleeve white shirt, black waist coat and black dress pants. Brown leather shoes covered their feet and around their necks, a bow-tie matching their hair colour.

"To spice it up! Add more flavour to the day's menu!" the red head exclaimed.

"I don't think wearing winter Sawsbuck antlers is going to help with the flavour added to the dishes, Chilli," she said.

"Fine, it's for the fan girls, happy?" Chilli pouted.

Iris's face paled. "No! I don't want other girls checking out Cilan!" she whined looping her arm with the green-haired sibling.

"Iris, while your concern for me is touching, I don't see a way around it. The antlers have been a tradition for many years now," Cilan said to his girlfriend.

"Although, there is one thing that might work," the blue-haired teen suggested.

"What would that be, Cress?"

"Iris could work with us, we have a dress and spare antlers. She could work with us and not have to worry about fan girls might do, because she will see what they are doing," he explained.

"That's a grand idea," Chilli said, confirming the plan.

"How about it Iris? Work with us tomorrow?" Cilan asked.

"Sure." She smiled.

The next morning, added to the boys' attire was a pair of winter Sawsbuck antlers on their heads. Iris was wearing a typical waitress outfit and a pair of antlers. The rest of her hair was braided and had white paper snowflakes entwined in it. Axew was hanging out with Pansage and the other two monkey Pokémon.

The morning went smoothly, only a few people asked about Iris, and the boys said that she was a family friend, which wasn't really a lie.

At exactly 12 o'clock, the richest girl in Striaton City arrived for her special lunch. She had perfect black hair, styled into ringlets (going down to her mid-back). Her eyes, royal purple. She was wearing the latest designer outfit for Christmas, a cherry red dress -shoulder strap on the left, form fitting and goes down to her knees at the front and dragged on the floor slightly at the back-.

She sat in the middle of the room. Waiting for her order to be taken.

Iris began to walk towards her, but was stopped by Chilli. "Iris, you do not want to take her order." he warned.

"Okay, why?" she asked in confusion.

"Because, A. She only likes us serving her.

B. Her order is huge, and

C. You don't use flavourous speech," he recited as if he said it at this time every year.

"Okay, you take the order then." She walked off to another costumer.

"Good day, milady, how may I be of service?" Chilli asked the girl.

"I should like to know who that girl is?" she asked, snobbishly.

"Iris is a dear friend of ours, with a very spicy personality," he answered.

"I do not like the way she speaks to Cilan. Too flirtatious. They are not going out, are they?" she questioned the teen.

"I-I am not one to answer that," Chilli said, dodging her question. "What would you like to order?"

"Well..."

Iris walked into the kitchen, a tray of dirty dishes in hand. Cilan and Cress were in the kitchen cooking. "Finally, lunch rush of taking orders is over." She sighed. The two older boys chuckled at her antics.

"Oh, has Alexandria come in yet?" Cress asked the worn out girl.

"Who's she?" Iris asked, scrunching her nose at the name.

"The richest girl in town. Orders something extremely complex every week and and hates any waitress or, actually any girl going out with one of us," Cress explained.

"Oh yeah, she here." She muttered to herself, "That's why Chilli told me not to take her order."

She walked over to the sink where Panpour and Pansage were washing the dishes. "Hey Cilan, where's Axew?"

"Oh." He laughed a bit. "Little Axew didn't have the strength to make it through the work day," he said with a smile.

Iris giggled at her Pokémon's cuteness. A fleck of green caught her eye. She walked up to the green-haired connoisseur. "Hey Cilan, look up."

He looked up, hanging onto a banister of the ceiling was Axew, holding a sprig of mistletoe in his claws. "Well Iris, looks like we're caught under the mistletoe in Christmas eve day," he said in a tone of voice that almost no one heard him use.

"You know I hate too break tradition." The two leaned in and what started as a kiss turned into a fully fledged make-out session.

Cress sighed. "You couldn't keep your relationship cooler around others could you?" He pushed them out of the kitchen, closer towards the door.

"I will send it to the kitchen," Chilli said, after finally finishing taking Alexandria's order. He walked to the kitchen doors grimacing at the sight through the window.

Alexandria's eyes followed him. They flickered over the door and instantly went back. Shocked by the image, she called back the red-haired gym leader.

"So are they going out?" she asked in an angry tone.

"Ask them yourself. I am not going to interrupt them," he said in disgust of his brother's action.

"Hmpf, fine." She got up on her cherry-red matching designer heels and waltz toward the door. She knocked, "Excuse me, Love-birds? I have a question about today's special," she said in a sickly sweet voice.

Cilan and Iris broke apart and noticed where they were and ran to the side, blushing madly.

"How did we end up there?" Iris asked, begging her blush to fade.

"You can thank me for that. You two were standing in the middle of the kitchen," Cress called out from cutting carrots.

"I think it was Alexandria that saw us." Cilan sighed.

"Let's go face her," Iris suggested. "It will be easier to just tell her."

"Good point. Let's go."

"Wait," Iris walked to where they were previously standing and knelt down. "I may have knocked these off." She picked up the white fuzzy antlers and placed them back atop Cilan's head. "Yeah, it definitely spices it up," she confessed, causing the bow-tie wearing teen to blush.

"Let's go," he said quietly.

They walked to the door, where the black-haired teen was waiting.

"Well, I'm waiting. Why is my Cilan going with her," Alexandria spat, looking at Iris.

Iris was shocked, 'Why would she say my Cilan?' she asked herself. However her question was answered in the next question spoken.

"I am not yours," Cilan said, his voice filled with venom for the girl.

"How could you say that Cilan? I've loved you since I was a little girl," she whined, hurt by his words.

"It's not who loves me, it's who I love. And my heart has fallen for Iris."

"But what about me? I bet she doesn't even love you. She just wants to make me jealous," she smirked, thinking that she stumped him. But, she was answered by his partner.

"I could spend my Christmas in the Village of Dragons, where I could be warmer, be with family and my tribe. But, where am I? In Straiton City with my boyfriend, 'cause I love him to death!" she shouted at her.

Alexandria's eyes were wide. She had no comebacks, as did the rest of the restaurant. All of the costumers and Chilli were staring in their direction, not entirely sure what was going on.

"Stuff it, I'm going out with Cilan!" Iris called to the rest of the audience.

The restaurant burst into cheers, while Alexandria walked out vowing to never return.
