A/N: Hey I'm not dead! (Contrary to popular beliefs...) And I return with a new chapter! AHAHAHA!...Yeah...so...it's been about four months...I know I would update faster...but...yeah... Meh. Whatever. Whatever under the bridge! Let's get on with the new chappy!

Third Person POV:

Natsu, Gray, Erza, and Happy stood silently in the room. They had nothing to say. After Natsu accepted Lucy's offer for staying for the day, she and Loke had gone off somewhere.

Gray finally let out a frustrated sigh. "Are you really going to do this, Natsu? After this night, if Lucy doesn't want to leave, we can't force her to."

Natsu stayed silent, but he nodded.

His best friend/rival frowned. "Are you sure, Natsu?"

The Fire mage nodded again. "If this makes Lucy happy...then I'll gladly be gone from her life."

Gray stared at Natsu with a disapproving look on his face. "I can't believe you."

Natsu scowled at the dark haired boy. "It's not as if I don't want her to come with us!"

"Then-"

"How can I cause her anymore grief by taking her away? If Lucy is happier here, then I'll let her stay. I won't mind. If it's for Lucy, I'll swallow my pride and accept it with no words."

The two of us stared at each other. Gray finally let out a huff of air and patted my shoulder. "Fine. But." He pulled me to face him. "You better swear that the only time you'll do it is when you tried everything to bring her back to us, Natsu. Do you hear me?"

Natsu's face broke into a grin. "A member of Fairy Tail wouldn't have it any other way."

We stood around the room and walked around, not knowing what to do. Until there was a quiet knock on the door.

It then opened to reveal Lucy. She was beaming and her cheeks were a rosy pink. "I did it! I managed to slow the time here in the Celestial World for today!"

Erza went over to her and smiled. "Thank you for your hard work."

Lucy's face broke into the most wonderful smile Natsu has ever seen. "It was no problem! But come with me! I'll get you guys a fresh change of clothes!"

They all followed her to a different room as Lucy was practically skipping in joy. She opened another marble door and went to the large closet. The blonde girl cutely stuck out her tongue a bit as she looked through it. Then, she pulled out a stunning red dress and two suits, each black.

"Here! These will probably fit you a bit better." She handed the dress to Erza and a suit to each of the boys. Lucy then placed a finger on her chin. "Now what am I forgetting…?" She closed her eyes as she thought, after a moment, they snapped open. "Right!" She went over to the dresser and pulled out a box.

Natsu leaned a bit closer to Gray as she began to say a spell with the box in her hands.

When the glowing disappeared, she smiled again and placed the box back on the dresser. "I'll give you that later. But for now, just get dressed."

When she left, the three mages just shrugged and began to change. When they were done, they left the room and looked around.

"Where is she?" Gray asked out loud.

Natsu shrugged a bit gloomily as he remembered how happy she looked her. 'Damn… What if she doesn't want to come back… What will I do then…?'

There was a light knock on his head and he snapped his eyes opened. "Huh?"

There stood Gray with his fist near his head. "Oi. Lucy's been calling us for some time now. Let's go."

The fire mage shrugged and began to walk to the waving blonde who already had Erza standing besides her.

"Natsu! Gray! Hurry!" The blonde waved happily at them with Happy flying next to her head. Not close enough to accidentally touch her, but close enough to feel safer.

"Alright!" Gray turned back to the Dragon Slayer. "So? Are You going to go all sissy on me and run away?"

Natsu looked at the cocky grin on his best friend/worst enemy's face. His face broke out into a grin. "I'll make you eat those words, Ice Brain."

The pair of boys made their way back to the girls. Natsu stuffed his hands into his pockets and looked up at the star covered ceiling.

Until the very end...I'll stay by your side.
