I curl up to go to sleep. I was talking all day. I'm becoming an apprentice in 5 and a half-moons! I'm so excited! Now I must look for Rose. I close my eyes and fall asleep.
I am floating. Everything is dark.
"Where am I?" I thought
Suddenly there is a flash of light. I close my eyes. The light engulfs my body. I feel its warmth.
"So warm…" I thought
I open my eyes and I am in Nowhere.
"I'm here! Now time to look for Rose!" I thought
I look around and see colored dots around the place.
"That's how I enter a dream" I thought
I approach a green dot. I touch my nose to it. I see a flash of light. The green dot engulfs my body.
The Dream of Nightkit
I awoke laying on a smooth surface. Another cat was next to me. She was asleep. I look around and realize in horror that we are in a twoleg's nest. I nudge the other cat with my paw. She stirs in her sleep.
"Who sleeps in a dream?" I thought
The cat suddenly disappears.
"That's weird…" I thought
A dog appeared at the edge of the smooth surface.
"Oh no!" I thought
The dog attempts to bite me, but something flies into its side.
"What was that?" I say
"It was me!" a cat says
This cat looked different than the cat that was sleeping next to me. It looked familiar…
"Rose?" I ask
"No?" the cat responds
"Who are you?" I ask
"I'm Nightkit!" Nightkit says
"Nice to meet you Nightkit" I say
The dog stands up and growls at us. We get ready to fight. I take a step forward and become dizzy.
"What's happening to me?" I thought
I fall over and black out.
