I padded out of the den bright and early though it wasn't so bright since the sun wasn't even up.
"Ryetail...I'm ready for traini-" I mumbled but than I realized that there was no Ryetail around. "Ryetail?!" I called but there was no answer. I couldn't say that I was entirely upset about him being gone. I noticed that Ambereyes was already up so I trotted towards her with a smile. "Good morning Ambereyes" I mewed.
"Good morning Fallenpaw, have you been well?" she asked.
"Oh yes, thank you, anyway where's Ryetail?"
"Oh he had to go on a meeting with Blackstar I think Creekheart went as well. He told me to tell you that you will be training by yourself today. Just go out on a hunt or something" Ambereyes mewed. "Though I can take you if you want Aspenpaw would love to show you her moves!" She purred her whiskers twitching.
"No thank you, it's probably for the best wouldn't want Ryetail to get angry or anything" I mewed ready to walk away.
"Oh don't worry about him he just wants the best for you, you are lucky to have him as a mentor" she said with a sweet smile. Everyone says that but I still don't feel LUCKY!
"Well I'll be out soon don't worry about me"
-Shadowpaw's P.O.V-
"Isn't this great buddy? I'M your mentor!" Skyfire purred. "Lilypetal will be sooo jealous that I got a apprentice first!" he laughed with a big grin.
"What's the deal with you and Lilypetal anyway?" I asked him rolling my eyes, Skyfire was unbearable now that I was his apprentice.
"What do you mean nothings the deal with her...Do you think she likes Ravenclaw?"
"Of course she does!" I mewed "every she-cat likes him he's the deputy and single what she-cat wouldn't fall for him?" I asked him.
"How can I compete with that?"
"You don't" I mew feeling really on edge at the moment.
"Oh don't be so grumpy" he grumbled "besides there has to be a she-cat in her life, is it Hollypaw?" he sneered.
"Not a chance and no there is no one i'm more worried about becoming a warrior!" What about Fallenpaw? No she's from another clan Shadowpaw how could you? Shadowpaw shook the thought out of his head not wanting to think of it any longer.
"Well come on we have some training to get done small-mouse!"
"SMALL-MOUSE! I'm almost as big as you Skyfire, what made you all high and mighty?!" I growled I couldn't stand him anymore.
"Hey look, don't get your tail in a twist!" Skyfire mumbled.
-Fallenpaw's P.O.V-
"All cat's gather beneath me for a clan meeting!" Blackstar's howl came out and everyone gathered beneath the rock for him to start. "No today is a very very important day.." What is so important? There's no kits right now... "First off, I would like to start by saying we are going to attack Shadeclan for them trespassing on our lands!" Blackstar mewed. No...No...No...We can't they didn't do anything wrong there is no scent of Shadeclan on our lands! I thought I looked over at my father who beamed with pride. "But before I say plans I must call upon Brownpaw and Aspenpaw" he said nodding towards them. "You both are ready to become warriors so by my power Brownpaw, you shall now be known as Brownfur I hope you will prove to be loyal to me. Aspenpaw, from the power of me I now name you Aspenleaf wear your name with pride!" Blackstar nodded. "Now I will name the patrols, I shall lead the first of course I will take Brownfur, Raggedfoot, and...Rainflower" he mewed with a smile looking at her with glimmering eyes.
"But Blackstar-" My mother started but was interrupted.
"I don't want to hear anything from you!" He growled. "Now Ryetail will lead the second with Fallenpaw, Tinyshell, and Featherfall. The third one will be lead by Creekheart with Goldenfur, Jaggedpool, and Aspenleaf" he mewed nodding his head. "That is all!"
