Why Did You Not Listen?
"No wonder they changed Harry's court time," Arthur snarled out angrily as he looked at the desecrate around him. "I knew that they move us all around like little chess pieces, pretending to be all caring about us and treating us as if we are delicate roses but to them we are nothing but pawns."
"This is horrible, I cannot believe what Fudge has done," Harry said softly, shock hit him like a tone of bricks as he looked around at the natural destruction that littered the area. "And this is all because of Fudge and his disrespect for Magic."
"Why did they not act when I first told them? Why did they not listen to me for when I informed them the first time," Arthur muttered to himself gaining attention. "I know that people think that I am insane and I am just a man obsessed with muggles but why can they not understand that there is a method to my madness? Muggle's new on some level what was happening to this planet so-"
"Because of that blond haired man, Lucius Malfoy," Bane said suddenly as he slowly trotted up to stand besides his possible future mate. "The stars tell me that he is the type of man that likes the smell of destruction and pain of others in the morning. He is not the type of man to treasure the planet we live on unless it is for his own selfish gain. While other's have to have someone to depend upon and be depended upon by to survive he does not."
"Lucius Malfoy is a man like no others, the only way he sees of protecting the planet is by killing people who he and his so called 'Lord' does not think of as pure," Harry said softly, mirroring his mate's wise words. "How is people who carry out just twisted acts ever going to bring us peace?"
"People are going to be disappointed in him as soon as they realise what is really going on around them," Arthur said with a heavy sigh as he ran a hand though his hair. "One day they are going to wake up and realise just how big of a disappointment Lucius Malfoy is. I know it will happen, I can see it happening. Even now it is starting to happen."
"How can you know so much?" Harry asked nervously, fearfully taking a step to the right so his horse half was brushing comfortingly against Bane's. "Do you know if this is true? How can you-"
"It is true and I know it is because unlike other pureblood's I have not limited myself to just the Wizarding World," Arthur replied, his face oddly serious and hard as he turned away from his back garden which looked almost as if an earthquake had hit it. "I, unlike those fools who fool Lucius Malfoy, can see what is really happening to the planet. The muggle's are damaging the planet in such a way that it is making the weather act strangely and as such causing all types of damage..."
"And us?" Harry asked, unsure if he really wanted to know though his decision was made for him as Arthur gave him a grave look and Bane placed a protective hand on his human half's back.
"We are destroying Magic...if the muggle's are destroying the planet's body then we are destroying its spirit," Arthur explained with a heavy depressed sigh. "If we do not find a balance between the Dark Lord's and Dumbledore's ideals than one day soon we will wake up to find ourselves with a world that holds nothing but death, pain, suffering and destruction."
End of Drabble.
