We finally get to see James and Logan again. This isn't very long, so I'm sorry. Hope you enjoy it. I don't own anything that I don't own.

It had been hours since they'd left James in the cell to await Natalya, and the paranoia was getting to him. Eve had remained stoic since their first conversation, no doubt trying to put herself in a better place. They'd done this to him on purpose, warn him of Natalya and then leave him to wait and drive himself crazy with the worst possible scenarios. Finally he heard high heeled shoes walking in his direction and panic began to bubble up inside. She was here.

When he first saw her he couldn't believe it, that she could look so human. Her image was beautiful, hourglass figure, full crimson lips, bright emerald eyes lined with mascara, and luscious blonde hair. But there was deadness to her eyes, and he guessed it was there for a reason. Eve moved to the corner when she noticed the shadow of Natalya on the cell floor, hoping she'd be given mercy this time.

"Mr. Diamond, I'm afraid J has told me about you," she hissed, her tone intimidating enough to make a snake wet itself. "My job is to break those that do not comply. I will enjoy breaking you." The cell door opened and once again numerous guards rushed in to grab him.

This time he was dragged into a medium sized room, where an operating table was placed in the center. A table of surgical instruments and a box likely containing more torture tools had been placed beside it. They strapped him down so tightly he lost most of the circulation in his wrists and cut his shirt open. He noticed that the room was being lit by a furnace, casting an orange light over the faces of his captors. Natalya strolled in with a wicked smirk.

"This is your last chance," she told him. "Who told you about the flash drive?"

"Your mother, while I was on top of her," he replied. It wasn't his most creative comeback, but it got the point across.

"As you wish," she stated. She reached into the box and pulled out a sword, brandishing its long blade inches from his face. They wouldn't stab him with it, so he dreaded what they would use it for. To answer his unspoken question, she strolled over to the furnace and opened it. Realizing her intentions, he started thrashing around to break loose of the straps. It was no use, as they held him down and watched her stick the blade into the furnace. The blade came out colored orange, heated enough to burn.

It hovered around his body, so close that he could feel its heat without even touching it. Then it pressed down on his chest suddenly. He couldn't help himself; a scream came out so loudly that it filled the room. This made Natalya grin even wider as the pleasure of causing him pain rose inside her. The blade rose and he saw the burned flesh turning pink. She repeated this on his lower right arm, and this time he had to bite his lip. If it killed him they would not make him scream a second time.

"You are known for being the face of Big Time Rush," she reminded. "But what if I were to ruin that face?" Her hand pressed the heated blade on his cheek, searing the flesh so bad he began to lose sensation. He gritted his teeth and jerked about, proving a difficulty for all of the guards holding him down. When Natalya was done with him she took the blade away and stared at him for a long time, observing the damage.

"I'll kill you bitch," he whispered, just loud enough that she could hear. This seemed to amuse her, as she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.

"Keep resisting, that's just what I want," she told him. "I have all the time in the world to make you snap. Take him back to his cell." He was silent as they yanked him back down the hall and threw him facedown onto the floor of his cell. Once they were gone, however, he finally allowed the pain to overtake him.

Logan was standing in the middle of a gravel road, and James was with him. There were no other cars, no animals in the sky, no anything. A grey singular cloud covered their entire view of the sky, making everything dark. It was an eerie feeling, like something was about to go wrong.

"Where is everyone?" he asked, looking around for anyone they might know. All he got from James was a shrug.

"I don't know," replied James. "They all seem to be gone."

Together they walked down the road, looking for anything that could clue them in on what was going on. They passed a billboard but it was completely blank, a gas station was totally empty, and they couldn't even feel a breeze on their faces. It felt too strange.

"Hello boys." Both spun to face Link, who was watching them from behind with a wicked smile. "I was wondering when we'd find you." Five men came up behind them while they were distracted. Logan was grabbed and he started struggling, prompting James to turn around again. Link pulled out his pistol and fired one round straight through James' forehead.

"NO, James!" Logan screamed. There was a look of shock on James' face, then he fell and didn't move again. He kept struggling against the Syndicate men, but there were too many and he was quickly restrained. Link raised the gun again and pressed it against the side of his head.

"We killed them all, Logan," gloated Link. "Everyone last man, woman, and child. Now it's your turn."

Logan's eyes shot open and he sat up, sweating profusely. It was just a nightmare, that was all it was. His hands were shaking so severely that he couldn't even use them to get to his feet, when he tried he fell back on the air mattress. In reality he was in Drew's apartment, having fallen asleep when the exhaustion got to him. Drew wasn't in the room, but he wouldn't have left the apartment. He couldn't go back to sleep right now, the thought scared him.

In the living room, Drew sat in his chair going through security cameras on his laptop. Everything was running the way it was meant to inside the Syndicate underground. So far he hadn't detected anything of note going on in their operations, no new targets that they had talked about.

As he was absorbed by security footage, someone suddenly rang the doorbell. His head perked up and he started to overthink. Logan came out of the bedroom, anxious and looking as if ready to bolt.

"What's going on?" he inquired.

"Stay hidden, I'll find out," Drew instructed. Logan hid in a corner as Drew crossed over to the door. He knelt down a few feet from it and pulled out a loose floorboard, which he'd installed himself to keep things hidden. Inside was an assortment of weapons, from all types and all sizes. He picked up his Glock and tucked it into the back of his jeans, walking to the door. When he opened it he expected to see Syndicate agents standing there, but it was just a group of girls.

"Are you Drew Hartfield?" asked the smallest one, a feisty looking brunette.

"Who would you be?" Drew asked back.

"My name's Katie Knight," the little brunette answered. Logan must have heard this, because he came out of the corner.

"Katie?" he questioned, moving over to the door. The three girls registered the familiar voice and pushed past Drew, staring in shock at Logan.

"Is that you?" inquired a taller brunette, not believing her eyes. Drew figured they were connected to Logan, probably close friends.

"It's me, Camille," Logan stated, just as shocked. "How did you find me?"

"We were looking for Drew," Katie explained. "73 Needler Lane." Drew smiled, someone had finally figured out his puzzle.

"I thought someone had kidnapped you," Camille stated. She walked up to Logan and slapped him right across the face.

"Honestly I can't tell if you're mad at me or if you just do it because," he told her.

"You could've been dead, you could've been tortured, and I would never have known because you left without saying anything!" she yelled. Okay, so she was pissed.

"You don't understand," he tried to reason.

"We wouldn't understand, because we knew nothing!" Katie chimed in, also angry.

"Hey, leave him alone!" Drew interrupted. He knew the state Logan was in, and it was not one to be putting more stress on him. "I asked Kendall to steal something, the guys helped him, and someone wanted them dead. If they didn't leave they would be. Unless you know exactly what happened to Logan last night back off." Everyone became quiet, not knowing what to say.

"I'm sorry," Camille told Logan. Logan nodded, hugging her tightly.

"We're here now," Katie stated. "And we're not leaving, so fill us in." Logan looked at Drew and Drew shrugged. At this point, they were in too deep to dig themselves back out again.

Just outside the Palm Woods, Griffin stood in the parking lot watching people go by. Jennifer Knight had left a long time ago to go file a police report with Kelly and Gustavo. He was processing the text he had just been given by Link, ten minutes ago and he had counted every second of it. Despite everything, he had liked the Knights and the other members of BTR. But this job did not allow for a heart, and it had stopped beating many years ago.

Katie Knight had escaped with Camille Roberts and Jo Taylor. The three girls now had gone into hiding just like the three BTR boys. Link knew the only way to draw the kids out was to cut them as deep as they could. He had three targets, and very specific instructions for each one of them. After they filed the police report Jennifer would be going back to Rocque Records with Kelly and Gustavo. Kelly was to be captured and brought back to the underground as leverage against James. Gustavo was supposed to be critically injured and left to set an example for the rest of the Syndicate runaways. And Jennifer Knight… Kendall shouldn't have taken the flash drive.

Poor James, poor Logan, poor everyone. What's going to happen to Jennifer? By the way, the poll is still open. Right now there is a three way tie for first. Keep voting, you can use the poll on my page or PM me or leave your votes in a review. Depending on how much response I get I might say who's in first next update.
