Casiel: Hey guys guess what! I didn't die, I just went to college. I am sorry for not posting for a while. But here to say Hi is Kikyo.
Kikyo: Hello (bows)
Casiel: So…Kikyo how do you feel that fans have called you a clay pot in fanfictions?
Kikyo: I don't really want to talk about it…..it's a touchy subject.
Casiel: Okay will you at least say the line?
Kikyo: Casiel does not own Inuyasha or Naruto if she did she would not be going to college….or writing fanfictions for that matter.
Casiel: so there you have it let's get this long overdue chapter rolling.
Kamaeko's battle
Last Chapter.
So we are in agreement?" she asked
"Yes you take him and I never have to deal with the demon again."
Gaara looked down. So it was true. His father had hired someone to take him out into the desert and do away with him. He knew this day would come. His father had already tried to do that once with his uncle as the assassin. The woman lowered herself so that they were eye to eye and smiled a loving smile.
"Come on honey. You're coming to live with us you don't have to live here ever again"
"Really?"
"Really I'm your new mommy." She said as she hugged him without any resistance.
This Chapter
After the ragtag group had finished eating Kamaeko stood up and looked over to Sango.
"Sango-san I have something that I would like to show you. You are the first Demon slayer that I have come across since our dojo was built and it seems that some of your people's weapons have made it into my store. Since they belong to your clan I would like for you to take whatever you want."
"That would mean the world to me!" Sango said with watery eyes
And with that Sango followed Kamaeko out of the sliding doors and into a beautiful garden. The garden was huge with many sakura trees along the edges and a perfectly round koi pond in the center. This koi pond only seemed to have two fish in it. Sango noticed with surprise that the fish were as different as the sun and the moon. One of the koi fish was as white as the snow that Sango had seen on one mission to the mountains. The other was as black as the night sky on a new moon. Pink azalea bushes that reminded Sango of her normal demon slaying armor surrounded the koi pond on all sides but one. On the open side was resting a beautiful stone bench with the carving of yin and yang on the seat by an experienced craftsman.
As the two women exited the garden the dojo came into sight. Sango's excitement grew. It would be nice to see some of her clan's weaponry again, but as they passed by a tall row of hedges two hands appeared out of nowhere and yanked Kamaeko into through an opening in the bushes. Sango rushed through to find her host battling none other than the half demon's brother, lord Sesshomaru.
She was about to jump in when Inuyasha, Miroku, Kikyo , and the children appeared. Shippo, upon noticing that the adults were all in fighting stances told stated in a loud voice that Kamaeko could take care of herself. And as the other adults stared in wonder they realized that what Shippo had said made held truth. Kamaeko was holding her ground very well. At the moment Sesshomaru had not pulled out his sword or his poison whip but instead was fighting the lady hand to hand. The fight was starting to look as graceful and planned as a dance. He lunged. She dodged. He moved to the left. She moved to the right, keeping them moving in a circular motion. After what seemed like five minutes Sesshomaru broke through Kamaeko's defenses and had a knife pressed against her delicate throat. The inugang got ready to leap in to help their hostess but she started chuckling soon followed by Sesshomaru who released Kamaeko and they bowed in tandem to each other.
"It has been awhile Lord Sesshomaru" Kamaeko said in a stiff voice her eyes twinkling
"Is that anyway to address me" Sesshomaru said in a voice that suggested he was up to something
Kamaeko smiled as she ran towards him and hugged him around the middle breathing in his scent. "I missed you Onii-san"
"And I you Imouto" he said as he smiled slightly wrapping his remaining arm around her small frame.
"Hold on a minute Sesshomaru the ice prince just smiled? And hugged someone? Who the hell are you and what have you done with my half-brother?!" Inuyasha stated confusion clearly in his eyes and features.
"Just because this Sesshomaru does not behave as such to you is no meaning to use such course language." Said sesshomaru like he was talking to a child
Kamaeko looks at the others sweetly and says "I am his sister by adoption, He is the person who taught me how to present myself as a Lady and also who introduced me to my lord".
"This is going to be one of those days isn't it?" Miroku asked as he left to go back to the gardens. The rest of the group continued on to the armory where Sango looked through the weaponry. Sitting on a shelf was a weapon that she knew all too well. It was her father's katana nicked from all of the battles he had fought and it looked like it had been polished that very same day. It was cared for just as her father had when he was alive. It was his prized possession second only to his children. Tears welled up in her eyes as she took the sword into her hands and held a piece of her father, the last thing that he had left behind. The hilt was the color of pure white snow with the beautiful bronze decorations that she remembered her father polishing every morning. The sword was as sharp as the day that her father received as he had sharpened it every day to the most perfect of blades.
"I knew that was the one you would go for" stated Kamaeko with wisdom in her eyes "when I found it there was a note hidden in the scabbard. Would you like to read it?"
"Yes please!" Sango said looking curious and excited at the same time. Kamaeko handed a scroll to Sango. This scroll was slightly weathered from the time it had been outside but it was still legible. It said
Whoever finds this katana,
I do not have very long to write this note so I will keep this brief. Upon my death this katana shall go to my heir and daughter, Sango. The life of a demon slayer is hard so if by chance Sango does not want this katana or is deceased before me it will go to the next in line my son, Kohaku. Sango if by chance you happen to read this note I am proud of the warrior you have become in your time of training. Kohaku do not worry for someday you very well might be the strongest demon slayer in the village. The village as a place is not important though. The most important thing is the people that you meet upon your journeys through life. Wear the heritage of being a demon slayer with pride and honor.
Leader of the Demon slayer village
Sango sniffed and hugged Kamaeko tight "Thank you so much!"
"I kept it polished because it was a beautiful weapon obviously used by someone important" Kamaeko stated with amazement "I had no idea that one day I would meet the person that this would be passed down to"
They spent the whole day looking at weapons and then proceeded to the dining room for supper where a secret would be revealed about Kamaeko.
Yah I'm sorry didn't mean to wait this long to write a chapter and its short too! T.T I am sorry. Well If anyone has any ideas just put them in the review box. I know the basics of how this story is going to end but I need ideas to get me there. A love ideas. ideas are good.
