they head to the gorilla position and get ready to go to the ring
after getting in the ring Coffey's entrance begins
the fans erupt into cheers for the iron king he gets in the ring and looks at Lincoln and laughs out loud
he won't be laughing when I'm done with him right Shane...Shane...shane Lincoln looks and sees Shane ducking behind the ring post
why are you hiding dude? Lincoln asks confused
he scares me Shane responds
the bell rings and the match is underway
Lincoln immediately attacks the legs in a attempt to take him down to his level
Coffey however doesn't seem effected by it and simply shoves him down and repeatedly stomps on his back
Coffey then gives him a couple of vertical suplex's followed by a few elbow drops and a few more stomps to the back he then goes for the cover
the ref counts 1 2 but he kicks out
Coffey picks him up only for Lincoln to start fighting back with everything he has Joe eventually stops him by hitting him with a German suplex and he bridges and once again makes the pinfall
the ref counts 1 2 but he somehow kicks out once again completely frustrating the self-proclaimed iron king of professional wrestling
ALRIGHT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Joe yells
he then grabs the sole loud boy and began to swing him around making Lincoln feel extremely light headed Joe eventually stops swinging only to lock in the Boston crab in a attempt to make Lincoln submit for the first time in his career
DUDE YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT TO THE BOTTOM ROPE I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! Shane yells at Lincoln
Lincoln's eyes shoot open as he begins crawling with everything he has left in him he eventually makes it to the bottom rope and forces the break Coffey waits the full 4 seconds to let go
Coffey try's to pick him up only for Lincoln to hit him with a couple of elbows and a headbutt Lincoln then connects with a body slam and a leg drop from the top rope then after that a ddt followed by a running splash the same combination of moves he's been using for awhile now he attempts to pick Joe up on his shoulders but Coffey whips him to the ropes him he runs back to him and Joe tosses him up into the air and catches him with a uppercut on the way down
Joe waits for him to get up and hits him with a running big boot and knocks him down Joe picks Lincoln up and puts him on the to rope and goes for a superplex but Lincoln stomps on the top rope multiple times causing Coffey to fall backwards into the ring Lincoln then goes for a top rope flying elbow drop
Joe gets up only to be hit by the move he has used to defeat his previous two opponents leaving the fans to assume that it is his official finisher he goes for the cover
the ref counts 1 2 3
Lincoln is once again victorious defying the odds again
they eventually make it to the backstage area and Mark Dallas is waiting for them
congratulations on the tremendous victory tonight I suppose you probably want to know about this new booking I have for you Mark says
yes sir So what is it? Lincoln asks
I will tell you at some point mark says as he walks away
what why can't you tell me now!? Lincoln yells at Dallas
well that was anticlimactic Shane says
well I now have a mystery booking at some point in the future...what do we do now? Lincoln asks Shane
ummm...go back to defiant? Shane says as if it's a question
...yeah we might as well Lincoln says
this new booking better be worth the wait Lincoln says to the reader
quick authors note I sincerely apologize for not posting a new chapter in awhile I've recently moved and I got completely distracted so I am sorry for lack of chapters but I promise the next chapter will be out by July 8th so be on the lookout for the next chapter
