"I have always walked alone. When I looked back, everyone was faraway

Even so, I kept walking. That was my strength

I'm not afraid of anything anymore, I muttered to myself

Everyone will be alone someday, living on in memories only

I fight so that I will be able to love and laugh despite of the loneliness

I won't show my tears"

Its almost 5 at morning. A familiar boat that sails with the group of four in their way to save the princess. A beautiful singing voice could be heard from that boat, singing a prayer for whoever listens to it. Such sweet voice, can make you sleep in peace, where you never want to wake up. The ocean was quiet, the wind slowly pushed the boat to a certain direction.

Its been 2 days since the trip started, and they are nowhere close to save their precious soul. They are getting closer and closer but they are still so far and the road ahead isnt easy at all. Even knowing this, they are heading there. Why? Just to save someone they love.

"Agh!" Kaito held his head as he woke up and stood from his hanging cloth, or was it bed? "A song?" He asked himself as he listened to the voice that flew through his ears. He walked out the cabin and followed the voice to the deck and saw the supernatural beauty of Luka as the wind made her hair fly and with her singing voice that Kaito thought, is so sweet and calm. He leaned on the edge of the boat and closed his eyes, the voice was making him imagine a big flower garden with all kind of flowers, the smell of the garden was a mix of the flowers smells, But when he opened his eyes, he could only see the darkness of the sea, the sun halfway up and the cold wind hit him. the peaceful feelings that came from Luka was really giving hope to Kaito, not mentioning how the Fish collected around the boat, Meiko and Rin was at the other edge feeling the hope of the song. Kaito's lips -unintentionally- curved into a smile. But someone was missing, at that moment, Kaito wished if Miku could be in his arms smiling along side him.

Once Luka finished, she looked back and saw the 3 looking at her. "Its a song Mom usually sings." Luka said.

"Surprisingly, you are not bad at singing!" Meiko said before walking down the stair to the cabin.

"Can i ask, why are you singing?" Kaito asked.

"Even if Mom isnt here, just singing this, doesn't it let you imagine being with the people you want to be with together in a peaceful place?" She leaned on the edge and put her hair back around her ear and continued. "I cant feel the song, but this song had been in my soul long enough that i can remember how i felt whenever i sang it back when i had my heart in me." She sighed. "Peace. Hope. Love. And pain." She looked at the ocean, the sun finally showed its light and the sea had reflected it. "Peaceful that you think you let yourself drown in the song without knowing where it would take you. Hopeful that you think you have something you can live for. Love that make my mom able to show her love properly to me. Painful that Mom sang it whenever she was lonely. But i cant enjoy these feelings, so i wouldn't know how peaceful, hopeful, and painful it can be, but i know that much." she put her index finger and her thumb a little bit apart from each other, showing Kaito and Rin the amount.

"Are you planing to stay heartless forever?" Rin asked, kinda sad.

"I wonder."

"Do you WANT to stay heartless?"

As Luka walked down the stairs, she whispered, "of course no." And then she disappeared into the cabin.

"Luka..." Rin hurtfully said. She can feel Luka's desires for feelings. But whose heart can she get to feel? Whose love will she receive when she get it back? Miku Loves Kaito. Maybe... Just maybe i can deliver my love. Let me love you, and i will show you how love can be delivered. Luka, don't only look at Miku. Rin was showing her sad face as she was sinking in her thoughts.

"Are you okay?" Kaito asked Rin.

"I-im okay." She fake smiled and ran to the cabin, being followed by Kaito.

"The food is almost ready." Meiko said as she prepared the simple breakfast.

The three sat on a wooden table and it was awkwardly silent.

"Umm, we don't really... Know each other... Very well..." Kaito found it nerve racking beginning a conversation with a heartless, a demon and his crush's best friend. "H-how about we... Get to tell each other our stories?" He smiled, hiding his nervousness.

"I don't have anything to say." Luka said as she kept expressionless.

"You guys are no fun." Rin rested her head on the table from boredom.

Meiko walked to the table and lifted Rin's head harshly from the table.

"Ouch,"

"Your in the way." Then Meiko started putting the dishes on the table. After that she sat beside Kaito. "Eat up." She told him with a smile. His plate has a great amount of food while Rin and Luka's had almost nothing.

"This sucks." Rin said disgusted as she saw the difference between her plate and Kaito's.

"Got a problem?" Meiko sent a scary look along the voice that made Rin shiver.

"Im sorry." Kaito apologized with a weak smile.

"After we finish eating, lets get the food's inside the cabin." Meiko said.

"Why?" Rin asked.

"The weather is getting worse and worse, its gonna get ruined."

"Alright, I don't even want to eat." Rin put her spoon on the table and stood up walking out the cabin. As soon as she walked outside, she realized Meiko's words were right, the clouds are black and the wind is getting stronger. Her sight fell upon the barrels that contains the food and so she walked to the barrels. She checked for the lightest one, she couldn't handle heavy ones with her small body.

She put her hands on the sides of the barrel and as soon as she lift it, something huge, really huge came from the water and smashed the side of the boat, sending pieces of woods to fly around, a piece of wood fell right on Rin's leg, unfortunately, it's tip was sharp, the barrel on Rin's hand fell as she was pinned on the floor in sharp pain. Her tears collected in the side of her eyes, not only because it hurts, she was scared.

The huge thing went back down to the ground, then showed up again, but now in full shape. Rin knew, that wasnt a creature you would normally see in the ocean. It was half like Len when he transformed and half like a dangerous fish. It has big-sharp Thorns covering its body, no eyes, no mouth, nothing at all. Just a huge bunch of thorns shaping like a freaking huge fish. A tear fell on Rin's face, and so she couldn't hold back herself, she let out a scream.

The cabin's door bursted open and from there Kaito exited running to Rin while Luka and Meiko ran towards the huge fish.

"Her leg is hurt badly." Kaito yelled. He tried to take the piece of wood out of Rin's leg but every time he tries to touch it, Rin's expression painfully change.

"We will guard you," Meiko yelled back to Kaito.

"It is going to be okay. It will be fast." Kaito said trying to calm Rin, but once he put his hand on the piece of wood, Rin automatically cried.

"D-don't touch, leave it as it is."

"But..."

"I don't want it to hurt even more."

"Done yet?" Meiko asked as she blocked a piece of wood the huge fish just threw.

"N-no..."

"Do something about it already!"

"I-its just..."

"Luka cover me!" Meiko said as she retreated from the fight and sprinted to the other edge of the boat. She looked at the runaway boat that was hanging at the side of the boat and then looked back at Rin, she decided and cut the rope that the runaway boat was hanging on. "Kaito, take Rin and run away."

"What?! No way.!" Kaito refused the idea. He can never abandon his friends. Meiko walked to Kaito and started bushing him until his hand met the edge of the boat. "What are you doing?"

"Sorry." She held his shirt and bushed him right on the surface of the runaway boat. He flinched in pain. Before he know it, Meiko threw Rin on Kaito, completely ignoring her injury. And after that, a compass fell. "Go east! There is an island nearby, if there is a doctor there, its good. We will meet at Leenluko island."

"Why are you doing this?" Kaito yelled. He was overpowered by anger.

"I love you..." She softly said. A kind and soft smile appeared on her face. There was only one runaway boat. If Kaito and Rin took it and ran away. Luka and Meiko will surely sink with half of the boat broken. A demon like Meiko could never sacrifice for a human or even another demon. But Meiko was different.

Kaito kept staring at Meiko in complete shock.

"I know... You are not worried about me." She weakly smiled. "And im fine with it. Just..." She suddenly changer her expression to a scary look, just a like a demon, her eyes started changing colors, her skin, for a second turned red. "...Hurry and Go!"

Kaito scared and confused shook his head and held the paddles moving the boat away from Meiko. As the distance between him and the boat widened, he started paddling slower.

"Kaito, Are we really leaving them behind?" Rin hurtfully said.

"Luka is heartless, Meiko is a demon. Im sure they will survive."

"Really.?"

"I..." He rethought his thoughts "maybe."

"I don't think we can attack it." Luka said. "Its full of sharp thorns".

"Then..." Meiko blocked a flying piece of wood. "What should we do?"

"If only we can seal off the thorns."

"I think we can." Meiko said as ran back to the middle of the boat, she pointed up.

"I see. The cloth!" Luka ran back to Meiko. As Meiko started climbing up while Luka is guarding her.

Finally, Meiko arrived to the top. She started tearing of the cloth. Before the cloth could fall down she held the side if it. "Hurry up." She screamed for Luka.

Luka climbed up as fast as possible and held the other side of the cloth. They are now as high as the demon itself. "In the count of 3." Meiko yelled. "1... 2... 3!" Both of them jumped as high as they can. Luka could swear she heard Meiko laughing. Was it fun?. Even though the cloth was heavy, they were still able to cover the demon completely.

Luka fell in the water while Meiko successfully managed to land on the boat. "Luka, now y-" Meiko was surprised that she couldn't find Luka anywhere on the boat. "LUKA!" She yelled.

Suddenly the demon let out a cry and in the blink of an eye, he vanished. Meiko was shocked, they didn't kill it. How? But she knew why when she saw Luka climbing to the boat.

"Nice!" Meiko did a thump up to Luka.

"The boat is sinking." Luka reminded Meiko. And Meiko let out a gasp.

"Theres only that."

"What that?"

Before Luka could think about anything. Meiko took a wooden board from the boat's leftovers and threw it on the water's surface. "Are you coming?" She asked.

"Yeah..." Luka said as she followed Meiko. Luka jumped heavily on the board which made Meiko lose her balance, she almost fell.

"Easy girl!" She angrily said.

They stayed still for seconds then Meiko realized something.

"I think we have a problem." She said.

"I know" Luka replayed.

The boat will move if there is wind to push it. But this is just a piece of wood. And at that time, both realized that...

"We are fucked up!" Meiko sighed.

There is an island in the middle of the sea, Kaito and Rin had finally arrived after a day. Kaito was carrying Rin, she couldn't walk at all. Actually, the wound is getting worse and worse, its getting polluted, they need to treat it as fast as possible.

"Excuse me." Kaito called for a stranger passing by. The man looked at Kaito and Rin, he widened his eyes and for some reasons, he looked the other way and walked away.

Kaito got confused, and so he approached another man.

"Excu-" and before he could continue, the man too, has ignored Kaito. And so he approached another one. "Can-" and he got ignored again. He asked another one, "ple-" and got ignored. Whats wrong with these people?. Kaito had no time for such stuff. He found a store nearby and though of asking the owner.

Kaito walked as he glanced at Rin once in a while to make sure she's hanging in there.

"Excuse me." Kaito entered the store. "Can i as you someth-"

"If you're not here to buy stuff, please leave." The owner spoke harshly. And kaito walked out confused.

"You have to rest." Rin painfully let out her voice. "We can both sit down for a minute, you are exhausting yours-"

"No!" Kaito interrupted Rin.

"Its fine, it doesn't hurt as much as you think." Rin smiled. One of the passing people accidentally touched Rin's leg as he continued walking. Rin flinched in pain and then smiled again. "See! I can handle it."

Kaito stared at Rin, with a weak heart, he couldn't accept this. "PLEASE!" He screamed trying to gain attention. "IS THERE ANY DOCTOR OUT HERE?" He looked around him, and with wide eyes stared at the people passing by. He was completely ignored.

"Kaito..." Rin hurtfully begged him to take a break, but he refused.

"Do you know any doctor in here?" He kept asking no matter how many times he was ignored.

Meiko and Luka still swimming in the middle of the ocean. They were panting heavily. A full day of swimming and no breaks. But suddenly a smile appeared on Meiko's face. "There..." She pointed to a huge rock. Suddenly both started to swim faster, using the last bit of their energy to arrive. Once they climbed up to the surface, they lied back with their heads almost touching. Pants were as loud as possible.

"Man, i knew the princess-rescure-mission was a fucked up plan." Meiko sighed as she wiped her face which was soaked. "We could've at least knew where we are if we had the compass.!"

"What! It isnt with us?"

"Well, i gave it to Kaito and Rin."

"Idiot!"

"Why am i an idiot? How can Rin survive without a compass.?" Meiko yelled in anger.

"How can we save Miku without a compass?" Luka coldly said.

"What about Rin?"

"I don't give a fuck."

"You're truly heartless! Thats why i hate you and those fucking demons!" She shouted one last shout and turned her face away from Luka.

"Every minute. Every seconds that passes... You don't know how more hits or beats Miku receives."

Meiko looked at Luka for a second then sighed. "There is only one way out of here but i think i have to rest a little bit." Before Meiko could think anything else, Luka was an inch apart from her face.

"I don't want to waste a second!"

"Back off, seriously." Meiko slowly bushed Luka's face away. "Its not that easy you know!" Meiko let out a long sigh before closing her eyes shut, and so fast she reopened it but now with whole different color, it was glowing gold. "Hey, father." She said to the air.

Is that telepathy?. Luka thought. Meiko suddenly flinched her face.

"Woah! Calm down..." Meiko was sitting still like a statue, nothing but her mouth is moving. "No...i..w- FATHER!" She sighed. "Hear me out damn it... Hmm? No, i didn't kill him yet. Yes. I need you to teleport me to him. To Raiskam. Yes, an island. I will, I will. Ok." She closed her eyes again and then reopened them, they were back to their's normal color. "Okay!"

She clapped her hands and stood up, motioned for Luka to stand up as well and Luka did so. Meiko walked to Luka and held her shoulders.

"Okay, listen out! I need you to look into my eyes directly, no turning left or right or I'll leave without you."

Luka nodded.

"Now, slowly enter my eyes."

"How?"

"Just imagine it."

Luka nodded. Meiko cupped Luka's face with both her hands and closed her face to Luka's. Luka -as she was told- stared directly into Meiko's eyes. Imagining herself enter those glowing-wet eyes and shooo-

Both of them were inside Meiko's eyes. Darkness filled the place. They were being pushed strongly towards a ball of light. They were arriving fast, to the point that Luka thought she was going to crash hard at it. But she entered inside it and before she know it, she was at the sky, falling.

"Woah! THE HECK!" Meiko screamed as had as she could, but they were falling fast, Luka had no chance to hear her voice from the strong wind.

"What did you do?" Luka asked.

"Fuck. Fuck. Fuck! It was supposed to be a little higher!" Meiko completely ignoring Luka's question, or... She wasnt able to hear. Meiko noticed Luka getting closer to her, and when she was within the reach of hand. Luka held Meiko's hand and pulled her closer to her. "W-w-what!"

"Shut up, useless scum." Luka hugged Meiko and rolled the both of them, so Luka would be the one crashing on the ground.

"What are you doing?" Meiko was shocked. There is no way she is sacrificing for me. Meiko's eyes got wider when she saw the ground as close as it can be, she shut her eyes close and a crashing sound was heard.

"Why, why, why!" Kaito kept murmuring to himself angrily. His breath became heavier. He hasnt slept for a whole day, he was walking for hours with the weight of Rin. Rin felt as though she was a heavy burden on Kaito which she was.

"Kaito, please... Stop it. I feel bad." She coughed as she hardly pleaded. Speaking is as hard as getting beaten up for Rin.

"I..." Kaito's leg brought him to a bench behind the noisy crowd, alone with a sleeping dog, Kaito heavily sat on the bench. He helped Rin to sit beside him.

He finally has to catch his breath but suddenly a young girl with a long blond ponytail to the side of her hair showed up running to Kaito, pinning him on the chair as she held a small knife near his neck.

He widened his eyes. He is already having his problems and now this.

"Listen... Outsider!." She rested her left foot on his stomach and continued. "I heard you making a lot of noise in here..." She pressed harder on her left foot. "...jerks like you need to get the fuck out of here." She stepped back and gave Kaito her back. "Outsiders are not..." She turned around to him with her leg in mid-air to kick him pretty hard. "...WELCOME IN HERE!" And she gave him the kick that he will never forget.

He kept coughing blood. The kick to his stomach made his state much more worse. The blonde charged her fist for yet another hit but Rin held her other hand with both her hands. The blonde looked at Rin, and knew that she was in a worse state then the guy. "Please, don't hit him anymore." The blonde was captured by the single tear that Rin tried to endure. And so she broke free from Rin's hand and walked away, "get out." She whispered enough for the two to hear before disappearing into the trees.

"Ugh!" Meiko felt a hard pain on her right shoulder. But her other shoulder felt totally fine. She heavily opened her eyelids to see that she was in pretty good shape. She tried to stand up, hardly struggling to move a muscle. Once she successfully stood up. She looked left to look at Luka's dead body filled with blood. Meiko opened her eyes wide, not because Luka was dead, but because she was standing up. "W-w-what the hell!"

"Crap, that was hard." Luka stood up and looked down at her blood filled clothes.

"H-how, w-why... I need explanation." Meiko said as she walked closer to Luka.

"Im reborn. Whats more is there to say."

"Reborn? Why... No, how?"

"I don't die until my heart does."

"I knew something was weird, you wouldn't sacrifice yourself for me!" Meiko laughed.

"Of course i wouldnt."

Meiko's smile disappeared. "Ahem..." She cleared her throat. "Just to let you know. teleporting takes a lot of time. So..." She looked at the sky and back at Luka. "...its no surprise that we've arrived a week later or more."

"What! But inside..."

"Yes, the teleported one arrive with a blink of an eye, because its a time wrap related stuff. In another word..." Meiko sat down on the ground. "...the time that we should have taken to arrive here, we've just skipped it, thats all."

"Kaito and Rin?"

"Who knows if they are still in this island!" Meiko shook her shoulders.

At this time Luka and Meiko realized for the second time.

"We-are-fucked-up Round 2" Meiko joked.
