I'd Lie – 3:50 (England x Seychelles)

Three girls strolled casually down the path outside of the academy. A light breeze blew through the campus as they chatted, and the soft afternoon sun bounced off of the pavement, bathing the scenery in golden watercolor.

The smallest girl, with blond hair cropped to her shoulders and a violet ribbon by her ear, was saying, "Did you hear? My bruder told me that the class president is going to be expelled for practicing black magic on school grounds!" Her emerald eyes were wide as she told her friends. "Can you believe it?"

The taller brunette adjusted her bags and snorted. "England? Pfft. About time! He should be replaced with somebody else, preferably someone who doesn't spend half his time shut up in a dark room, summoning demons!"

"…I, I suppose," Liechtenstein agreed, nodding her head. But then she smiled. "That means Seychellen won't have to work for anyone anymore!"

"E-Eh?" The third girl with dark complexion and pigtails glanced up sharply.

"Yes!" Hungary glanced at Seychelles. "If he gets expelled, no one will have to deal with his 'Busby's Chair' crap and burned-up scones anymore."

"Busby's Chair isn't 'crap'," Seychelles frowned, her hand stroking the collar around her neck unconsciously. "It's actually quite powerful. And the scones aren't always burnt, you know."

Hungary raised an eyebrow and her eyes widened as a thought flitted through her mind. "Really…! What, Sey, do you have a thing for the president after working for him for so long?"

There was a silence as the words settled in Seychelles' brain.

"Quoi?! Quelle absurdité!" she finally sputtered, her face suddenly flushed a deep scarlet. Her hand flew away from the collar, and she thought, panicked, that perhaps her stolen glances at the man had been detected by Hungary. "I mean—there is no way I'd…! Who in the world would like that eyebrow bastard?!"

"…Right…" Hungary smirked mischievously. "Of course you don't, Seychelle-szigetek."

"I don't!" Seychelles insisted anxiously. Her hand found its way back up to her neck as she started rubbing the collar again. It's mad that they're even having this conversation about that person! "There is something wrong with you two, thinking strange things like that. Mon Dieu…"

Liechtenstein watched her friends quietly. She said in a soft voice, "Seychellen, you don't have to hide the truth from us. We are your friends."

The dark-haired girl glared at Hungary before sucking in her breath and replying, a little sarcastically, "Bien sûr. Of course you are. But I'm not hiding anything. Only a crazy person would like that creepy Angleterre!"

"Only a crazy person…" Liechtenstein whispered under her breath, watching Seychelles and Hungary continue to argue about the class president. "But who says you're not crazy, Seychellen?"
