Chapter 10: ?
Normal POV
The group arrived at the hotel. Zeref and Sting went to get the room keys.
"So this is our stay thanks for helping us" Lucy said smiling
"T-t-this place" Erza was looking down with her hair covering her eyes
"Erza-san what's wrong!" Juvia panicked
Erza slowly pointed to a section in the brochure she got when she walked in. It read Bakery with coffee and cakes.
"Cake" Erza started giggling and dreaming of the cake she could get. Jade took the brochure. She smiled "It also says there is a fair in town. It opens at 6pm"
"Fair?" Gray smiled "Wow it's been a while since I've went to one of those"
"This is the perfect time to get closer to Gray-sama" Juvia said with hearts in their eyes
"I don't like where this is going" Lucy said under her breath
"Also says there is going to be comedy entertainment in the center of town with fireworks at 10pm"
"Natsu, I wanna see the fireworks!" Happy smiled "Ok Happy" He gave him a toothy smile
"We are staying here" when Lucy heard Erza said that her world stopped she stepped away from Erza and the other fairies when they smiled at her. An explosion was in her mind as if her world was ending.
"Heh…" Lucy got her spirits up "You guys don't have any clothes for the stay"
"Oh yea…. We will just go shopping" Lisanna said smiling Lucy glared at her but stopped because she had a positive outcome out of this. (It will come later. Hahahaaaa)
"Gray, Juvia go get our room key with Zeff and Sting" Erza ordered "ok"
Soon after all 4 came back with 3 keys "Only 3 keys?" Lucy asked
"It was all they had and 2 rooms have 3 beds while another only has 2"
"Alright then" Natsu said running outside. We all followed him and in his hand he had 3 leaves, 3 rocks, and 2 sticks. "Juvia can I have your hat?" "S-sure"
He threw all the stuff in the hat and shook it. Then he motioned for them to pick something out of the hat.
"Oh I get it, it's to see who will be in each room" Erza said
"Wow, your smart after all hot head" Gray laughed
"What did you say!"
"I'll choose first" Erza said putting her hand in. She got a stick.
"Next" Jade was up. She picked a rock
Lucy picked up a leaf.
Sting got a rock.
Lisanna got a leaf.
Rogue got a stick.
Juvia got a rock.
Gray got a leaf.
Natsu got a leaf.
And Zeref had a rock.
"So Group A is Leila, Gray, Natsu, and Lisanna" They shook their head but you could tell Lucy was angry because of her death glare towards the pinkette necause of his stupid idea
"Group B is Jewel, Sting, Juvia, and Zeff" Sting was about to object about something but stopped because Jade whispered something in his ear making him sweat bullets.
"Group C is Me, Rogue and the Exceeds"
"Why are we staying with you two?" Lector and Happy yelled "I wanna be with Sting-kun/ Natsu"
"They don't have enough room" Erza said
"Lector can sleep with me" Jade said
"There isn't enough room" Erza said. Jade then transformed into her exceed form.
"Now there is" Jade said smirking and looking towards Lecter giving him a thumbs up
"Oi….What are you?" Gray asked taking everyone's question except for Zeref, Lucy, Sting, and Rogue. Lucy stepped forward explaining about 'Jewels' power. (Only her transformations)
"AWSOME!" Natsu yelled while everyone else awed.
"I'll stay in this form for a while I guess" Jade smiled
Rogue stepped in. "Why are we all… together. I mean why can't Leila, Jewel and Zeff sleep together. Me and Sting sleep together with our exceeds and well… you sleep by yourselves."
"As I've repeated a thousand times… THERE. IS'NT. A. LOT. OF. ROOM." Erza said scaring everyone around her. "Do I need to repeat it again!?" "N-no"
They all just gave up on switching who they were bunking with. Only ones who didn't object of course were Natsu and Lisanna, the so called happy couple.
"The only thing I'm worried about is how Gray and Natsu are in the same room… Leila, I'm sorry to ask this of you but you're strict. Make sure those 2 don't do anything stupid. I'm still against the girls sleeping with guy's thing" Erza said "But the boys should behave themselves if they don't want to be punished by yours truly" With that all the girls sweat dropped while the boys gulped
All of them walked to their room. They set whatever stuff they had down and walked back out. Erza and Rogue were on the 6th floor. Jade, Sting, Juvia, and Zeref were on the 7th floor and Lucy, Natsu, Gray, and Lisanna were on the top floor, the 10th.
"Ok let's go shopping" Lisanna squealed
"Ok you girls can go shopping at those girly… shops." Gray said
"We are just going to go look around the town until the fair opens" Natsu said with happy on his shoulder "Aye!"
"ok so I guess all of us won't be in the same place so let's meet up here at 6pm" Lucy said
"Alright sounds good" Jade said
"Try not to be late!" Lucy said walking out of the hotel Gray got the idea and walked out too
"Says her. She is always late" Zeref chuckled
"Erza, Juvia! Let's go to the shopping center they probably have cool clothes there" Lisanna said
"Alright" "Jewel let's go see the magic stores." Zeref poked Jade "you can just read my mind"
"Let's go Rouge" Sting said walking "Where?" "hmmmm… I don't know"
"Idiot…"Rogue said under his breath "Did I hear you say something?"
"Come on Froshe" Rogue said carrying Froshe in his arms "DON'T IGNORE ME" Sting said going after Rogue
"Sting- kun waits for me" Lector said flying to sting and Rogue
Lucy POV
Why do they have to stay here! Gosh I knew it was a bad idea for them to stay here. AND I'm bunked with the 2 people I hate the most.
"This town isn't so bad though. I might as well enjoy it a little" I smiled
I walked into a store. It had very cute clothes. I walked around and saw stuff I liked so of course I bought them. I remembered the fair so I had to buy something…cute? I would need some help with this since it's been so long since I've had to dress up.
"Umm, excuse me but can you help me with what to pick out for the fair that's later today" I asked a woman near me. She looked about 25 years old. She had dark blue curly hair with green eyes, she wore a plain green shirt with jeans and white sneakers She was still pretty even with her plain clothes
"You are in luck, I work as a fashion designer" "Wow! Seriously?!"
"I may not look it hehe" she giggled "Especially with these clothes on"
"n-no you still look really pretty, but what are you doing in this small town"
"It's my home town I'm just here to see the family again. It's already been 2 years. I really do miss the place. I have a little brother he is 20 now, he should be working at the fair, I want to surprise him since his birthday is today. His name is Kole" She said while looking in the clothes for something for me, occasionally putting some shirts up by me to see how they would look.
"Wow you really do love your family don't you" I said then she looked up and said
"Of course, they are family even if they've hurt you, no matter what it doesn't matter in the end" I looked at her eyes, they looked sincere. She then gleamed as she picked up a outfit. She walked up to the register and bought it
"Oh you really didn't need to do that"
"No worries, my gift" She said handing me the bag "Make sure that you don't look in it until you're ready to dress up for your event"
"Thanks again" I said walking out but stopped and turned back "Wait I don't even know you're…name" I looked around the store but I didn't find her at all. Then I walked back out. "Strange". I asked someone outside what time it was and they said it was only 4:30
"I'm a bit hungry; I'll go find something to eat"
I saw a booth. An old man was selling ice cream. "I'll have one strawberry cone" I grin
"Can I have 1 vanilla also" Said someone beside me
"Wow, I didn't realize that you had a girly side to you" He said
"Gray what are you doing here"
"What do you mean what am I doing here? I want ice cream"
"Here is your ice cream" The old man handed Gray the 2 cones "Hey young man, your girlfriend is a cute one" He smirked at Gray
"We aren't together!" I said with a tint of pink on my cheeks "Sure"
Gray handed me my cone "Here you go"
We walked down the street some more enjoying our ice cream "Been a while since I had ice cream"
"Good right?" Gray said "Very"
"Gray, where were you headed?"
"Oh I was about to go head to one of the magic shops"
"Really? I almost forgot"
"There is one close by if you want to check it out"
"Sure" "Ok Lets go then"
At the Magic Shop
"I've been meaning to ask you. What is your magic?"
"My magic?"
"Yeah you don't use it and you seen really strong and I was thinking maybe you would join our-"
"No I'm not joining"
"Why?" "Lot's of reasons you don't need to know so soon, Even if I wanted to join I will be leaving this place for a long time"
"You're very mysterious; the fact that you tell me nothing makes me want to know more"
"Haven't you ever heard the saying curiosity kills the cat?"
"Well the cat will be out of the bag sooner rather than later"
"Haha good luck with that"
We continued looking in the store. I bought 2 potion bottles that were probably going to come in handy later and a music box. I liked the tune it had. Time went by fast it was already 6 by the time we knew it
"Gray we are going to be late" I said looking at gray "Also your clothes"
"Wha?! Where?" He looked around
"Doesn't matter anymore lets go back to the hotel" I grabbed him and ran to the hotel
Everyone else had already got there. We were the only 2 that had not got there
"Oh you 2 were together?" Erza said raising her eyebrow "We met on our way here"
"Oh no she is trying to steal Gray-sama from me. Love Rival" Juvia said in a corner
"Ok ok, lets go get dressed so we can leave" Erza commanded
We all went to our rooms again. The girls got dressed in Lucy's room while the boys got dressed in Erza and Rogues room. (Keeping that distance lol)
With the girls
Normal POV
"I've been practicing on my new transformation for this king of event. Prepare to be blown away!" Jade said winking and then glowed. She transformed into a 16 year old girl with blue eyes and dark purple hair that was in a messy bun. She wore white shorts that end a bit above her knee with a light pink dress-like top with silver trimmings. She wore flats that were dark green.
"Juvia thinks Jewel looks amazing" Juvia gleamed
"Thanks Juvia, You're trying to impress Gray right? Hurry into your clothes too" Jade said looking at the flushed Juvia "As well as everyone here, hurry up, we can't waste anymore time. The boys probably are going to destroy the place is we wait too long" All of the girls sweat dropped cause they knew it was true then they hurried and changed
With the boys
"Look at all theses stupid Fairies" Sting said taking his shirt off and putting on his attire for the fair
"Not as stupid as you Sabers" Gray Chuckled
"A stripper shouldn't be talking" Sting said pointing at him
"n-no I'm just….. Getting dressed that's all" He tried to make a cover up while picking his clothes to wear
"Ice princess, I'm so proud of you!" Natsu clapped with Happy
"Don't call me that!" yelled Gray
"Don't start without me" Sting said pumping his fist
"NO ONE ASKED YOU TO JOIN IN!" Gray and Natsu yelled trying to punch him but were stopped by someone
"Sting… Go get ready" "Rogue don't interfere" "Better me than HER" He said letting go of Gray and Natsu's fists
"Dang I almost forgot about that…" He said thinking of what she could do to him "Sting kun- they aren't worth fighting, your way to strong" Lector declared
"Rogue-kun, Froshe thinks you did a good job stopping Sting-Kun. He would've been….. Well, Froshe can't even imagine what would happen" Froshe said beaming
Zeref stepped in between the raven and salmon haired boy "You two better quit too, I've noticed your pretty scared of … Ms. Scarlet. If you don't mind stopping this fight I won't have to call her"
"Y-you don't need to get her we are friends!" They said running around the room changing and glaring at each other
35 minutes later: In the Lobby
Jade was at the bar having drinks in the lobby while Gray, Erza, Natsu, Lisanna and Happy waited patiently for the rest
"What's taking them so long" Natsu said with his head down on the table he was sitting on. He had on his usual black vest and pants but this time the trimmings were blue. He had his scarf on too.
"Nastu just wait a bit longer for them" Lisanna said petting Happy. She had on a orange sun dress with white heels. Hey hair had a orange flower clip on the side
"Only girls are supposed to take this long" Gray said looking at his watch. He had on navy blue pants with a dark green shirt and sneakers
"Just be patient you guys they should be down in another 5 minutes" Erza said enjoying a slice of cake. She had on her usual Heart Kreuz armor just without the armor on top. Happy still looked the same.
"There they are. Come on Lector" Sting said walking to the rest with Rogue and Zeref quietly following behind them "Don't get lost Froshe"
Sting had on a yellow V- neck with a black jacket, Brown baggy shorts with yellow trimmings. He had on black boots too. Lector had on his blue vest with a black glove on his right paw. Rogue had black jeans with a white dress shirt that was unbuttoned at the top and he had his jaket in his hand Froshe had the usual frog costume on but had an orange flower on his head. Zeref had a sleeveless tank top with red checked design on it. He had his Red hoodie over his shoulder. He had on Dark blue jeans with black boots.
They all gathered with the rest and waited "Now all that's left is-"Sting was cut off by the 2 girls walking toward the group. Juvia and 'Leila'.
"Haha, Speechless! What did I tell you Juvia, you look beautiful" Lucy Smiled at Juvia
"T-T-Thank you Leila-san. Juvia really does appreciate Leila-san's help" Juvia blushed. Juvia had on a blue dress that stopped at mid-thigh in the front then in the back, the tail, stopped below the knee. She had blue gloves that stopped to her elbow with white frills at the end. Then she had white flats that strap on.
"Anytime Juvia" Lucy had on a light brown dress that stopped at the knee with ruffles at the top and a bit at the bottom. She had on thigh high black socks with Dark brown flats also. Her hair was let down but was curled instead of straight.
"Wow you two look amazing!" Lisanna giggled "I wish I would've stayed up there with you guys"
Erza commanded "Ok let's go. We are all here now" We all walked to the fair. The fairies walked by each other and Lucy walked by Sting, Rogue, Zeref, And Jade. Froshe was in Lucy's hand while Lector was in Jade's. You could say the two go closer since Jade helped him be by Sting.
Lucy POV (Yeah her POV will be coming up the most)
After a while of walking I could see the fair. I saw all the lights and rides. It looked really fun. I could hear all of the kids laughing with their families and friends.
I remember the last time I've been to a fair. Wow I can't believe it's been so long since I've done the stuff I used to think was normal on earth. But it doesn't apply to the fair because this is my 2nd time being to one in my whole life since I was at the Heartifilla mansion. The first time I went was with team Natsu. I would've never guessed I would be with them on my 2nd time. I smiled at the thought of being here with my new family.
"Oh yeah, Froshe, You look adorable with the flower" I looked down at him "Rouge-kun gave it to me. He said I would look cuter"
"Well, he was right about that" Jade and Lector were talking to eachother and so I walked faster to get over to them
I Start to smirk "You two look like you are having fun" They stop talking and look at me
"Lector was telling me about the fair. It's my first after all" Jade answered
"Haha then I guess Lector can be your tour guide"
"I don't think he wan-""Sounds like fun I think it will be fun" Lector smiled at Jade and she smiled.
I wonder if Lector even knows what's happening.
We arrived at the fair gates and paid for the ticket to get in. "Alrighty you just need these bracelets. Show the bracelet to the person that works at the ride and you can ride it" The woman said putting the bracelets on the people in line.
When we walked all we saw were people. Kids, adults, Elderly. Just people. The place was packed. There was barely any room to just stand still. The lines for booths were long but the food looked astounding. The lines for the rides were even longer but they looked thrilling.
"Wow" I heard Natsu say under his breath
"Looks amazing!" I looked at Jade, her eyes were like a little kid and she had a tint of pink on her cheek because of her happiness.
"Ok if any of us get lost just make sure that we meet up at…" Erza said
"The hotel. All of us don't want to wait for that one late person to come back" Jade says looking at me. Making me scratch the back of my head
"Sounds good, I'm pretty sure when we all get tired we will go back to the hotel" Lisanna says
"Sting, Rogue. It would be a shame to see you throw up on the ride so I will help you out for the rest of the day" I took out a bottle from my pocket "take a sip of this stuff it will help with your... motion sickness" I try not to laugh
Sting smirked, took a sip, then passed the bottle to Rogue "Aww so thoughtful. Was I really on your mind?"
Rogue took a sip then handed me the leftover potion "Well… I guess I didn't want the Duo Dragonslayers to be the only ones that didn't have a good time. Unless you wanted to be-"I closed the top of the bottle and then looked Sting in the eyes and smirked "A Benchwarmer"
Sting winked at me "Haha Thanks for it then Leila"
"Hey, Is it ok if I have some too" Natsu said breaking up me and Sting talking. I thought about it.
"Ok, I'm in a good mood but you will still owe me Salamander" I passed him a bottle and watched him take a sip
"Thanks!" He said smiling. He gave me the battle and was about to hug me but I was pulled away before he got the chance.
"Come on, let's go" I was lead away into the crowd leaving behind everyone else
WOW FINISHED! Bet you guys are proud. I'm gonna be off for winter break! MERRY CHRISTMAS! I need you guys to tell me who jade should end up with? Sting or Lector?
