Airport

Gordo weaved through the crowd at the airport in search of a friend. He kept his eyes open for a girl with brown hair. He checked his watch to see if he got the time right; Gordo was spot on. The friend he was searching for had been in Mexico for two months. He was the only person available to meet her at the airport.

"Where is she?" he said to himself.

"Where's who?" a voice said behind him.

Gordo turned around. "My friend Miranda San-"

He smiled with teeth when he realized who it was. "Miranda!" he cheered, throwing his arms around for a hug. Miranda squeezed him tight, closing her eyes.

"Where's Lizzie?" Miranda asked.

"She had something to do, but you can see her later today."

Miranda pulled away and took a good look at Gordo. "I missed you, and Lizzie."

"I missed you too," Gordo said. "Rome would have been awesome with you."

"Yeah I'm sorry I missed it."

Gordo grinned. "You're not going to believe what happened during the trip."

"You kissed Lizzie," Miranda said.

"What? How did you know?"

Miranda punched his shoulder lightly. "Gordo, I'm Lizzie's best friend. You think she wouldn't tell me?"

"Good point."

Miranda laughed. "Let's go curly. You can give me the deets on the way home."
