Chapter 10

I crept out of my room, eager to go back in time. Time, you ask? Yes. My parents, Percy and Annabeth Chase (yes, the world famous architect and the Olympic Swimming champion since being seventeen) had always laughed at inside jokes and said that my siblings, Silena, Beck, Luke and I,were too young to understand them. But as the oldest (I am seventeen, Beck and Luke are thirteen and Sil is four), I made it my duty to find out what had happened. The twins had supplied me with an old time machine, and I switched the dial back nineteen years, unprepared for the overwhelming fog that engulfed me whole...

-TIME SKIP TO WHEN PERCABETH WERE TEENS-

"Urrggggh," I moaned. My head was hurting like crazy and I just wanted to lie down.

"Hey, who are you and are you okay?"

I looked up and I was unprepared for what I saw next. Dad... when he was seventeen. And I know this is kinda weird, but dad was actually... hot, for lack of a better word.

So anyways, I stuttered for a bit before blurting out, "Where do I stay?"

d- Percy replied, "Is your mom or dad not around?"

Before replying, I stifled a laugh, to which he let go, despite being confused. "Um, I have both.

"Hmmm..." he mused, "I guess Poseidon is the only empty cabin. Sorry, but the Big House is full, as are the other cabins apart from Zeus, Hera, and Hades. You'd probably be blasted by Zeus, blasted by Hera and scared by Hades so I guess you're with me. Sorry,"

I smiled a little. Great, now I can find somewhere to IrisVideo the others about what is happening.

"Um, Percy, when do I get to go to your cabin? I-"

"Oh gods, I have a girlfriend. Not you, too," Percy shielded his face with a cushion that had the cheesy words (in Greek) 'Health 4 Halfbloods' on.

I gagged, disgusted at the image that popped into my overactive brain. "No, no. I just need to um.. go to the toilet." Great excuse, Silver. Now he probably thinks you're mentally challenged.

Da- sorry, Percy, nodded mutely and then cried out in surprise. "Oh, I forgot! I'm Percy, and who are you, and what do you know about the Greek Gods, and ADHD, and dyslexia and monsters, um... yeah. I shoulda left it to Annabeth," he muttered at the end.

But as I lived with him, I was accustomed to his mad sentences; "I'm Silver Ocean Ja- Johnson and mythology is my favourite subject. I have slight dyslexia and major ADHD - I can't go a second without moving."

Satisfied, he nodded, said, "Welcome, Silver Ocean Ja- Johnson," and ushered me to the door of the big house. I let him guide me to Cabin 3, giving a tour on the way. " Athena, Ares, Demeter, we're here."

I scurried to his amazing bathroom, barely blinking an eye at the fountains etcetera. After all, I grew up with mom designing fountains and other water related stuff for dad.

I locked the door and took out my IVR (IrisVideoRecorder) from my back, switching it on.

"Hey Guys! When I email this to you, I hope Sil stops worrying!" I smiled brightly at the camera lense as I continued. "I met dad, and he is really cool, but kinda..." I peered around to check for sure I was alone, although I already knew I was. "...Clueless," I giggled.

"Anyways guys, I guess I gotta go or dad will think I have diorrhea!" I clicked on 'stop recording' and stuffed it in my back as I unlocked the door stealthily. Ok, not stealthily. More like a rhino.

NOBODY'S POV

In a few weeks, Percy and Silver grew closer and were almost like best friends. Silver was still IrisVideo-ing her siblings, but was confused as to why her mom wasn't there. However, soon Annabeth had her summer holidays and travelled to camp.

Annabeth POV

I smiled to myself evilly, Percy wouldn't suspect a thing. I crept into his cabin, hearing giggles, Percy's amazing laughter and the sound of popcorn. Hmm, Tyson must've been over, or maybe Rachel...

As the bathroom door was open, I pushed my way through the intricately designed door and cheered, "SURP-"

Percy and the girl- wait, the girl?- gaped at me. Popcorn had spilt on the beautiful girl's blonde princess curls that were almost a light brown hmm, the exact shade of hair that I envisioned my future daughter to have... NOT the time Annabeth. Her grey green eyes gazed curiously at me before recognition dawned and she shivered.

"Hey, Annabeth," Percy smiled and got up to greet me, oblivious to the rising tension. "By the way, this is Silver, a great friend.

"Great to meet you, Annabeth."She smiled too sweetly. Two can play at that game you're playin'

"Hi, Silver. Stupendous to meet you!" I was glaring daggers at her, but smiling and hoping she got what I meant.

She raised a perfectly shaped eyebrow at me, smiling. "Terrific, now c'mon Percy. We've got to finish watching Finding Nemo. After all, it's your favorite!"

I smirked and beckoned to my boyfriend. "Percy, Percy, Percy. Let's go to see Leo. Maybe he can make us matching necklaces with our names on,"

Up on Mt. Olympus, Aphrodite was watching with a sadistic smirk on her pretty face. Everything was going to plan...

Dun dun duuuun! No, this story is NOT ending. I was just on holiday in Portugal and Germany (and yes thanks, I had an AMAZING time) and a bunch of other reasons for not uploading this chapter, like the three day trip to France. I will be wrapping it up when it gets to twelve chapters if I am inspirationless by then (not a word? Hehe, it is in MY dictionary).

I have put a phrase in bold and whoever guesses it gets the character of their choice based on themselves and if they don't want to, then nominate another person.
