Hey everyone! Here's the next chapter! Sorry it's taking a little longer to update this, or any of my other stories. Thegreatonesapprentice (Maryn), her husband, and I are trying to get our costumes done and ready for Comic Con! We're going as the anamatronics from Five Nights at Freddy's, Lord of the Rings, and Steampunk. Two other of our friends are coming, and we've been trying to get their costumes, too. Also, I've now been scheduled about twice as much at work now that school has started back up again. So, sorry if it might take a little longer to update. I promise I'm trying my best!

Maryn:... Wow... Zaira is so nice, she actually tells you guys what's up, and I just post my stuff. You guys should feel lucky.

Zaira:... It's cuz I feel bad for not updating sooner. I love the people who actually take the time to read my, and our stories.

Maryn: *shrugs* Ok then.

Anyways... Here's your next chapter!

Zaira laid next to Sango, wanting nothing more than to get up and leave. She hated being on bed rest in this era, simply because she didn't have a laptop, or phone, or internet to keep her company. Not even a book! She grumbled a little as she forced herself up into a sitting position, leaning against the wall to support her. Her pained whimpering alerted Shippo who came in to check on her. Right as he entered the room, Inuyasha woke up, grunting in pain.

"Inuyasha!" Shippo exclaimed, heading over to the dog demon. "Are you in pain? It's to be expected. The Tetsusaiga protected you, but you still took the full force of the Wind Scar. You and Zaira both."

Inuyasha looked to the side, his eyes landing on Zaira who was bandaged across her entire upper body. She gave him a weak half-smirk as Shippo began to speak again.

"Even Sango, she shouldn't be moved for a while longer. She acts brave, but she got hit directly by the Hiraikotsu."

"Where's Kagome?" Inuyasha asked, his voice gravelly from being unused.

"She," Zaira supplied, "Miroku and Maryn went in search of food and more medicinal herbs. Heaven knows we need them."

Sango shifted in her sleep, gasping lightly in pain. Kirara instantly moved towards her master in hopes of comforting her.

"Wait here, Kirara. I'll go and get some cool water." Shippo said getting up.

Shortly after Shippo left, several soul collectors came through the walls and hovered over Inuyasha, alerting him to fully awaken. As soon as they left through the wall, Inuyasha tried to stand, grabbing his sword. "Is Kikyo near?" He asked aloud to himself as he used his sword to support himself.

Kirara started to hiss and growl, her fur and tails sticking straight up. Two of the soul collectors returned, heading for Zaira. Her gold-green eyes flashed red for a moment as red energy surrounded her. In a flash, the collectors were sliced into small pieces and disappear. Her eyes returned to their normal color as the energy faded from her. She let out a small sigh because of the energy she had used. It had taken what energy she had, and even with the sound of Shippo screaming for Inuyasha to stop, she couldn't gather up the strength to go out. She only could hope for the others to return quickly.

Maryn and the other did return quickly. And the second they did, Shippo told them what had happened. Maryn told the others to go on ahead as she ran inside to hand Zaira a cup of water mixed with herbs, telling her to stop complaining and drink it, if she wanted to get well again. Zaira made a face at the drink, hissing at it before sipping at horrible tasting liquid.

She then ran out of the shack, catching up to Miroku and Kagome in moments. Miroku was asking Shippo if Kikyo's Soul Collectors really did appear, and the young kit just confirmed that yes, Inuyasha had indeed been foolishly lured away by the priestess's creatures.

Maryn watched Kagome's reactions carefully. She was pretty sure that Kagome was probably asking why Inuyasha had gone to see the woman who supposedly wanted him dead. But they all knew that he loved her, though Maryn questioned just how much. After all, there was a difference between love and obsession!

Just as the group was getting over the hill, Inuyasha himself emerged from the fog, using Tetsusaiga as a makeshift cane. Kagome ran to Inuyasha, asking if he was alright. He fell to his knees, and didn't answer for a moment. Kagome went to her knees as well.

'Oh Inuyasha!' Maryn thought pleadingly, "Please choose your next words carefully! Don't say something that you or Kagome or both will regret!"

Before the hanyou could say anything, Kagome confronted him outright! Saying that him seeing Kikyo was written all over his face. But, the hanyou still didn't speak, causing Kagome to sit back on her feet and sigh in frustration.

"You can't even look me in the eye!" Kagome said, "You're always like that!"

"Hey! It wasn't a rendezvous or anything like that!" Inuyasha defended tiredly.

"Great!" thought Maryn, resisting the urge to facepalm at the moment, "Here it comes! Great work Inuyasha!"

"I know that stupid!" Kagome said with a scowl, the look on her face clearly saying that she knew for a fact now that he did see Kikyo.

It seemed Miroku was thinking and feeling the same things as Maryn, going by how his hand was on his face in a 'oh dear' kind of way, and shaking his head as well. "And what did you find out, Inuyasha?" he asked, dropping his hand from his face, his expression becoming grim. "Did Kikyo really give Naraku the Sacred Jewel?"

Maryn too, waited for Inuyasha's answer. He knew it was true, but she needed to play along with this timeline of the series!

"Yeah," Inuyasha replied, looking away.

"IN other words, Kikyo has joined forces with Naraku?" Miroku asked bluntly, making Inuyasha wince and snap back with a loud 'NO!'. All were silent, with shock on their faces. All except for Maryn, who still just waited.

"I don't know what Kikyo intends to do…" the hanyou started, "but…" He then stopped, seeing that Maryn wasn't looking at him, but behind her. He looked, and so did the other boys, all watching Kagome stomp away without another word.

"Kagome? What's wrong with her?" Inuyasha asked, only to have Miroku's staff instantly snap down on his head with a loud thud, much to Maryin's great amusement.

"Poor Kagome," Miroku said sadly, not even looking at Inuyasha. Shippo, always one to give his opinion on something, jumped up onto Miroku's shoulder and cried indignantly.

"I'll say! When she's been so worried about you, Inuyasha! Right?" he asked the two grown ups. Maryn all the while, was just shaking her head sadly at Inuyasha's great level of stupidity.

All Inuyasha did was make an annoyed sound and look away, slight guilt visible on his face.

Kagome meanwhile, was still just stalking away, lost in her own annoyed thoughts. "Inuyasha was so hurt… that Kikyo gave the sacred jewel to Naraku… yet he still defends her! Inuyasha, you fool!"

Miroku sat with Inuyasha, fixing his bandages and reapplying ointment to his wounds. Maryn was attending to Zaira, who still had yet to finish her drink, and Kagome and Shippo were helping Sango to sit up.

"Sango, are you alright?" Kagome asked worriedly.

"I can manage…" The hunter replied, grimacing as she repositioned herself.

"Don't push yourself!" Shippo added helpfully.

"Would you like some more medicine for the pain?" Kagome asked once Sango finished sitting up.

"I'm okay. Besides, isn't it dangerous to stay here?"

"Kagura was nearby, yes." Miroku answered, almost done with Inuyasha's back.

Sango looked at the two men before turning back to Kagome. "I'm alright. Kagome, go tend to Inuyasha."

Kagome stiffened before straightening up, her face full of annoyance. "Nevermind him! It seems he can walk." She said bitterly.

Miroku and Maryn both sighed, Maryn silently, at the tone. "Inuyasha," the monk started, "go apologize to Kagome. I'm caught in between and I don't like it!" The monk looked forlornly towards Sango.

Zaira rolled her eyes before nudging her friend towards the monk. Carefully leaning towards him, she whispered for only Miroku to hear, "Get your mind outta the gutter, monk!"

"Indeed," though Maryn. "Zaira! Finish that drink! I told you to have it gone before I got back! It's not even half gone!" the priestess said, sighing silently and shaking her head slowly.

Zaira looked down at her drink before hissing at it again. "But it tastes like cold leaf juice!"

Maryn sighed again. "That's because that's what it is! And it's going to help you get well! So drink it!" she said, scowling at the cat demon.

"But…" Zaira grimaced at the drink again, wishing she had dumped out the content when they had left instead of just thinking about it. Unknown to her, she had actually said those thoughts aloud.

Maryn cocked an eyebrow. "Oh really?" she asked simply, "Well considering you can't even move from this futon, I think I would have been smart enough to see where you left it. And not to mention the smell it would leave behind," she said, her face not changing, not even blinking.

Zaira stiffened, her ears falling back against her head, a little 'meep' escaping her lips.

"So…" Maryn trailed off, reaching for the cat demon with one hand, only to grab onto her ear tightly. "Would you like to drink it now?" she asked, holding onto the ear tighter.

Zaira mewled in pain a little from her ear being pulled. "Le'ggo! It hurts! I thought you were supposed to be helping me!"

"I admit this isn't the normal route that a minko uses for healing the sick and wounded…" she said softly, still not blinking as she stared at Zaira, "But considering how long I've known you, I know for a fact that this is the only way." Maryn then used the other hand to grab the other ear in an even tighter hold. "Drink it. Now. All of it!" Maryn said, her eyes starting to glow threateningly as she pulled back Zaira's head so that she could easily drink it.

Zaira mewled a few more times, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I'll drink it, I promise!" She whimpered, taking a few sips between each phrase. There was now only about one more gulp full left. Drinking it all at once, she whispered. "I did it! Please don't kill my ears! I love you!"

Maryn's eyebrow cocked higher. "Good kitty," she said, her eyes still glowing frighteningly. Then, as suddenly as it started, it stopped, and Maryn just smiled sweetly. "I knew you could do it Zaira! Thank you for doing what I asked so willingly!"

A shiver ran through Zaira as she saw the smile, and sweet tone. 'And people think I'm the demon...' Once Maryn let go of her friend's ears, Zaira's hands immediately went towards them, rubbing them softly.

Shippo blinked a few times at the exchange before walking over to Maryn. "I promise, Maryn-sama, I will drink whatever stuff you give me willingly and as soon as you give it to me."

Maryn gave a small gentle smile to the young kit. "Thank you Shippo! That's a good answer, and I'll hold you to that!" she said with a slow wink that only the kit could see.

Miroku nodded sagely. "Beautiful Maryn-sama, you truly do have a way with demons. Perhaps your influence could help with Inuyasha as well?"

"Doubt it." Sango and Kagome chimed together.

"I agree," Maryn said with another small smile.

Zaira pouted a little, but soon, both her and Inuyasha sat straight up, their attention drawn away.

"What's wrong? Inuyasha? Zaira?" Miroku asked on edge.

"I smell…" Zaira started, scrunching up her nose.

"-a dead man." Inuyasha finished.

Everyone's attention diverted to the two demons. "What? A dead man?"

Miroku and Maryn stood up instantly and walked outside to see someone walking towards the shack they were in.

"A demon came to our village." The man gasped out. "All the villagers have been devoured."

"Demon?" Kagome asked. She was standing outside holding Sango up for support. Inuyasha had come outside, too. Zaira stood at the entrance to the shack, using the frame to keep her standing straight.

"W-with a spider scar on its back!" The villager exclaimed garbled out. "H-help…!" No sooner had he said that, something seemed to flash out of his body and the man fell, his corpse started to sizzle as it turned black.

"No way!" Kagome shreeked. "He was dead all along?!"

"Told you we smelled a dead man." Zaira grumbled.

Maryn reached back without a word and smacked Zaira upside the head lightly. 'She's just a stupid schoolgirl, remember?' she gently reminded the cat demon in her mind.

"He was probably being controlled by Kagura with her fan. This has to be a trap." Miroku stated.

"A lure to meet the three demons." Inuyasha said thoughtfully, a glare set in the direction the villager had come from.

"What? Will you go?" Kagome asked the Inu, thinking he was crazy. "You can't, Inuyasha! Your wounds aren't healed yet!"

Inuyasha turned his glare towards Kagome. "I have no choice!"

"Sending a dead man here means they know our whereabouts." Zaira added helpfully, crossing her arms, her own glare in the direction of the horrid smell.

"Yes," Maryn added, "which means it's useless to try and escape."

"Well then, I'm going!" Inuyasha bursted loudly. "Sooner or later, they are gonna attack!"

Zaira pushed herself off the entrance way and walked towards Inuyasha. "I'll go with you. I have a bone to pick with them anyway."

The group was soon at the village. Or… at least what was left of it, which was really, hardly anything at all! All the buildings had been smashed, all the animals killed, and from what it looked like… all the humans and animals had been devoured.

They all heard the sounds of destruction not too far away, and could hear the demon speaking tauntingly. As they ran to kill it, Maryn remembered what happened after Kana appeared. 'Zaira!' she called mentally to her friend. 'Remember who we will be up against! Gakigbo! The demon who shall break Tetsusaiga! He can read minds remember? So be careful what you think!' she warned gravely.

Zaira's mind blanked for a moment, until a wicked smirk came across her face. 'Oh I don't think he'll want to read my mind after he sees if for a few seconds. But I promise I'll do my best.'

Maryn had a pretty good idea what Zaira had in mind, and she couldn't hold back the light smirk that came across her face. "Very well. Do your worst my friend, and let his mind be scared," she said, just as they all saw the demon himself. He was going to eat two little children that Maryn had forgotten were there, but thankfully Inuyasha jumped in to save them.

"Iron-Reaver, Soul-Stealer!" Inuyasha called out as he swung his sword, and claws towards the large, purple demon. The larger demon backed away, out of the dog demon's reach. "Run away!" Inuyasha directed at the two children who instantly listened.

The rest of the group arrived and stood off to the side. They were all stunned at what, or who, they saw. They had expected to see Kagura, but instead, they were met with a large horned, and purple demon.

"W-what?!" Miroku looked on in shock.

"It's the demon!" Kagome called out. "The one that has the spider scar on its back!"

Inuyasha growled at the demon. "So you're the third incarnation of Naraku?" He held up his sword, ready for a fight.

"Heh, heh, heh, so you've drawn the Tetsusaiga." The demon said, dark laughter mixing with his gravely voice. "You thought I was big in body and small in power, huh?"

Inuyasha started a bit "What!" 'He can read my mind...'

The demon ground out another dark laugh. "Of course, Inuyasha. I am able to read my opponent's mind. My sisters, Kagura and Kanna, were simply the opening acts, until I, Goshinki, made my debut!"

"Hah! You're nothing but a blabbermouth!" Inuyasha spit out. "You're nothing!"

Zaira and Maryn both nodded, sharing the same thoughts as the hanyou. The two girls tried their best to keep their thoughts in the present time, rather than thinking ahead.

Inuyasha jumped up and started to attack Goshinki, but the demon easily dodged out of the way long before Inuyasha was able to hit him. The incarnation was almost hit Inuyasha, who barely managed to get out of the way. When he landed, his hand instantly went to the wound on his chest, feeling it spasm in pain.

"Didn't I tell you? I can read minds." The demon said, as if speaking to a child. "You seem in pain. What? Have you reached your limit?" Goshinki taunted, knowing it would get a rise out of Inuyasha and push him even further to his limit.

"Damn you! I've had just about enough!" Inuyasha replied, starting to get fed up with the demon. "Take this!" He yelled, jumping towards the purple demon and attacking with his sword.

Goshinki's eyes flashed before he moved quickly and easily out of Inuyasha's path.

"W-what?!" Inuyasha asked, shocked, wincing in pain.

The large demon quickly quickly flashed behind Inuyasha. "I can see right through your swordplay!" As he finished speaking, his hand came down, smacking into the dog demon, sending him flying.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome called out.

"No! He's not in shape to fight!" Miroku said, worry lacing his voice for his friend. Holding up his wind tunnel hand, the Monk started to remove the beads.

"No!" Maryn shouted, looking up. "Naraku's poison insects are here." Sure enough, many of those wasp-like bugs were flying around Goshinki's head, preventing the Monk to help.

"Monk," the demon jibbed, "thought you could suck me up into that Wind Tunnel? Too bad I know all of your weaknesses." The incarnation sneered at the group.

"Kagome, forget about shooting your arrow at me. Before you draw your arrow, I'll kill you." Goshinki laughed at the girl.

"Sango, you can't fight." He sneered at the hunter who had to sit on Kirara to keep her strength. "You still can't move due to that blow you received from your Hiraikotsu!"

"Zaira, you don't fare any better. After getting hit with the Wind Scar, I'm surprised you're even conscious right now." The demon said with a toothy smirk. Zaira resisted the urge to shudder when his gaze had landed on her and he spoke. 'He's one freaky freak.' The cat demon thought with a hiss.

Turning his gaze to Maryn, "I don't even have to worry about you. You care too much about others that you'll stay here and protect these weaklings rather than fight me." Maryn just glared at the demon, clenching her fists and grinding her teeth because she knew it was true. She would defend her friends before fighting that freak any day.

When the demon finished his explanation of the group, Shippo became pissed. Jumping up onto Zaira's shoulder, the little fox shouted, "Hey! Why do you ignore only me?!"

"Don't worry, Shippo." Zaira said, patting her friend on the head, "He's just playing with you."

Inuyasha had slowly sat himself up, wincing with every movement to he reopened wounds. A sound behind him caught his attention. Turning his head in the direction, he saw the two children he told to scram. "You're the two kids. I told you to run! Why are you still…?" He stopped when he saw them clutching the ruined remains of, what he assumed, were their parents clothing. "Did those belong to your ma and pa?" When the young boy nodded, determination shone brightly in Inuyasha's eyes as he turned his attention to the oncoming demon. Stepping between the two kids and the larger demon, Inuyasha readied himself.

"'Unforgivable'…" Goshinki said, reading Inuyasha's mind, "'I'll kill him'... Isn't that what you're thinking, Inuyasha?" A dark smirk worked its way onto his face. "Don't make me laugh. You're merely a half-demon, Inuyasha. Demon blood courses through half of you, yet you still take pity on humans?"

"Shaddup!" Inuyasha yelled back at the demon. "I'll kill you!" Raising his sword, Inuyasha intended to use the Wind Scar.

"Inuyasha, you're trying to cut through the Wind Scar and blast me away." Goshinki jibbed.

Letting out a growl, Inuyasha said, "If you already know, then prepare to die!" Lunging forward, Inuyasha intended to execute his plan and defeat this demon. However, the larger demon had a different plan.

Letting out a roar, Goshinki broke out of the wind, causing the Wind Scar to fail.

The group of friends looked on in awe. "H-he cast away the Wind Scar!" Sango exclaimed, not believing what she saw. Zaira and Maryn stood by, not wanting to see what would happen, and doing their best not to think about it.

Inuyasha just seemed even more determined as he still headed towards the demon. "Then I'll just deliver a direct blow to your head!" Swinging his sword, intent on killing the demon.

Goshinki opened his mouth, catching the oncoming sword between his teeth. Power surged around the two, from the sword. "The Tetsusaiga is just another dog's fang!" The purple demon stated nonchalantly. As he said that, the blade started to crack, until finally, it broke.

The entire group, minus Zaira and Maryn, stood shocked at what they saw. Not only was that demon able to break through the Wind Scar, but broke the sword in half!

Spitting out the half that was in his mouth, Goshinki smirked, "I guess this proves that a demon's fangs are stronger."

Inuyasha stood there, not knowing what to do. His most powerful weapon, a sword from his father, had been destroyed. Looking up, he noticed too late that the demon's hand came towards him. Sharp claws cut through Inuyasha's clothing, reopening his chest wounds, and adding more. The attack sent the dog demon flying.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome called out in worry.

Inuyasha landed, what was left of his sword changing back into its smaller form. The hanyou just laid there, motionless.

A dark laugh came from Goshinki, "Inuyasha, your mind is a total blank now. Your sword is broken and so is your spirit, huh? Or, are you dead?"

Kagome let her emotions get the best of her, calling out to Inuyasha, she tried to run towards her fallen friend. Miroku rushed towards her, stopping her from getting too far. "Kagome, wait!" The monk stood between Kagome, and Inuyasha, and Goshinki.

"Miroku-sama!" Zaira called out as she saw the demon rush towards the two. Easily, the large demon batted the monk away as if he were nothing more than a fly.

"Miroku-sama!" Kagome called out as she watched the monk land painfully.

The dark chuckle of the demon filled the air. "Monk, even if you lost your life from deadly poison, you would try to suck me into your Wind Tunnel?" The purple demon taunted.

"Miroku-sama!" Shippo called out, Maryn and Sango quickly rushing to make sure the monk was alright, Maryn starting to check for bad injuries immediately.

"Don't rush to your death. I'm going to devour you one by one anyway. I'll start with you, Kagome." Goshinki said, his twisted grin forming as stared at the girl.

"Like hell!" Zaira said, rushing in front of Kagome, letting out a hiss.

"Oh? You think even though you're a demon, you can defeat me?" The incarnation laughed. "Not even you can hide your thoughts from me, not matter what you try."

Maryn sighed, her heart starting to pound. 'Careful Zaira,' the minko thought warningly 'Don't do anything else stupid!' she thought, knowing that she probably would anyway...

Zaira hissed, doing everything in her power to not think of how she would attack. Instead, she thought of all her favorite fanfiction pairings, hoping some of the weird Inuyasha pairings could throw him off as she lunged in for an attack. Her claws extended as she slashed out at the purple demon. Goshinki, however, was still able to read the little demon's mind. Zipping away from her, Zaira missed the demon pathetically.

Landing quickly, Zaira tried to blank her mind as she dodged one of the demon's attacks. Landing back between Goshinki and Kagome, Zaira hissed at the demon who chuckled at her. Growling, Zaira's eye teeth lengthened in annoyance, "Will you stop with that stupid laughter Freaky McFreak!" The demon simply laughed even more. 'Keep calm, Zaira. He knows this will get to you. Just try to kill him, quickly!'

"You can't even jump without wincing, what makes you think you can defeat me?" Goshinki taunted before shifting his position to right in front of Zaira, slashing at her with his claws.

"Gah!" Zaira exclaimed being thrown, her wounds reopening, new ones bleeding out. She skidded, landing in front of Kagome.

Maryn's heart froze. 'No!' she thought, her eyes wide, though she didn't say anything out loud.

"Zaira!" Kagome exclaimed, running towards the cat, helping her to sit up. 'Inuyasha! Inuyasha!' The girl thought desperately, hoping that Inuyasha was still alive and could save them.

"Fool." Goshinki sneered. "Inuyasha is already-" The demon stopped mid sentence, his eyes widening. Turning around, horror filled him as he saw a blur that looked like Inuyasha come rushing towards him. In a flash, Inuyasha cut through the purple demon's arm, slicing it clean off.

"What's the matter Goshinki," Inuyasha asked, his voice sounding gravely as he cracked his knuckles, "I thought you could read my mind!"

Maryn's face became strangely, almost frighteningly calm. 'It's finally happened,' she thought simply. 'Be careful Kagome,' she thought, her eyes never leaving the hanyou turned full demon.

Zaira stared at Inuyasha, noticing that his eyes had become red, his eye teeth long and sticking out of his mouth. A shiver ran through her as she remembered what happened to Inuyasha at this part in the anime, as the demon's scent changed.

"I don't understand." Goshinki said, turning away from the two girls to look at the dog demon. "Inuyasha, why have you transformed?"

"Che! Who knows?! Before you worry about me, say your prayers, Goshinki."

Said demon, looked on, confusing flashing across his face, before anger ran through his entire body. "You half-demon! I'll rip you apart with my fangs!" The incarnation declared, rushing towards Inuyasha.

Jumping up easily, as if he had never been injured, the hanyou declared, "The demon blood that flows through my body, isn't like yours!" Growing his claws out, he headed an attack towards the larger demon.

"You half demon-" Goshinki started as he opened his mouth to rip Inuyasha apart.

"-is in a class much higher than you!" Inuyasha finished. With those final words, his claws slashed through the demon, easily killing him.

Everyone watched as destroyed parts of the demon rained down around Inuyasha as he landed. Their faces a mixture of emotions.

"Goshinki! I enjoyed that!" Inuyasha said with glee, the smell of bloodlust coming off of him.

Kagome was nearly shaking as she slowly stood up with Zaira. "Inuyasha," she whispered, "Inuyasha, what happened to you?!" Taking a step forward, she called out to him, "Inuyasha?"

A deep growl came from the demon as he turned towards the sound. "Don't get near me!" He yelled, causing Kagome to back up into Zaira. "I don't know what I'll do next!"

Shippo poked his head out from behind Maryn, "What's happened to you, Inuyasha?!"

"The evil side of Inuyasha is growing stronger." Miroku answered.

"Yes," Maryn agreed, "he's just like a full blooded demon, now."

Kagome shook her head as she started to walk, again, towards her friend. "Inuyasha," she said carefully, "the enemy is gone."

"Don't get near me!" The demon screamed, not wanting to hurt Kagome, even as she continued towards him.

"Kagome!" Shippo shouted.

"Don't go near him, Kagome!" Miroku added, afraid of what Inuyasha could do. "Watch out!"

Maryn didn't say anything, she just watched. She remembered what would happen, and she just felt bad for Inuyasha at this point.

Kagome paid no heed to the others, walking right up to the demon, staring into his eyes. "Inuyasha… Sit!"

Inuyasha face planted into the hard ground as the beads around his neck activated to their spell. Looking up, he glared at Kagome. "W-what're you doing?!"

Everyone stared at his eyes which were no longer red. "He's back to normal." Sango said, shocked. Miroku and Shippo nodded in agreement. Zaira let a small breath out once she was sure the smell of bloodlust was gone. Maryn closed her eyes for a moment and just shook her head slowly, holding back the smile that wanted to come out and keeping her calm face..

Kagome knelt down in front of Inuyasha, throwing her arms around him as she cried, "I'm so relieved, Inuyasha!" After a few seconds, both of them blushed, Kagome pulled away. "What's the matter?"

"W-what I…" Inuyasha trailed off softly, turning his gaze to his broken sword. The rest of the group doing that same, most wondering what would happen next.

Haha! There you go! What do you all think, so far? Well, until next time!
