I know what you are all thinking: FINALLY AN UPDATE! And you're right, this is an update. So sorry for the wait I've just been uber busy. But now I am on summer vacation so I have the time to write. Now without further ado, enjoy chapter 10!

It's been two days since Ethan and Benny had hung out. Benny was beginning to get really annoyed because it was mostly his pack that was preventing them from doing so. They've been more overprotective than usual, probably because they were getting suspicious. And his ex girlfriend keeps flirting with him which resulted in an increase in his annoyance.

"Anne, for the last time: I do not want to get back together with you!" Benny told her, trying to stay calm.

"Why not? We're perfect for each other." She responded.

"No we're not. Leave me alone." Benny said, walking away. Anne growled slightly as she watched him.

Benny re-entered the school building and waited for the bell, before walking to geometry, which was one of the classes he shared with his boyfriend. He walked into the room and sat in his usual seat, before looking around to see who else was in the room. Benny smiled when he noticed Ethan sitting next to Erica on the other side of the classroom. He stood up and walked over to them, nobody else was there so it was okay. "Hey, E." he greeted.

Ethan smiled as he looked up. "Hey, Benny."

"I've missed you."

"I've missed you too.."

"I'm sorry that I haven't been inviting you over lately or coming to your house. The pack has just been a little overprotective."

Ethan nodded in understanding. "They probably just want to protect their 'chosen one' since the battle is happening soon."

"Yeah," Benny agreed. "I'll call you later." he told Ethan before going back to his seat. Right when he sat down some more students entered the classroom.

Ethan sighed and rested his head on his folded arms.

"Did you two get into a fight or something?" Erica asked him.

Ethan shook his head. "No.. we just haven't go on a date or hung out in two days. I've tried to go over to his house but the other wolves scents are always there. And when I try to invite him over he says no."

Erica hummed. "I saw him talking to some girl before class."

"You did?" He asked, a strange feeling overcame him when he heard this.

"Yep," She nodded. "But I'm sure it was nothing. You're not jealous are you?"

"Of course not! Why would my boyfriend talking to some girl instead of talking to me make me jealous?"

"I don't know. Ask yourself because you sure sound jealous."

Ethan rolled his eyes. "I'm not jealous okay."

"Whatever." Erica crossed her arms and looked away.

Benny was currently taking a walk in the park, he wanted some alone time but unfortunately the other wolves had followed him. Almost all of them stayed a good distance away, except Anne.

"I just don't understand why you don't want to get back together." She said.

"Hmm, maybe because you bit me and turned me into a werewolf!?"

"You can't honestly be saying you don't like being a werewolf."

"That is what I'm saying! I don't like being a werewolf. Sure the speed and strength is cool but everything else is not."

Anne frowned and grabbed him by the shoulders, pulling Benny closer and kissing him on the lips.

Ethan sat in one of the chairs in the council room. Anastasia was going over some stuff for the battle which was 'important'. To tell the truth; he had zoned out fifteen minutes ago. Ethan was brought out of his thoughts by a perky voice asking him a question.

"Dude, are you alright? You're missing out on all the cool stuff." A blonde boy told him.

Ethan nodded. "Yeah I'm fine. She's already told us all this stuff though so I'm kinda bored."

"Oh, she did? I guess I missed that meeting.. I'm Rory by the way!"

"I'm Ethan."

Rory grinned and Ethan smiled back. Maybe there were some vampires who were genuinely nice.

Benny gasped and pushed her away. "What the fuck!?"

Anne just smirked and kissed his cheek before walking away, leaving Benny standing there in shock.

How was he going to tell Ethan? Or more importantly: should he tell him at all?
