Update! This chapter is more of a bonding chapter and it is different than the anime. It has fighting and fluff I hope you enjoy it!
The group of young men finishes their shopping trip and of course Usko is whining for food. "I need food! I am dying! Feed me!' The blond is begging his friends to stop for food.
"Ok there is a fast food restaurant near here. "Maski says to his friends and Usko just runs towards the food.
The blond orders five cheese hamburgers, three large fries, twenty chicken nuggets, and one extra large strawberry milkshake. He sits down and his food covers one table. His friend grabs some food as well. Usko stuffs his face and his friends stare at him as if he is an animal.
"Is this the same person we saw this morning or did he morph into a beast." Ren asks his friends and they shrug.
"I might do some tests on Usko's blood. There might have been other changes in this body. He is eating more than usual which I didn't know was possible." Amorko says as he observes his friends reaction.
"My blood?" Usko says with food in his mouth and is a bit scared. "I don't like needles." He cringes at the thought.
"You can fight monsters but you are sacred of needle? Come on Usko-san. It is not that bad." Masuto giggles at the blond and pats him on the back.
The young men laugh at their leader and he is not to fond of the idea.
"We could find some useful information about you." Ren states and the other nod in agreement.
Usko sighs and hates his idea."Fine, can we do it sooner rather than later?" He asks in a sheepish tone and looks down at the floor.
"Tomorrow morning but you have to fast the whole night." Amorko says and sees Usko freaks out.
"Not eat for a whole night? I will starve." Usko says but sucks it up. "That is fine. I can do it." He smiles at his friends and glad that they are here to help him through the hard times.
"I will make sure of that." Leo says and watches Usko at all times.
"We have to train tomorrow as a team. However, Usko-san you are the target." Masuto says and punches Usko's shoulder which is pretty hard. He rubs his hand and acts as if nothing happened.
"Fine. I can take you guys on. I am the prince of the moon. I am like an instant bad ass." Usko leans on his chair and gloats.
"Careful with your words prince being arrogance does not help you win. You are rusty with a sword. That is why we are here to help you." Maski points out and Usko falls out of the chair.
They laugh and Usko laughs at himself. His friends get him up and help him with his bags. They walk back to his house and make a plan for tomorrow.
"Usko-san , you have to come to Ren's house at seven am, I will draw the blood, we will eat breakfast, and then it is training time. You got that?" Amorko explain the plan to his friend.
"Yes. I got this. I will be on best behavior I swear. I have Leo to watch me." Usko says with a fake smile but he has to make sure they think he is ok. He walks his friends out of the house and promises to see them tomorrow.
Leo is worried about the prince and feels like he is putting up an act. "Usko-san you know that you can talk to me. I might just be a cat but I helped your father a lot." The cat jumps on the bed and looks at the blond.
"I am fine. Thanks, Leo. I have to unpack these clothes and rest for tomorrow." He pets the black cat behind the ear and under the chin. "Relax, I will be fine." The cat purrs and rubs his head on Usko's hand. He unpacks his clothes neatly and is happy that he could get some new clothes. He goes to lays on his bed and thinks about his love. He would escape to the earth to see her. The first time they met was when he had to go to earth on royal duties. She was in a lovely emerald dress and her hair was up in ponytail. Usko was in awe with her and she seemed interested with him.
"Hello Prince of the Moon. It is Sephiroth right?" She curtsied towards him and smiled at him. "It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Eden. I will be your hostess for this evening. Stay by side and I will help you with anything you need." The woman kept her eyes on the handsome young man. She is absorbed into his bright light blue eyes that remind her of the sky.
"Thank you so much for the hospitality Princess Eden." He takes her hand and kisses her hand. "I have to say hello to the other royals. I am here because of my father orders but I want to save a dance with you." He saw the princess blush and he smiled at her.
The night went by slowly and Prince Sephiroth became tired of these royal duties. He saw the princess dancing with some man but she is not happy. Her eyes locked with his and he knew that he had to save her.
"I am sorry to interrupt this dance but I need to speak with Princess Eden." He took her hand and led her outside where the moon shines bright. "Can I have this dance?" He kneeled and waited for her hand to accept the dance.
"Yes. It is so wonderful out here." Eden said as she glanced at the moon. She gave her hand to Sephiroth and he took her away with his dancing skills.
The couple danced in the moon light as if it was a dream. They slow down and lingered in each other arms. The prince held her face gently and kissed her soft lips. The princess was in bliss and held on to the blond. Their love bloomed, their love was forbidden but it was true love.
The memory dissolves and Usko gets back to reality. He misses his home and wants to get there sooner. He falls asleep with the locket in his hands and he mumbles her name in his sleep.
The blond wakes up early but he is barley functioning. He gets a call on his watch from Amorko.
"Usko-san are you awake?" His friend asks and sees that Usko is brushing his teeth.
"Yeah I will be there soon. Ugggg." He ends the call, gets dress in a baggy black tank and dark blue shorts. He has a bag packed of extra clothes and food. "Come on Leo. Who wakes at this time? No one is up." He groans as he walks to the bus stop. The blond gets off his stop and looks up at the stairs. "What have I done to deserve this punishment?"
"Usko, you can do this. The day just began." The black says as he climbs up the stairs.
The blond follows the cat and final gets to the top. He sees the gang and they look mad. "What I am not late." He pouts and remembers what is next.
"You are ten minutes late." Ren tells him and gives him a look.
"Fine. Morii take my blood." Usko says in a dull tone and glares at Ren. He smiles after because they were always like this when they were on the moon.
"Follow me. I promise it will not hurt that much. I have done this a few times. Trust me Usko-san. Masuto is making breakfast. It will be worth it." Amroko bribes his friends and reassures him that everything will be fine.
"I trust you Morii. I still hate needles." Usko says but he is fine with this. He takes in a deep breath and let's his friend lead the way.
"Here we are. Just take a seat. Everything is set up. I will take about two tubes of blood. I need you to relax and stay calm. If you are to stress the blood will not flow out as easily. Ready Usko-san?" Amorko asks his friend whose breath is uneven but he nods yes. The young man ties a rubber band around his bicep and looks for a vein to take the blood. He spots one and gets the needle in with easy. He slowly fills one tube and looks at the blond. Usko appears like he is doing well. He gets another tube of blood and patches up his friend. "Usko-san you did well. I am proud of you. How are you feeling?" He asks in a soothing tone.
Usko takes a deep breath and looks at his friend. "I am a little dizzy but it was not that hard. Can I have food now?" He smiles weakly and his friend leads the way. He gives him some juice which helps him stabilize.
Everyone is ready to have breakfast and Usko is eating everything that he sees. Not the best idea but he is not thinking. They will be training after the meal and other limit themselves.
Usko sighs and grins at his friends. "This was the best breakfast. Why are you guys not eating? Ohh wait training. Will my arm be ok?" He turns and asks Amorko.
"Yes you have a rapid healing and you need to train yourself to heal." The blued hair male says to him but he knows that not answer that Usko wanted.
"Come on we have a date." Masuto grins and grabs Usko by the shoulder. They go outside which is set up to train. "First we have to test your hand to hand combat. Come at me pretty boy." He teases the blond and is in his fighting stance.
Usko grins and runs at his friend with full force but it is a mistake. He falls on his face but he gets up. He takes a deep breath and gets his body ready. He moves fast on his feet and punches Masuto's side but it is a light tap and he gets a punch in return. He gets hit in the chest but he gets up. They start to punch, kick each other, and their speed increase. They groan in pain but they are both still up. They are covered in red mark and out of breath. Usko runs to a corner and pukes his breakfast.
"Usko-san? Aww that is gross. Ok take a break." Masuto says and drinks some water. He sits on the bench and is ready for the show.
"You are cleaning that up now. Drink some water and then we will battle next." Ren says as he gives Usko a bucket and mop to clean the mess.
The blond does clean his mess up and drinks some water which helps him a little. This training is intense but he did this all time when he was on the moon. He splashes some water on his face and takes off the tank. His body is toned and ripped. He is ready is this time. Masuto encourage Usko and the other just shakes their heads.
"Now, that you are done flaunting yourself let's get started on your sword workmanship. We will work with wooden swords and then if you are good enough we will go to our weapons." Ren explains, throws a wooden sword towards Usko, and he catches it with ease.
"Really wooden swords? I can handle a sword." The blond gives his friend a look of are your serious?
"Yes. I don't want to get my limbs cut off by accident. It is good training and common sense." Ren says in an honest tone and sees the Usko getting the hang of the sword.
"That is fine. Let's go." Usko says as he watches Ren. He knows that he has his own style of fighting.
The two young men walk in a circle before they start the brawl. Ren hits Usko's arm but he reacts quickly. He moves faster than before and they start to fight on the roof instead. Usko swings at Ren but he does not hit him. Usko growls in frustration.
"Usko, stay calms. Don't let emotions interfere with your fighting." Maski gives him a tip.
Usko listens to the tip and takes a deep breath. He re-centers himself and gets back into the duel. He swings stronger and with better accuracy this time. He hits Ren in the shoulder and then his arm. He moves faster, hits hard, and gets one last hits in the back. Ren groans in pain and falls. He bows to his prince and Usko helps him up. "See I am remembering how to fight and I have the drive. Let do with the weapon. One rule no stabbing. I can deal with cuts. We shake on it." Usko has his hand out and Ren shakes it. Usko and Ren summon their weapons and ready to fight.
They are on the ground this time and they observe each other movement. Ren attacks first but Usko dodges the hit. Then, their blades clash against each other. Usko push forward and Ren release the sword and cuts Usko's arm. The blond reacts for a moment and gets back to the groove. He moves quickly on his feet, he swings his sword but he is still having trouble with weight of the sword. Usko has to remember how to hold it and it comes to him. He grips the sword with two hands, swings, and cuts Ren on the bicep. He grins, moves with ease, and cuts more of the uniform. Ren growls at the blond and he gives up.
"That is rude. You ruined my komodo. I have to change." Ren huffs out to get new clothes on.
"That was the point." Usko grins but sees that he has some cuts as well. "I need some bandages. Morii-san save me!" He fakes dying but his friends were not amused. "What too soon?"
"Not funny dude." Maski points out and jumps off the fences that he was sitting on.
Amorko tends to his friends wounds and tries not to blush. Usko is already attractive and now he is like a sculpture of perfection. He checks on the cuts which are rapidly healing. Usko has a number of bruises but he can't do anything about them. He cleans up the blood and he is ready to train with Usko. "You are healing swiftly so don't need any bandages. Now, you train with me."
"What? Really?" Usko is confused but Amorko is not joking with him.
"I will help you with strategies while Maski and you fight. I will help with how to fight and the best point where to attack. Listen to me." Amorko tells him and Usko nods.
Maski comes from nowhere and has his chain at hand. Usko scans him but he no ideas where he will attack him. Amorko is at a distance observe the fighters.
The blonds fight and it is starts off intense. They are dodging each other moves and it is like they know where they are planning to hit.
"Usko move the location." Amorko says to the prince and he respond hastily.
The prince moves to the fence which is a more difficult location for them. He has to dodge the chain and stay balance all at the same time. Maski targets his feet and Usko has to jump over it. The prince changes the location again with it the roof. As he jumps up he grabs the chain and tugs Maski closer. He has his sword at his throat and Maski surrenders. Usko lets him go but it is a mistake. Maski punches Usko in the ribs and he falls. He gets his chain back and has his foot on Usko's chest.
"Never let go of the enemy. You must have the upper hand at all times." Maski lets go of his friend and helps him up.
"Great advice. Who told you that?" Usko says as he coughs a little and gets his strength back.
"You did. We did this train all the time. You were the best but you were training with the king since you could walk. Usko you did great today and your father is proud of you." Maski give him a warm smile and hugs him.
"Thanks Maski. You are a great friend." He nudges him and places his arm around him. "So can we eat now? I am starving!" Usko shouts, he is so tried and sore from the fighting. Through the whole process is energy consuming, he had to remember his past training. He has become stronger and feels that he has nothing to lose. Usko is ready to fight for his princess no matter the cost. His body is covered in red marks and some scars. His body heals rapidly but his skin scared easily. He remembers the number of scars he had back at the moon, there were many, and some were deep. Usko is a fighter and he has powerful stamina. He gets inside and sees that Ren is still mad. He is now in a dark purple komodo and he looks great in it.
"Dude it was just a komodo. But I like this one better." Usko gently touches the edge of the komodo and smiles at his friend.
"Thanks." Ren mumbles and lead the group of young men to where lunch is being served.
There is a table with a spread of different kinds of sushi, tempura vegetables, and each person has a miso soup. They all take a seat but Usko puts on a t-shirt that has a moon on.
" Itadakimasu." All the young men say it at the same time and smile at each other. They start to eat and Usko eats slowly. Everyone is staring at him and he stops.
"What? I learned my lesson from this morning. I want to enjoy myself. Thanks for all the help guys. So we do this every day after school?" He gives them a sly smile and he wants to do this. He needs to regain his strength and relearn how to fight.
"Sure we can do that for you. As long as you are up for it." Masuto says and giggles.
"Yeah, I am up to this. I need to get back to shape. You guys keep me beating me. I need to be the best." Usko says and giggles as well.
"Well that is good to hear. We will train as well." Maski states and his friends agree with him.
"I have to examine the blood today. I have to leave now. It has been a pleasure. I will see you tomorrow." Amorko leaves his friends and need to look at Usko's blood. He hopes to get results to better understand Usko's transformation.
"Yeah I think I have to go as well. I have to make dinner and clean the house." Masuto says, he kisses Usko on the cheek, and leaves his friends.
"I should go home as well. I need to rest. You guys tired me out. Thanks for everything. I am so sorry about the komodo Ren. Forgive me?" Usko gives him the puppy eyes and kisses his cheek.
"Yeah it is fine. Go home and rest." Ren blushes at Usko and tries to be calm. He notices that Usko can put anyone in a spell but Maski seems to be immune to his charm.
"Usko I will join you. Have a good afternoon Ren. Thank you for letting us train here." Maski nods at him and latches his arm around Usko. The blonds walk towards the bus stop.
"Maski thanks for everything. I thought I couldn't trust you but you know me better than I do. I am still piecing my memories together but you remember them by heart. Why is that?" He asks as they sit on the bus and he clings to Maski. He holds his hand and lays his head on his shoulder. It feels so nature to him and it is like they have done this before.
"I remember everything before you guys. I had your memories it seems and I kept them close to my heart. We were like brothers and we would switches places sometimes. Your father would get so mad at us." Maski and Usko remember the same memory and laugh about it.
"Yes, I remember that." Usko looks at the window and he see he has to go soon. "This is fun but my stop is coming. Thanks Maski-sama." He kisses him on the lips and leaves him shocked alone on the bus.
Maski touches his lips and smiles at the notion. His prince always being kind with his actions rather words. This was not the first time they kissed but it seems to feel like the first time.
Usko gets home and plops on his bed. The prince goes to bed and dreams of the moon.
For the next couple of weeks the warriors and their prince train every day. They get stronger by the day, their bonds grows, and they find hope. When the moon becomes full the team is ready to go home.
