Chapter 10: After the birth

This is the last chapter before the epilogue and hence the end of the story. It's probably the shortest chapter I've ever written; I hope you enjoy, it's just a little fluff.

It's six weeks after the birth of the twins and Aria is going back to school for the first time. "I don't think I can do this" Aria says tearing up as she was getting the babies dressed for the day or rather until they spit up on themselves.

"You are going to be fine Aria and the babies are going to be fine. They'll be with me all day and you'll have your friends. It's just a going to be for a few hours" Ezra tells her and gives her a hug.

"I know they'll be fine with you but I've never been apart from them for more than a couple hours since their birth and that entire time I wanted to go back to them but you kept insisting we needed to have a date night." Aria says

"Ok look tell you what I'll do. I'll bring them by during lunch so you can see them" Ezra tells her

"Aww sweetie you will, thank you. This is making me so happy right now" She says as she closing the last clasp on Eliza's outfit and pick her up.

"You are welcome. Now will you give her to me and go get dressed or you are going to be late." Ezra tells her before taking the baby from her arms.

A few minutes later they were heading out the door. Ezra secures the car seats into the car before getting in and head for Rosewood High. As he pulls up to the school they noticed Emily, Hanna and Spencer all standing waiting for Aria. He pulls up in front of them and before Aria could get out Hanna had opened the rear door and was about to take Elliot out of his car seat.

"Geez Hanna couldn't you at least wait for Ezra to park the car before you try to steal his kid?" Spencer asks and everyone laugh.

"No because they are so darn cute I just can't handle it. Plus I haven't seen them in 2 days." Hanna coos at the baby.

"All of 2 days, imagine that." Emily says sarcastically.

"Well come on English is starting in 5 and we don't want Aria to be late on her first day back." Spencer reminded them as she and Emily played with Eliza who was enjoying all the attention she was being given. Aria reluctantly released her grip on Ezra before wiping her tears and saying goodbye to her babies, then strapping them back into their car seats and watch as Ezra drives away.

Seeing she was still crying Emily pulled her into her arms in an effort to comfort her. Hanna and Spencer also offered her some words of encouragement. "You'll see them again in just a few hours."

"I know but I'm just going to miss them so much." Aria cried

"Before you know it, it will be time for lunch and Ezra will be here with them" Emily assured her before they made their way to class.

Graduation Day…..

The twins are now 6 months old. Aria just started introducing solid food however, she was still breast feeding. It is 8 am and Graduation is at 12. Aria had Elliot and Eliza in their high chairs trying to get them to eat their breakfast.

"Come on baby girl have a bite" Aria tried to coax Eliza to eat. She had recently started teething and has been feeling pretty miserable. Her brother on the other hand was eating up every bit of the oatmeal she was feeding them. She tried again and finally got the baby to take a bite. "So mama is graduating from high school today. Are you guys happy for me?" Both babies steered blankly at her.

"Wow not even a little smile?" Aria tried again, this time Eliza made up her face. Aria knew that meant she'd had enough. She put the bowl on the counter and proceeds to remove the babies from their chairs. "You guys are a mess. That means its bath time"

A couple hours later Ella had come over to help Aria get the babies ready. She was running late. They made it just in time for Aria to join the line and they found their seats before the march started. Ella and Ezra sat in the audience with the twins making sure to point out when Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily went up to collect their diplomas. Next Spencer went up for her valedictorian speech.

After the ceremony they all went out for dinner. All the girls, their parents, Ezra, the twins, Toby and Caleb were there.
