Okay yeah, I know I haven't updated in awhile..been busy. So here I am with this new chapter, and to reward all you guys this one is a happy one. :3 Isn't that nice? To think that until the next chapter something bad won't happen to Deidara?

~Next Day~
Deidara eyes fluttered, once, twice. He opened them but closed them immediately at the wincing sunlight. He would usually close those before bed, why were they open? Oh yeah, he wasn't in his room.
'When did I fall asleep?' Deidara wondered as he sat up and looked around the room to only wince at his stitches.
Maybe he was so drained after crying that he fell asleep.
Deidara fixed his hair back into a neat ponytail, his hair really did grow back a lot quicker but it still wasn't as long as before.
Beep, Beep, Beep..
Went the monitor telling him his heart was still racing. It was Deidara's lullaby for a few minutes as he started to doze off.
It didn't last long though.
A soft knocking sound on the door and a even softer voice calling through it, "Deidara-san, may I come in?"
The voice was unfamiliar but that wasn't the reason Deidara didn't respond.
The door opened up anyway and a woman with blonde hair in a bun with two long braids came in with Deidara's tray of food.
Setting the neat tray of tea, eggs, and onigiri on the night stand, she left and Sakura came in.
"Hiya, how ya feeling?" Sakura asked with what seemed like a sympathetic smile.
Deidara frowned, he didn't want sympathy. Even though it hurt like hell he still didn't want sympathy.
"So...after you eat," She paused and stopped playing with the end of the bed sheets and looked at him with a different gleam in her eye. "you can see Nozomi." She finished off.
"B-but, I thought she- I mean I didn't think.." Deidara stopped not being able to form a full sentence.
"She'll have to wear a mask though, you couldn't even be able to hold her till today but the air isn't good for her till her lungs are good." Sakura got up and picked up the tray and placed it over his legs.
With one last smile and saying nothing, she left.
Deidara looked at the tray for a moment before looking outside then back to his tray. He didn't really feel hungry but he began to eat anyway.
His mind slowly drifting to a red head he needed more then ever.
~Line Break~
Sakura picked up Nozomi and turned off the incubator, making sure the little mask was strapped correctly on her face, she turned around almost to knock into Naruto who was barely five inches away from her face.
"Naruto!" Sakura harshly whispered, as not to wake the baby.
"Is that her?" Naruto said pointing at the little girl.
"Shes so tiny and pale.." Naruto mumbled.
Sakura didn't know what to say, so she kept walking well knowing that Naruto was walking close behind her, staring the small infant.
"Can I hold her?" Naruto suddenly asked when they stepped into the elevator.
"What..No." Sakura said.
"Please, I won't drop her." Naruto pleaded, holding his hands out expectantly for the infant.
Sakura bit her lip, thinking for a bit before she sighed deeply. "Okay." Sakura hesitated before giving him the small baby.
Naruto smiled and gladly took her into his arms.
The elevator dinged and as they were about to exit an annoyed Ino was filing her nails while leaning against the side, glaring.
"Forehead! I've been looking for yo-" Ino paused before tilting her head to the side, "Whose the babe?" Ino pointed at with her nail file.
"This is Deidara's baby." Naruto told her, holding her up so Ino could see but holding her properly once again when Sakura turned to look at him.
"Isn't she like, really sick? Why is Naruto holding her. You don't want her to catch stupid." Ino said, following closely behind them down the corridor.
"Naruto is not stupid, Ino." Sakura told her as she got out her key to get something before going to the room Deidara was staying in for the time being.
"Yeah!" Naruto said, pumping a fist in the air before quickly going back to holding the baby correctly.
"Hes just a bit slow.." Sakura mumbled.
Naruto pouted and glared a bit before turning his attention the baby who strangely had yet to open her eyes.
"So, whats going to happen to Nozomi-chan?" Ino asked.
"I'm going to ask Tsunade if she could take the infant to her hospital." Sakura said.
"But, won't that be a bit hard to get Deidara to agree to all this?"
"That is the problem.." Sakura said finally making it to the floor Deidara was on.
She huffed and knocked on the door lightly, for some reason hoping he was asleep. And he was, his breakfast tray still very full but the tea was all gone.
Sakura and Ino stood in the doorway with Ino as Naruto slowly walked over holding the baby. At some point Naruto almost tripped over his own two legs causing Sakura to slap him and take the infant away from him.
"Deidara.." She said in a sing-song voice, lightly shaking his arm.
Deidara stirred but he only closed his eyes tighter before sighing and opening them.
Sakura giggled, suddenly feeling giddy. Sakura lifted the small baby in her arms before reaching out to Deidara for him to take her.
Deidara's eyes widened a little, it was obvious he was bit hesitant but none the less he took Nozomi into his arms.
Blue eyes stared at closed ones, aching for them to open.
There was a thick silence swimming in the air before Deidara acted suddenly and hugged her tiny body to his but not to tightly, he set her head on his shoulder and his hand supported the small of her back.
Small wet streams of tears rolled down Deidara's cheeks clouding his vision as a weak small smile made its way on his face.
This is all he ever wanted.
All he ever needed.
He couldn't believe this was happening, it was so..unreal, no it was surreal.
~Line Break~
"Deidara gave birth." Shizune suddenly said to Gato, as her and Tsunade went over the daily reports.
"When?" Tsunade asked before Gato could.
"The other day- Oh! She is so cute! She can almost say otousan and okaachan!" Shizune gushed, "Well, I guess gurgling isn't really an almost since she is still a newborn..She has pale skin like Deidara, but she has Sasori's hair and I think his nose! She hasn't opened her eyes yet , which is pretty odd, but-" Shizune got cut off by Tsunade.
"Shizune, that is enough." Tsunade told her giving her a warning glance.
"Oh, of course." Said Shizune before going back to her duties.
(..Heh..duty..:3)
Oh, this was posing a threat to Gato's plans to marry Deidara.
How could he have forgotten about the baby. He had made no such plans to deal with the little infant.
Now what was he suppose to do?
It would be so easy to just dispose of the little brat, but then it would be so difficult also. All the people who wanted to see the child would wonder what had happened to her.
Then Gato got an idea.
There was suppose to be up coming construction going on. That was no place for a child, now was it?
A simple excuse to get rid of the child would be sending it away for the time being while the construction was going on, the only thing was that it was never going to come back.
He was positive that by then everyone would have likely forgotten about the baby.
~One Week Later~
"Take her away!?" Deidara's eyes were wide before they turned into a fierce glare.
"No." He hissed out.
"Oh boy, told you he wasn't going to agree..." Ino mumbled.
"Deidara, this is no place for a child. Do you really want something happening to her?" Sakura asked.
Deidara bit his lip as if he was thinking before sighing. "I've been waiting too long for this Sakura, to have a real family." He said with pleading eyes.
"Deidara.." Sakura said, her eyes going soft and she reached out a hand towards him.
"Fine.." Deidara said his gaze dropping to the hospital gown he was wearing to the sleeping infant's face.
"W-Where are you t-taking her?" Deidara asked, you could tell how hard he was trying to stop himself from stuttering but failing miserably.
"To Tsunade's hospital, she'll be taken good care of, they have much better equipment there and it will only be for a little while." Sakura said, smiling a bit.
"Yeah..a half a month is a little while.." Ino snorted.
Sakura clenched her teeth and sent Ino a glare, having being caught in her lie.
"Deidara?" Ino asked, drawing attention away from herself from the pinkette to the blonde hospitalized who had fallen silent.
Once again, Deidara acted suddenly and hugged her tiny body to his but not to tightly, he set her head on his shoulder once again and his hand supported the small of her back, and the tears came once more, this time it wasn't just because he was overly happy.
~Later~
"So, Tsunade. I take it that Nozomi is being well taken care of at your hospital, right?" Sakura asked coming up to her at lunch.
"What?" Tsunade asked, chewing on a bagel.
"...I said-"
"No, I heard you. Its just that Nozomi never arrived to my hospital, I had figured you had changed your mind."
"What! No!" Sakura suddenly shouted, gathering unwanted attention from a few people.
"What do you mean she never-" Sakura stopped noticing the stares she was getting before she lowered her voice and continued, "What do you mean she never arrived?" Sakura hissed in a low whisper.
Tsunade frowned, "So you don't know where she could be?"
"I-I got a note saying she was settled in fine and was getting well feed and taken care of, the hand writing wasn't yours..so I thought it must have been an employee so thats why I came over and asked."
"Hmm..I wouldn't worry about it for the time being, but we'll look into this soon. You should ask Gato, maybe he has something to do with it."
~Line Break~

Sasori sat up from laying down on the couch and looked around the room, he groaned and laid back down for a moment.
"Konan?" Sasori leaned against the doorway as the blue haired woman glared at him before inviting herself in.
"Go put on a shirt." She told him.
Sasori rolled his eyes before looking at the small basket he didn't even notice she had brought with her.
"Whats that?" He asked, lifting the gray shirt over his head before pulling his dog tag necklace out of his shirt.
Konan smirked, " The pet home was trying to send this to Tsunade Senju's hospital. " She said dangling the basket a bit before setting it on the floor.
"So?" Sasori said, looking from the basket to her.
"With all the pandemonium going on, it no place for people..let alone a child." Konan said before removing the blanket over the basket and pulling out a small infant.
"What the fuck.." Sasori's eyes widened and he took a unconscious step back.
"No swearing around the baby."
When Sasori didn't reply she went on, "Deidara gave birth almost a two weeks ago and he can't keep her with all of the stuff going on so, here, its yours." She said before shoving the baby into Sasori's arms and picking up the basket and bolting out of the house.
Sasori frowned and stared at the little...eerrr -checks diaper- baby girl in front of him.
Fuck. He thought to himself.
~Line Break~
"Gato-sama." Sakura said as she came into his office.
"I wanted to ask you, do you have anything to do with Nozomi not showing up at Tsunade's hospital, I mean..I'm not accusing you I just mean, did you send her somewhere else?"
Gato raised an eyebrow before nodding. "Ah, yes. I sent her to a much better place." He said before smiling.
"Oh! Well where?" Sakura asked.
Gato was saved when Sakura's beeper went off.
"Excuse me." She said before leaving.
Gato started to ponder.
He really didn't have anything to do with the girl disappearing, but it did save him a lot of plotting, so he just had to go with it and hopefully, as it was now, it would play in his favor.
~Line Break~
"Okay.." Sasori said under his breath as he shuddered a bit, who would have guessed changing a diaper would be so...disturbing?
He had fed her, bathed her in the kitchen sink, hell, he even played with her.
Now all he had to do was set up a place for her to sleep, surely there was a great chance he would roll over and suffocate her or she might fall off the bed.
Sasori sighed and stretched, leaving the sleeping baby momentarily laying on the center of the bed as he went into the hallway to get a blanket to put it inside of the basket.
Sasori folded one blanket to act as a small pillow and laid the other one on the bottom of the basket.
He heard some gurgling noises come from the bedroom as he was doing this in the living room, so walking over to the bed he had found out that she was no long sleeping, but that wasn't what was so shocking.
Nozomi had opened her eyes.
They were a bright blue, just like Deidara's.
Sasori stared at her a bit before she gurgled up more drool, he picked up a tissue and cleaned her up before he picked her up and cradled her in his arms. His eyes never leaving hers.

Okay...so the baby being taken away from him for a bit wasn't a bad thing, so I didn't lie..but the baby not ending up at the hospital is a bad thing..but not really if the baby went to Sasori.
So still..I did live up to what I said! ^-^
Welp, I guess I better not keep you guys waiting and get on with the last few chapters. -waddles away-
