When we got back to Lima after our win, Noah insisted that we have a party to celebrate so on the weekend after we got back, we got back to Lima on a Sunday night so we had to wait till the following weekend, Noah held a party for the Glee kids at his place complete with tons of booze.

Sam and I were one of the first to arrive to help set up and gradually everyone else showed up. By 9pm, everyone has turned up, including Blaine, Kurt had brought him as his guest. It was around 11pm and I found myself in the kitchen with a glass of vodka and coke. I wasn't that much of a drinker usually so I wasn't as drunk as most of the others, especially Sam. I was standing there enjoying watching all my friends having a good time, knowing I wouldn't be the one with the killer hang over the next day, when Quinn came into the kitchen. I could tell straight away that she had also been drinking but not so much that she was staggering all over the place.

"Hello Rachel." She said pleasantly and came and stood next to me.

"Hello Quinn." I responded, smiling at her.

"I know that the last time I spoke to you, before Nationals, I said that I wouldn't ever try and be friends with you," she paused. "But maybe we can try and be friends. I know that we're not going to be the best of friends right away but it's our senior year next year and we shouldn't spend it fighting and arguing. We owe it to ourselves and the club to try and work this out." She told me sincerely.

"I couldn't agree more." I told her, without hesitation. "We have just won a National Championship, we should be celebrating as a team, not bickering over something silly."

"So friends?" she asked tentatively, holding out a hand for me to shake.

I batted her hand away and pulled her in for a hug. "I would love to be your friend Quinn, I've always just wanted to be your friend." I told her honestly and she hugged me tighter. "How are you and Finn?" I asked after a couple of seconds when I pulled away.

She sighed and looked towards the floor for a second before looking back at me. "When you heard us that day in that classroom, I was being a bitch. I was hurt because Finn said he didn't want to be with me anymore so I put up my bitch persona. I love him and I always have. I can't seem to help screwing things up for myself." She said sadly.

"You looked together and happy in San Francisco though." I said, very confused.

"I spoke to him when we got to San Francisco. I told him the truth, that I loved him, and even though he didn't say it back, he said that he would be happy to try again." She said, brightening up and with a massive grin on her face.

"I'm happy for you Quinn, it was always meant to be you two. Finn and I weren't right for each and it's only now that I'm with Sam that I can really see it."

"Thank you Rachel." She said, giving me her beautiful smile.

"Hey Jew Babe, get out here. You are the reason I'm throwing this party after all." Noah poked his head through the door, implying my solo was the reason we won.

"Noah, don't put that kind of pressure on me, it was a group effort." I told him, threading my arm through Quinn's and pulling her towards the living room with me.

"Errr Rache?" Quinn said, poking me in the side with her elbow. I looked up at her.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Santana and Brittney?" she said simply. I looked over at them and they were making out.

"Oh that, they're dating now. They told everyone while you two were in the kitchen." Noah told us from behind us. He then seemed to register what he said. "Wait, why where you in the kitchen with her Quinn?" he asked accusingly.

"We were just talking Noah. We're friends now." I told him. He seemed to accept this and then went off in search of more alcohol.

"Did you know about those two?" Quinn asked turning to face me and pointing in Santana and Brittney's direction who were still making out.

"Santana told me as soon as they got together. She could barely keep it in." I laughed.

"When?" she asked.

"Just before Nationals."

"Good for them. They look good together." She said, staring over at them. Then she turned back to me. "I'm going to find Finn. Is that ok?"

"Go ahead. I'll see you soon." I told her and she left. I wasn't alone for long before Blaine came up to me.

"Hello. I don't think we have been properly introduced. My name is Blaine Anderson, leader of the Warblers and runner up at Nationals no thanks to you." He said smiling and holding out his hand for me to shake.

"It's nice to meet you Blaine Anderson." I replied. "Are you not drinking tonight?" I asked. I could tell from his voice that he was sober.

"Nope. If I want to impress Kurt I have to stay sober." He told me honestly.

"You fancy Kurt?"

"Of course I do. Look at him," I looked over in his direction, he was talking to Noah and Sam. Sam at least was trying to look at least vaguely interested whereas Noah looked bored as hell. I could only assume that Kurt was talking about fashion. "He's beautiful. And he's funny and sweet and caring. He's everything you could ever want in someone. At least he's everything I want." He told me, still staring at him.

I smiled softly at the knowledge of this man fancying my best friend. "He fancies you two you know. You don't have to try and impress him, you've already won him."

"I want him to fancy me because he knows me, not because he's seen me perform. I want him to see that I could fit into his life and for me to do that, I have to get to know his best friends and that includes you. Everyone else seems a bit preoccupied at the moment." He said, finally pulling his eyes from Kurt and smiling at me.

"I would very much enjoy getting to know you."

We talked for well over an hour about anything that interested us both and it turned out, there were a lot. We both wanted to be famous and we both wanted to sing, Blaine wanting to sing his own songs, whereas I wanted to be on Broadway. When I mentioned my home life, he seemed very interested to know about how my fathers had got to where they were. He admitted that that was all he wanted for himself.

"I think Kurt may have some competition." I looked at him and raised my eyebrow. "For your affections. You are literally my soul mate….you know, if u were a male." He said, laughing a little. I laughed with him.

"Good luck, she's ours. You're going to have to fight us to the death for her." Kurt said, with Brittney in tow, coming up behind us.

"No one steals Rachel from us and gets away with it." Brittney said before pulling me in for a hug.

"I'll just have to give her a good enough reason to stray from you all then won't I?" he asked with a devilish grin on his face. Kurt look appalled.

"Come on Britts, let's leave these two to talk." I said talking her hand and pulling her up with me. Both Blaine and Kurt gave me a grateful smile.

"But I want to talk to the unicorns." Brittney said sadly.

"You can talk to them later. I think they wanted to be alone." I brushed it off and went in search of Sam.

I found him with Noah and Santana in the kitchen. As soon as she spotted Santana, Brittany ran up to her giving her a hug and a sweet kiss to the lips. "Hey babe." Sam said when he saw me. I smiled and went to stand next to him, his arm immediately snaked around my waist. "Puck told us about how you and the Ice Queen had made up." Sam said.

"Yep. Life is too short to fight and like she said, we'll be in our Senior year next year and then we'll all be going to different parts of the country for college. What is the point in fighting? Besides, she has an amazing voice, with us together, along with Brittney and Santana, we'll be unstoppable." I said happily.

"Even though Brittney isn't graduating till a year after us." Santana said sadly.

"Doesn't mean she can't sing with us. She's our best friend too." I told them both, grinning.

"It's going to be the best Senior year ever." Kurt said, joining us from the living room. He had brought Blaine with him and I was happy to notice that they were holding hands. I wasn't the only to notice either.

"Look, the unicorns are holding hands." Brittney exclaimed. Sam, Noah and Santana instantly looked towards them. They both looked embarrassed but kept hold of each other's hands.

"Congratulations Kurt." Noah said. "I agree with him by the way." he said to the rest of us. "It's going to be the best Senior year and we're going to win Nationals again...Sorry Blaine but it's a fact." he said apologizing quickly with the rest of us cheering together in agreement.

I'm sorry to do this on chapter 10 but I'm making a few small changes to the ages of the characters. The way I had it at the beginning wouldn't have worked out if I had kept it and it could have confused my readers more than they properly already are. So here goes:

Rachel, Finn, Quinn, Sam, Noah, Mercedes and Santana are all Juniors so they have one more year before they graduate. Artie, Sugar, Brittney and Tina are Sophomores like in the show and Mike, Rory, Matt and Joe are Seniors so will be graduating in the next couple of chapters. I hope this clears a few things up and I'm sorry for the confusion and mix up. Please don't hate me. As always, I love your reviews.
