Now, it is taking off from the waters outside the FF's home. Nighttress turned, from where she had been watching the jet, looking sheepish as she rubs the back of her neck. She says, "I probably should have told you this a few months ago and I am sorry for that. I am also sorry for the Doom thing and for being such a stubborn fool, will you forgive me?"

"That is all you had to say," Reed says.

"Of course we will forgive you," Susan says.

"Yeah, that is all you needed to do," Jonny says.

Thing hasn't said a word yet. "Thing?" Nighttress questions worriedly.

"Yeah, of course, I forgive you."

Nighttress beams at them. "Well I'd love to stay and all, but since Gambit's house is wrecked he is staying with us. And I best get back before him and Logan kill each other." Getting into her plane she adds, "And we don't want them sending a search party for me." Everyone laughs at that.

Twenty minutes away from the school Nighttress puts the plane on autopilot. Reaching for her watch she twists the face twice then slaps it with her palm. A holographic screen appears in front of her, the bottom left corner attached to the watch. A holographic keyboard also appears. She quickly types a letter.

Sydney,

Your sleeping gas worked beautifully. I used it on Stryker when I punched him. He should be out for three more hours if your calculations are right. Would you go pick him up? I will tell you all that has happened when I see you next.

You're Friend,

Nigh

Hitting send the hologram flickers then disappears.

When she lands the sun is just setting. Grabbing the duffle bag she brought with her she makes her way up to the school, looking like a soldier coming home from war, which unknown to those within the mansion, she is. A war she has been fighting in for some time.
